MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL
TRECENA OF OFFERING/MULUC
The next 13 days…
MULUC is a trecena of incoming “Light.” Offering/MULUC represents the Moon, our Emotions, and Water everywhere from the cosmos to our tears. Water is the element that holds the Ether of Spirit. Through a sacrifice Atonement offers a Healing of our Emotions.
Ascending from the Wisdom trecena, we hold a Higher Consciousness of our Divine Nature. We found Inner Strength by recognizing the relationship that the Creator made possible with us through all the Spiritual Gifts we are given. The Offering/MULUC trecena will inspire us to make a Sacred Exchange by giving something back. Through an Offering we are brought into Atonement with the Creator. Offering/MULUC inspires a gift worthy of what we have received.
PORTAL DAYS: Element of Ether – The Offering/MULUC trecena includes 3 Portal Days. Portal days thin the veil to Spiritual Dimensions and magnify our Spiritual Gifts. Through Atonement, we will be “tuned-in” to the Creator. An Intention of Unconditional Love will be magnified on 2 Dog/OC. On our first day of movement 3 Monkey/CHUEN will show the way to move forward as a Creator, drawn by curiosity, beauty, and Divine Inspiration. Through an Offering we will manifest a Truth that wasn’t seen on 10 Flint/ETZNAB that can heal our pain and suffering.
PEAK DAYS: Peak Experience, Peak Performance
- 6 Jaguar/IX – will guide a Flow of Spiritual Momentum and Movement
- 7 Eagle/MEN – will offer the eyes to see the Gift that comes from a Sacred Exchange
- 8 Wisdom/CIB – the Holy Day will begin a Transformation as the Divine Justice of using our Spiritual Gifts for an Offering of Forgiveness
- 9 Earth/CABAN – empowers a Transformation of Oneness with Creation
11th & 12th UINALS:
The 11th Uinal completes an Intention of Resolution, a 20-day cycle that brings Clarity to our Intention to move forward. The Truths we’ve learned through this round of the Tzolk’in will all be drawn together for a Revelation of Purpose. On 13 Crocodile/IMIX we will enter the 12th uinal of Understanding that helps us Realize our Power of Creation. Our Seeds will be formed for the Fruit of Spirit we will bear.
“TAKE UP YOUR CROSS AND FOLLOW ME…”
The glyph illustrates a single drop of water suspended above the Whole. As we are seen by the Creator, we are returned to send the ripple of Unconditional Love through the Whole. Through an Atonement we are given the Power to Share Divine Love.
Offering/MULUC represents a Sacred Exchange. MULUC represents our communion with the Creator and the Creation. MULUC sheds light on the balance of Justice and Love. It’s said to be a day to “pay back, and pay forward.”
This was a day to bring an Offering to the Creator and to offer prayers for a good crop and the well-being of the whole. MULUC calls us to pay back what is given to us, and to give back where we’ve taken more than our fair share. MULUC is said to be able to teach us about the law of “cause and effect.”
When we take more than we give we create an imbalance of Harmony and Equity. An article on sustainability suggested that to become conscious of what we are taking, we could consider everything we have and use that is drawn from someplace else. When we draw resources outside of our immediate community we are taking something away that we can’t help sustain. We could consider all our demand on the resources of Mother Earth. She was created to sustain the whole with everything we need. When we take without an equal exchange, we deplete her resources for someone else.
Indigenous cultures have been “taken from.” Export demands have pushed Guatemalans off their traditional land and has led to the world’s fastest rate of deforestation. They’ve lost much of the home, sold off for money to be used someplace else. What we take and where we take it has a real and significant impact on the lives of others. Our Divine Offering to the Creator is repayment made Through the Whole.
We are being Inspired by Offering/MULUC to make a Human Sacrifice to Spirit. This is a trecena that helps us to see how we are all interconnected. We can see how the “lightning” stirred in us, sends a ripple through the whole. The Gift we can bring to the Whole is seeing one another the way the Creator sees us. The Gift we can create for ourselves is to allow our Self to be Seen.
What would we be willing to offer of our Self? The Elders said that whenever you bring an Offering, you would bring something worthy of what you expected to receive. What could we bring to a Creator who always gives in abundance. We can only invest ourselves in an in an Intention to Give our Self.
