THE TRECENA OF OFFERING/MULUC
Yesterday, 4 Road/EB showed us our way of stability is to just keep moving. On a path that’s Divinely Guided, we will always know one more step we can take. We will conquer our unknown with each next Leap of Faith.
Some steps are harder than others. They might feel harder now in this trecena’s phase of Spiritual Growth (the first 6 Tones). Even knowing what to do and how to do it, there could be trepidation in the unknown challenges our next step might bring.
Tone 5 offers the “Light” of an Empowerment. Red Day Signs represent the “energy of an initiation.” The “lights are turned on” for us to See the Light that would move us beyond our hesitation.
Reed/BEN demonstrates an aspect of the Creator that is the Guiding Light for family and home. Reed is the Protector who’s willing to take up a cause to help another. Reed helps us to understand that the Creator sees us as family. Reed upholds the Divine Justice of an equal opportunity for Harmony and Order among all their relations. Reed offers the Promise that no matter what direction we take together, we will always end up in the Light.
The Reed/BEN glyph illustrates the symbol of an altar in its horizontal line. The vertical lines below are the prayer mats where we would kneel in Humility. The two shafts above represent the channels through which we share a direct communion with the Creator. They don’t reach down all the way, symbolizing that we have yet to draw the Full Light of our Illumination. There is always something new to see when in Humility we enter into this Light.
Together, Monkey/CHUEN (light/inspiration) and Road/EB (dark/experience) raised our awareness to Time. I found myself thinking about Time as it relates to some current challenges. Though I know the next step, and I have the means to take it, I found myself worrying about the long-term implications. This morning (4 Road) is the first time in a long time that I woke up in that state of trepidation, my Ego’s “fear of the future.”
At the Ascension of the last trecena I received an Unexpected Blessing that will solve an immediate challenge. Though, the solution presents a longer-term responsibility. I know I’m capable of managing today, but what about tomorrow? I found myself projecting on the “what if” scenarios that would present new challenges in the future. (Monkey’s laughing. I’ve already forgotten the miracle that happened 4 days ago. My Ego’s worthy of an enforced “time out.”)
I found taking the first step harder than it needed to be. Under the advice to “keep moving” I managed a phone call. Bigger steps could have been taken, but I celebrated THIS step as giving Life to my Intention. We always feel better after we’ve taken a next step.
Reed/BEN raises our Consciousness to the Divine Force of Humility and Cooperation. We might see challenges as more than we should rightly have to bear. Through a Direct Communion with God, we can bear the responsibilities of being Human by surrendering in Humility. The opposite of Humility is Pride, the construct of the Ego that tells us we Deserve better. Our Higher Self knows we receive far more than we give in cooperation with the Creator. When we turn to our own Divine Wisdom, we are released from the bondage that’s only an Illusion of the Ego.
Kneeling at an altar within we position our Self in Humility where we can volunteer again. Our Humility is a shared Experience of Love with the Creator. We will Receive More than we can Give. Some steps will be harder than others. Our willingness to take the next step builds the strength of our Spiritual Power. We can see how even hard steps will continue to become easier from the new strength of a step we take today.
To all my relations, the Faith we Demonstrate – in our Self and in the Future – is the Greatest Gift of Divine Wisdom we can share with Home and Family. May we walk in the footsteps of the Elders, who share the Wisdom of Humility. In the equal and opposite way of Spirit, our Strength will be found in Surrender Down on our Knees. In Humility we will remember all the Gifts we were unworthy to receive, and the Creator’s Divine Way of Blessing us with Unexpected Surprises and Miracles. May Reed remind us that the Creator Has Taken Up OUR Cause. A Protector with Almighty Power Cares Equally for all the Children of a Divine Family. May we turn to the Power of Humility to be Released from the Fear of our Ego. May our Illusions be broken in a Shared Experience of Divine Love.
NOTE: We are approaching a New Moon, the beginning of a Planetary Cycle of Intention, on May 25, 2017. The new Forecast on the Astrology Page defines it as presenting the “Elixir of Youth.” This feels much aligned with Monkey’s Way of Movement for this trecena. New Moons are times for planting seeds. We could Honor these next 4 days as a Sacred Ceremony – a Sacred Time of Choosing Seeds we would offer to the Creator for planting at the New Moon. The MULUC trecena is related to the Moon and our Emotions – and Water. May we acknowledge the Holiness of all Water, and remember it is a Gift we are Given for Healing and Purification.

5 Reed/BEN (Cherokee, Reed/I’hya)
Galactic Tone 5: Empowerment. At the center of the cube we find Five. Five is an intelligent, organizing force which manages communications and materials, knowledge and application. Fives are natural networkers who gather what is needed. These persons can probe directly to the core of any situation making them excellent investigators.
Reed/BEN: Reed persons are the spiritual essence, protectors and guiding light for family and home. They are competent speakers who will take up a cause. Very tough and analytical, Reeds endeaver to bring peace, harmony, and order to all of their relations. Reeds are blessed with great skill at negotiations and consoling which are very often put to the test. Although Reeds need a log of appreciation, many have a marriage or business problems because of inflexible views and high expectations, which erode affinity. The lesson of Reed is to be like a garden hose, not a steel pipe.
Cherokee, Reed I’hya: Symbol-Reed is the Earth, reflection of the Star Chaga of Pollux. Reed made up the Magician Twins who led the journey to bring back to life the daughter of the Sun. The Casket is Gemini. Energy for Intellectual minds, creation, re-creation, new directions, breaking the ties that bind. A trailblazer and leader. From the East, direction of success and happiness, no matter what route is taken, always ending up in the Light.
