MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL
Star/LAMAT is the Personification of Light and New Life. LAMAT is the scion of the Moon-Father of earth children. The Whole of Humanity is born as the first generation descendants of the Creator. Through Human, the Creator recreated itself so that its own Light would be Multiplied to Abundance.
Tone 9 holds the expression of Patience and Perseverance, under the guidance of the God of Light (Quetzalcoatl). As children of the Creator, we are the descendants of a Star, made Stars in our own right to shine our Light in every direction.
Tone 9 is a Peak Tone of Transformation that raises our consciousness through an Intention of Patience and Perseverance. Together as the One, We Serve as the Vigil of Everlasting Light.
We are passing through the 3rd Uinal of Movement, the birth canal of New Life. We are still the vulnerable sprout, yet to take on our own identity. The 3rd Uinal is guided under the direction of the Goddess of Water and Childbirth (Chalciuhtlicue). We are only half-way through. We’ve been freed from the darkness to Grow in the Light. As we reached the Sun, we realize the Divine Guidance present, even in our darkness, that led us to a Light we couldn’t see.
LAMAT’s totem is the Rabbit, a symbol of fertility and fruitfulness. Rabbit represents softness, gentleness and vulnerability, overflowing with Love Energy in all areas of life. Star/LAMAT is said to be a day of “pure luck” for its ability to Multiply. LAMAT is a Day Sign of great responsibility for its ability to Multiply to Abundance that which we hold in our Consciousness. In the Peak Tone 9, LAMAT calls for our Patience and Perseverance to Hold our Vision of the Light.
Peak Tone 9 calls us to look deeper into our own understanding by relating to our experience. Completion is all-important to Nine. It comes with the caution that there could be great suffering for lack of insight. As Stars, we shine our Light on Others. I learned by direct experience that people aren’t comforted to hear you know someone else with the same problem. I used to think a success story would be encouraging. I realized that when challenge befell a person I deeply loved, I only wanted to hear about them. We all want to be Seen in our Own Light.
The processes of fertility, birth, and regeneration demand much of our energetic resources. Today holds potential to present us with a feeling of over-stimulation or overwhelm. The Rabbit’s heart beats a little faster, and its resting temperature a little higher. Star/LAMAT is a day to declare our Intentions in morning prayers, asking for Divine Intervention to step in when we forget. Star has always been a day when I feel a little “out of touch.” I catch myself thinking about what I need or want, instead of what I have. I no longer rebuke myself for a failure, or fear my fear will be multiplied to abundance. Morning Intentions are a Spiritual Tool that would lift us up Every Day. We would remember that the Ascended Masters and the Creator are always with us.
8 and 9 are the Holy Days of the trecena – days of observances and festivals. We carried ourselves up a pyramid. 9 is the number of the God of Light (Quetzalcoatl), which is now drawn down.
To all my relations, may the Ascended Masters who hold the Highest Intention for Humanity make their presence known. May we receive our own Heavenly Sign that they are near. May we ask them to hold our Highest Dream of Love so it can be Multiplied to Abundance.

9 Star/LAMAT (Cherokee, Rabbit/NOQUI’SEGWA)
Galactic Tone 9: Patience. The energy of Nine is one of the getting a better perspective of the bigger picture. With the energy of Nine plans or patterns begin to come to completion. Nine requires patience and perseverance that is found in the bigger picture, otherwise there is great suffering from the lack of insight. The completion of cycles of action is all-important to Nine.
Star/LAMAT: Star energy is multiplication of all things to abundance. Star has been associated with the fertility of rabbits for its ability to multiply. As each sun in the sky, Star persons shine equally in all directions. This natural tendency of harmony and balance can become compulsion, motivating Star to be too agreeable and too generous, rejected gifts cause fear and resentment. When a Star believes it has been given too much, they are weakened or may even collapse. In this “Black Hole” state, Stars are prone to verbal jousting and arguing to force their point of view on everyone.
Cherokee, Rabbit/NOQUI’SEGWA: Symbol-Venus, The Morning Star cycle of 260 days and Evening Star cycle of another 260 days, inspired the 13 numbers, 20 Day sign Sacred Calendar. Rabbit is the Trickster of Cherokee culture, matching the Coyote in other nations. The personification of Light and New Life, Sunrise, the scion of the Moon-Father of earth children, the Rabbit is fertility, be fruitful and multiply. Represents softness, gentleness and vulnerability. LAMAT– Totem Rabbit. Energies of re-birth, regeneration, ripening, harvest and abundance. This person is overflowing with love energy in all areas of life. Spiritual growth is natural and with ease due to the unconditional love energy that flows.