Our Gifts will be exalted on 8 Wisdom/CIB. By Divine Justice we will create our own Harvest of Spirit.
1 Offering/MULUC offers the inspiration for a new beginning. Tone 1 is a day to be Vigilant of Spirit, a day on the calendar we can mark for the incoming of Divine Inspiration. Tone 1 is a day of Unity when we feel the Wholeness of our Spiritual Gifts. We can feel connected to Spirit.
This is a Day of Initiation into our next Higher Consciousness of Spirit. We can reset the altar with an Offering of Holy Water. We are given the Spiritual Hand to Bless it, connected to the Divine. We can Bless our Household to clear the residue of old attachments, and we can Bless our Self.
It’s a day to honor our emotions and the emotions of others. Through our emotions we express our deepest longings and share the true condition of our Heart. The world cries out for what it’s lost and longs for a blessing of equality.
Human is said to be the “bearer of time.” We could think of how much time we’ve invested and waited to find our way to the Creator. We were all meant to receive the same Gifts, all meant to have an equal chance. We are called to sacrifice our lives to allow others to also have the time they need to know Forgiveness and Unconditional Love. We Ascended as Stars, the Personification of the Creator’s Light, made capable to offer Forgiveness through Unconditional Love, so we can reach the Light together. We bring Light through Understanding and Tolerance.
The Cherokee Day Sign the River represents the current of Spirit… the water that carries us back to the One. We’re inspired to let go of what we are clinging to along the shore of the world, and dive in to the Flow of Spirit. The Creator planned where it is leading to.
As we begin again, it’s always worthy to look back to see where we started, and the milestones we marked along the way.
To all my relations, may we open our hearts to others, remembering that We All Need Time to discover our relationship with the Creator. We could remember how lost we were, not so long ago. May we be grateful that the Creator waited for us to come around. May we sacrifice our own life to “bear the time” needed by others. May we see the effect of our Forgiveness will be to shorten the time that we must ALL suffer. May we give thanks that each one of us were given a special talent and capability to make a difference. May we be ask for the Well-Being of the Whole remembering we were all given a Divine Meaning and Purpose. May we make a Sacred Offering to Mother Earth to acknowledge how much has been taken from her. May we open our hearts to bear the Truth of what we’ve taken, and receive the Creator’s Inspiration for an Intention to give something back.
In lak’ech, I am another you

THE TRECENA OF OFFERING/MULUC
Visit the 13-Day Trecena Guide for daily aspects and events of the Offering/MULUC trecena.
1 Offering/MULUC (Cherokee, The River/YUN’WI GUNNAHI’TA)
Galactic Tone 1: Unity. One is the beginning of all things, the first, the whole and the all in one. One’s are assertive and self-guided and give a good push to whatever project they are associated with. One persons work best when meeting a challenge. Do not expect One-persons to be attentive to details or to put the finishing touches on things.
Offering/MULUC: Also known as the sign of water. Ceremonially, Maya use water as an offering in baptisms and purifications. These ceremonies are done to bring about a collective strength, adaptability and harmony. In sincere appreciation, Offering people gladly give more than they ask for themselves. Offering persons are dynamic communicators with great intelligence making them excellent employers. Like a shaken vessel of water, Offering people regain equilibrium quickly. Also like a body of water, there may be deep undercurrents of emotion and hidden dangers. Others perceive these as hidden agendas in offering people and so extend them little trust and may even slap blame on them.
Cherokee, The River/YUN’WI GUNNAHI’TA BO EO IW: The River is symbolized by The Milky Way, the Gihli’Utsun’stanun’yi “Where the Dog Ran” to gather the souls for Heaven. The River is the minion for Grandfather Moon. Long Man is the personification of the River stretching from the mountains to the lowlands, speaking to those who can understand. People of this sign find “sermons in the stones” and good in everything. These souls march to a different drummer, driven by inner volcanic forces. The River is the “Fountain of Life” and represents the fluid of the cosmos to fluids in the body, with the energy to clear all karmic debts, personally and on a mass level with fluidity and grace. The Moon controls our fluid cycle, to clear and understand emotional issues. When you take this step to clear the emotional body, then you are ready for transformational energies at the next level. As humans, our actions are ruled by our emotions, the key is to understand the connection and honor the emotions.
