MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL
Each trecena is a Sacred Cycle of Creation in the process of our Human Transformation. Living with the Consciousness of Unity with Every Thing, the Maya recognized their Shared Experience in the Perpetual Movement of Becoming.
Jaguar/IX’s cycle of Intention is an Awakening of our Spiritual Senses. A Dream was born and we gave our consideration to all that it could be. As we reach Tone 3 we take action on an Intention of Spirit.
We bring a Dream to Life with our first movement, which creates a vibration an energy that’s all its own. The Energy of Intention is given life as a vibration that ripples through creation to influence the Whole of our Collective Consciousness.
The IMIX trecena elevated Awareness to our Source of Spiritual Power. Jaguar/IX trecena offers the employment of our Spiritual Power to manifest the Wisdom of a New Spiritual Experience.
Wisdom/CIB is the Day Sign that represents the Ascended Masters who walked this way before. We are connected to their Wisdom. They can show how to overcome the inherent weakness of our Human Nature, and encourage us to use our Spiritual Power.
The Ascended Masters share a common Achievement of Unconditional Love. The Wisdom/CIB glyph illustrates a mind in a perfect State of Consciousness, made possible by Forgiveness. The Old Ones demonstrate that the Greatest Gift we can offer is the Blessing of our Unconditional Love and Forgiveness. Just as we question our faults as possible proof we are not “enough,” so does every Human question their Right to Be Who They Are. Our Unconditional Love and Forgiveness holds the Supernatural Power of a Divine Blessing.
Eagle/MEN encouraged us to be guided by our Highest Hopes. We can look to the Ascended Masters for an example of how we might employ our Spiritual Power. They were able to bring into union their Human Self and their Divine “I AM” Presence. They realized their True Identity as a unique Personification of Almighty God residing in each person. The Ascended Masters were Agents of God’s Blessing of Unconditional Love.
As I considered my own Intention for the Jaguar/IX trecena, I asked myself, “If I believed in my own Spiritual Power, what would I do with it? How would that Power be manifested in my new world?” Our own Intentions are elevated to a Divine Cause when they serve the Whole. Unconditional Love is a Divine Emanation of Energy and Vibration that is capable to Heal and Bless Every Thing.
On my first visit to Hawaii, I acquired “The Aloha Spirit – The Little Pink Booklet of Aloha” by Serge Kahili King, who shares the Hawaiian Art of Blessing. “The Aloha Spirit refers to a powerful way to resolve any problem, accomplish any goal, and to achieve any state of mind or body that we desire. The deeper meaning of the word “Aloha” is “the joyful (oha) sharing (alo) of life energy (ha) in the present (alo).” The Spiritual Power of Love is attuned as a vibration of Universal Power the Hawaiians call “Mana.” Its application is Powerful yet simple. “Bless everyone and everything that represents what you want!”
“Blessing” is the Highest Use of our Spiritual Power. This is a Spiritual Gift born of the “magic” of our Gratitude. A Blessing of Love can be shared through our thoughts, words, and Human touch. We can speak to the beauty we see. How beautiful is that sunset? How beautiful is the love we see shared between two people? How beautiful is the gift of our wellness in this moment? Our Own Blessings are Multiplied through the Acknowledgement and Blessing of Beauty.
Through an Intention to Offer a Blessing we bring a new Vibration of Love to Life. Wisdom/CIB is said to grow “luck like a crop” through a balance of prudence and tenacity. CIB promises us an Abundant Manifestation. When we extend God’s Blessing, we make the Way to Manifest our Highest Hopes. Through Forgiveness we are an open channel, ready to grasp every opportunity to Offer a Blessing of Love.
Summers feel short in the Pacific Northwest. Plans with my son’s family have been cancelled at the last minute for the past few weekends. I began to wonder if my “summer surprises” for the grandsons would be relevant by the time I’d see them. I was up early this morning and had just gone back to bed when the phone rang. My son had followed-up his missed call with a text message invitation to brunch and “could you be ready in 20 minutes?” My first reaction was to want to go back to sleep. Only, I realized I was resisting and Opportunity for Love, because of a resentment I hardly realized. I saw the justification that they should be trained to be more thoughtful, rather than expect me to always be available at the last minute.
There are so many ways that we resist Love. We might not even notice. Forgiveness means we jump for opportunities to Love. We can Choose to bring Light or leave things in the Darkness. I was almost willing to give up an opportunity for Love from the very people I Love and Who Love Me the Most. Now is the Only Moment we Have to Bless Others with All the Unconditional Love We’ve Got.
I called back and was ready in 15 minutes. I got to play Grandma with my bag of tricks and be surrounded by children and grandchildren who love me. How could I have missed an opportunity for this? The Blessing of my Love was multiplied BECAUSE I was willing to be ready at the last minute. Would I have gone back to sleep if I hadn’t been thinking about the forgiveness of Wisdom/CIB? I acknowledge the Old Ones are Worthy of some credit.
To all my relations, may we Acknowledge that through Forgiveness we are capable to see every opportunity of Goodness and Beauty we are given. Our Spiritual Power is magnified by our Gratitude and is multiplied it’s allowed to flow freely to every thing. As we introduce a new Sacred Intention of Spirit, may it be born as a Vibration of the Creator’s Highest Love. May our first movement of Spiritual Intention be a Blessing of the Beauty and Goodness that already exists in our lives. May we be ready to Leap for every Opportunity to Love, believing that every opportunity is Worthy of our Effort, and every Blessing we give is deserved.

3 Wisdom/CIB (Cherokee, Owl U’GUKU’)
Galactic Tone 3: Action. Three is basic movement and communication, which begins as a vibration. Three energy is very eloquent in all types of self-expression. Communication is how Three establishes a point of agreement between any point “A” and any point “B”. Three persons are rhythmic to the core and are often restless, as motion is their nature. By working closely with the energy of Three, any person becomes more able to predict motions of all kinds.
Wisdom/CIB: The old ones. Wisdom of the ancients. Wisdom persons are aligned with the ancient memories that wait in the stone of temples and sacred sites all over the world. Wisdom people grow luck like a crop using a balance of prudence and tenacity. The tremendous inner strength of this sign enables silent introspection to discover areas of oneself that contain wisdom more valuable than any trove of archaeological treasure. Wisdom persons are valiant defenders of family and community. They may become hardened to life and sentiment turned cold. In these cases, they need much forgiveness for their uncaring errors. Periodically connecting with nature and or visiting sacred sites will bring great stability to wisdom persons.
Cherokee, Owl U’GUKU’ O’JJ: Symbol is the Owl is Arcturus, the brightest Star in the Constellation Bootes. The Cherokee Bear constellation (Ursa Major) includes the Big Dipper plus four stars in Bootes. Owl is a hunter, who stands for the wisdom and ability of all great hunters, the cunning of a fox, the tenacity of a bulldog and strength of a bear. Energy for deep thinkers, strong-willed, rigid convictions, bold and authoritative. Owl is the Mystic Ferryman who guides Earthlings on the return path to the stars holding the torch aloft.
