10 Transformer / CIMI – Journey of Discovery: Day 10 of 13

MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

10 Transformer / CIMI

Greetings Kin,

The trecena of Earth/CABAN is inspiring us to bring our Light to the world. As the source of all our Human Knowledge, the Truth taught by Mother Earth, holds the same Truth in the realm of Spirit. Through the balance of Reciprocity, what is true in one realm holds true in the other.

Tone 10 is the day of Manifestation and Transformer/CIMI is the Day Sign of a Major Life Change. In the Northern Hemisphere, the Movement of Mother Earth has carried us to the Winter Solstice, where we can claim the Promise of New Light.

Tone 10 is a day of great responsibility. In order to Manifest the Light we hope to bring, we must see it and claim it for our Self. Though, Light is inherent to our Spiritual Identity, we live in the darkness of the Unknown until we see the Light within our Self.

Transformer/CIMI is the helper through change that holds the gift of Clairvoyance. CIMI guides us through all our major life transitions and brings comfort through its ability to see the future. CIMI is the Day Sign that serves as the midwife and the hospice nurse, the one who would stay by our side and see us through the chaos of change.

CIMI helps us see that chaos is the sign of change. Chaos is the energy that prevails when we are between one state of being and another. Nothing is familiar, because we no longer see ourselves as we were. In the midst of change, we have yet to see what will be. CIMI’s ability to see the future is a major source of comfort. CIMI knows the Meaning, Purpose, and Blessing in our future.

The CIMI glyph illustrates death to reflect that something always dies as something new is born. From our Human death we are born into Spirit. Through Birth, we die to an old way of living. The major life changes we associate with birth and death, reflect the magnitude of a new change before us.

CIMI reflects the cycles of life, death, and rebirth and holds the Inner Strength of discipline and organization for Spiritual guidance. CIMI is said to be a day to tie up all loose ends, just as a new Mother would prepare a nursery, or a person nearing death would put all their affairs in order. Seed/KAN helped us gather together what is needed for a new way of life, and CHICCHAN ignited a movement within to bear evidence of a new life waiting to be born.

Long Meg and Her Daughters, a Bronze Age stone circle in Cumbria, is a sacred site created by our Neolithic ancestors in the northern region of UK. Here our Ancient Ancestors gathered to see the setting of the midwinter sun and celebrate the return of light.

Through CIMI’s connection to the Ancestors, they hold innate psychic abilities to be used as tools to assist others. CIMI’s Inner Strength is born through their ability to know exactly what to do in any given moment. As we struggle through the chaos of major change, CIMI shares this vision so we can claim the darkness will be overcome by Light.

CIMI is said to guide us with a “soft hand.” CIMI stays with us through the pain, struggle, and fear of change. CIMI sees for us what we can’t see for our Self. In our darkest hours, CIMI shares the hope of the future. One of the primary characteristics of Transformer/CIMI is a prevailing even-mindedness and Sense of Peace. With CIMI by our side, we can let go and surrender to the care of a Higher Agency. We can share CIMI’s sense that everything will be alright, under the care of one who knows exactly what to do and will never leave our side.

The Winter Solstice reflects our darkest hours on Earth. The perpetual movement of Mother Earth helps us believe in the Promise of New Light. She shares the knowledge that our greatest darkness precedes a new Season of Light. Through the guidance of CIMI we can accept the chaos as a positive sign and wait in the darkness, claiming a new Light to be Born.

In our era of artificial light, we don’t experience the darkness of the season as our ancestors did. They had to rely on the harvest of the preceding Summer to make it through the Winter. Their very lives depended on a new Spring. We can draw on their Wisdom to see the Solstice as a promise of new Life.

The solstices and equinoxes are major milestones in Earth’s cycles of movement. They call us to look to our past and our future. We could reflect on how things were a year ago, and the changes we accomplished with each season.  This is a day to hold our Highest Expectations. To manifest our new Light we must claim it, even while we live in darkness.

Through this round of the Tzolk’in, 10 CIMI falls in synchronicity with Earth’s promise of Light, and also falls in a Season of Miracles, a tradition passed down by our Ancestors. As a Day Sign of the North, we’re connected to the Wisdom of the Old Ones. The Element of Air represents the processes of the mind and our ability to acquire Wisdom… from our own experience, and from those who have gone before.

To all my relations, may we imagine the Solstice as our Ancestors experienced it, as the heralding of a New Life. May we look to the signs in the sky that reveals we exist on the threshold of new Light. May we claim the Truth of a New Magnitude of Light that is beyond our Knowing, built on the Wisdom of our Ancestors and our own Wisdom born from another year of growth. May we celebrate the darkness of a New Dawn guaranteed by a Divine Agency, engaged by the Creator to carry out a Promise. May we claim the Truth that we are waiting to be reborn, to manifest a New Light of Spirit and a new Awakening of Consciousness.

HAPPY WINTER SOLSTICE!

in lak’ech, I am another you

A NEW COMMITMENT TO GRATITUDE:

I’m sharing a the “21-Days of Gratitude” as a perpetual Personal Ceremony through the next journey to 8 Monkey/CHUEN Maya New Year.  This 21 days started on 11 Jaguar/IX and ends in synchronicity, on 5 Jaguar/IX – an empowerment born from the Magic of Gratitude. (21 days from Kin 154 to Kin 174).

21-Days of Gratitude: Day 13

I’m grateful that through the chaos of our change we are never left alone, and that we are under the guidance and care of a Higher Power who sees the Promise of our Future.

THE TRECENA OF EARTH/CABAN

Visit the 13-Day Trecena Guide for daily aspects and events of the Earth/CABAN trecena.

Galactic Tone 10: Manifestation. What were once intentions or ideas, hopes or fears become physically present with the energy of Ten. What is focused upon with attention and intention becomes real with Ten. Ten is a powerful energy that carries a great responsibility.

Transformer/CIMI: Cycle of life, death, and rebirth. Transformer persons achieve goals and emotional wealth. Transformer people can become highly respected business persons. They have the ability to help others through any and all transitions with tranquility due to their spiritual strength and guidance. Communities often benefit from Transformers discipline and organization skills. They strengthen the life of pregnant women and guide them through the transitions of maternity. Establishing contact with the ancestors activates innate psychic abilities, gifts to be used as tools to assist others. Transformers can have the ability to send evil intentions telepathically, this is their undoing. From these acts they lose power, easily fall into a victim role and begin to manipulate with a vengeance. A good day to tie all loose ends.

Cherokee, Twins/ TAKATO’KA: Twins symbolize the Female Sun and Male Moon, whose union keeps the world going round. Cherokee myth has the Morning Star heralding the Sun, Venus, also being the Evening Star as representing the TWINS. The energy brings major changes all throughout life, riding the tsunamis of earthquake and upheaval, making their own waves wherever they go. They undergo powerful transformations, alternating like a flashing neon sign. The challenge is to master Balance while experiencing Chaos leading to re-birth and abundance through infinity.

By providing the original text, I hope to offer a way to see what inspired my thoughts and by including all the aspects – allow for something more to inspire you. Mayan descriptions are those written by Ian Lungold. Cherokee descriptions came from multiple sources.
