MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL
Tone 12 is the Day of Understanding in each trecena. A Cycle of Transformation is completing itself, as an Experience of Spirit leads an Understanding from the Head to the Heart. I always think of Tone 12 as the Day New Truth sinks in. Through a final Realization, we are Transformed to see something in a new way that effects a lasting change.
Rabbit is the totem animal of Star/LAMAT bringing high energy and the boundless potential to multiply abundance. First and foremost, we’re reminded that Star/LAMAT multiplies whatever we focus on. This is the Herald of a Blessing and the Sounding of Alarm at the same time. Today we are called to put into practice, Deer’s Spiritual Tool of Standing in our Truth.
PORTAL DAY: Element of Ether
A Portal Day is opened on this Tone 12 of Understanding. Portals lift the veil to other dimensions and Magnify a Connection to Spirit. The Portal also magnifies the Rabbit’s Gift of Multiplying to Abundance. 12 Star/LAMAT presents us with opportunity to Magnify our own Light to Abundance.
Star/LAMAT presents the Truth that we are the Personification of Light. We learned our Light Shines the Brightest when we Grasp and Hold our Connection to the Creator.
The Rabbit always seems to present a day where my thoughts can jump between Fear and Joy. My most helpful Spiritual Tool on Star/LAMAT is to state my Sacred Intention in my morning prayers and ask that Divine Agency Know and Support my True Intention. Should my Ego present its Fear, I’m comforted to know that my Real Truth is still held by a Divine Consciousness. I can Stand in my own Truth, relying on a Power Greater than my own.
Rabbit is considered a day of “pure luck.” Miracles are possible when we are engaged to our True Source of Power – magnified and multiplied.
To all my relations, may we State our Intention to Reach for God’s Light, Grasp it, and Pull it To our Heart. In every direction, may we emanate an Illumination that could expand with the unlimited possibility to touch every part of God’s Creation. And, may we hold Jaguar’s Love for Mother Earth for the Love and Beauty she offers to Raise us Up to become the Hands of the Creator and the Love and Light of the World.
in lak’ech, I am another you

12 Star/LAMAT (Cherokee, Rabbit/TAKATO’KA), Kin 168
Galactic Tone 12: Understanding. This number’s energy is a gift of great capability of retrospection. It is this ability that allows Twelve to connect disassociated parts into a (new) functioning whole. The energy of Twelve is that which presents a new piece of understood information or accumulated experience to be applied.
Star/LAMAT: Star energy is multiplication of all things to abundance. Star has been associated with the fertility of rabbits for its ability to multiply. As each sun in the sky, Star persons shine equally in all directions. This natural tendency of harmony and balance can become compulsion, motivating Star to be too agreeable and too generous, rejected gifts cause fear and resentment. When a Star believes it has been given too much, they are weakened or may even collapse. In this “Black Hole” state, Stars are prone to verbal jousting and arguing to force their point of view on everyone.
Cherokee, Rabbit/NOQUI’SEGWA: Symbol-Venus, The Morning Star cycle of 260 days and Evening Star cycle of another 260 days, inspired the 13 numbers, 20 Day sign Sacred Calendar. Rabbit is the Trickster of Cherokee culture, matching the Coyote in other nations. The personification of Light and New Life, Sunrise, the scion (a first-generation descendant) of the Moon-Father of earth children, the Rabbit is fertility, be fruitful and multiply. Represents softness, gentleness and vulnerability. LAMAT– Totem Rabbit. Energies of re-birth, regeneration, ripening, harvest and abundance. This person is overflowing with love energy in all areas of life. Spiritual growth is natural and with ease due to the unconditional love energy that flows.
