MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL
The MULUC trecena is guiding an Intention to sacrifice ourselves as an Offering of Forgiveness. Through forgiveness we are made One with the Creator. We are bound to the world by our Human experience of injustice. Through forgiveness we can die to the world to know the unbridled Freedom of Spirit.
Focused on the “injustice of the world,” that’s all we could ever find. Through forgiveness we see the Divine Justice that always exists when we live a life for Spirit.
11 Storm/CAUAC is the day of Resolution in the 11th uinal of Resolution. Today, the evidence comes together that would allow us to clearly see the path that lies before us. We were led to walk in forgiveness to learn from the Wisdom of the experience.
Tone 11 is the day the shaman climb to the Highest Altar. They bring an Offering to be made One, and Kneel in Humility to draw down the Light of the Creator. As we have given, so shall we receive. Tone 11 is a day when we are positioned to receive Inspiration from the Creator that will bring Renewal and Regeneration. We are offered a Higher Consciousness of the Power of Forgiveness. We only have to listen. We will receive our Understanding through our Spiritual Gifts of Knowing
The Cherokee Redbird makes its appearance as a Sign of Spirit’s “lightning energy” in the sky. Storm/CAUAC represents the Unbridled Freedom of Spirit. The lightning of the Storm reflects a connection between Heaven and Earth that knows no boundaries. Lightning finds its own way. The Above and the Below are magnetically attracted to one another. Like the “sense of gravity” held within the Seed, that provides the sense of direction for growing on Earth, so does the Spirit sense its direction for growth by a gravitational force from Above.
Our Spirits gravitate toward Forgiveness. Our Human Nature gravitates toward Justice. When we allow our selves to be led by our Human Nature, our focus will always be a war against “injustice.” We will always need “more” to live in equality in the world. Someone will always have More and someone will always have Less. Our “unconscious” direction leads us into the Human struggle for “More.”
When we turn from the world to live by Spirit, Forgiveness is the reward that creates our True Freedom To Be. Our Treasure isn’t won by clawing, fighting, or suffering for “More.” Our Treasure is found through an effort of Being.
Light is always more Powerful than Darkness. We must Acknowledge this as an Important Truth. Every day on Earth, the first thing we see is Light Dispelling the Darkness. We all know that no matter how dark a place might be, the Light of a Single Candle has the power to overcome it.
We can apply this same Truth to the magnetic attractions of the Above and the Below. The more we exist in our Human experience the stronger the “pull” of the world. The more we exist in Spirit, the more we are attracted to the Above. If “Light” is more powerful than “Darkness” all we have to do to live in Harmony is turn in that direction and let go. Our Spiritual Growth isn’t as hard as we make it out to be. All we have to do is turn around for the Power of the Above to overcome our attraction to the Below.
As Human, we must “bear the time,” but as long as we are turned around the Creator can draw us Home to the Place of Oneness. Time is the hardest thing for Human to let go of. On Earth we only see a limited lifetime. We want things “Now” because we never know how long we’ve got. We can be afraid to turn to Spirit for all the time it could take, time that could be wasted, living on Faith alone. An unconscious attraction to the next worldly thing we want makes us forgets to Acknowledge the beauty of “right now.”
Turning within attracts us to the experience of our Spiritual Being… Happiness and Harmony that requires nothing from the world. It’s a lifetime journey we can make without money or a suitcase, and a destination we can reach no matter where we started, and no matter how many wrong turns we make.
Through a flash of “lightning in the blood” CAUAC renews our Spirit through an experience of Being. CAUAC illustrates the thunderclouds that gather and our natural inclination to turn for Home. CUAUC shares that “Feeling” of comfort – the feeling when we close the door behind us in the place where we hold Authority. Our Spirit’s Home in Oneness with the Creator is the place where we find the Unlimited Authority over our Harmony and Happiness.
Forgiveness is our way of turning things around. When we turn our backs to “injustice” we will always see our Divine Justice right in front of us. We are drawn away from our obsession with “justice in the world,” an effort as fruitful as a dog chasing its tail.
Seeing the world from Above, we can see that darkness holds an important role in the Story of Light. A Creator never sees us as bound to the place we are, but sees the Whole of the Experience of Dark being Transformed to Light.
We were offered the Highest Examples to see how perfection is impossible for Human without Divine Intervention. The 10 Commandments reveal the Truth of our Human imperfection. It is this state of imperfection that helps us see our own need for Forgiveness. How can we ever “justify” our resentment of another, when we are also incapable of perfection? Our guilt lies in our own judgement.
Our Offerings to God make us One with the Creator. Our Offering of Forgiveness to the world, makes us One with All of Humanity. We ALL bear the burden of our Human Nature. Knowing the Unconditional Love of the Creator is Human’s Highest Meaning and Purpose. We grow away from the world, by turning to the Enlightenment of Spirit.
11 Storm/CAUAC is bringing Resolution for a Higher Consciousness of Forgiveness. Forgiveness is the Light of our Illumination… the Light that can help turn others around.
To all my relations, may we turn for Home whenever we see the storm clouds of “injustice.” May we see the way home by the Light of Forgiveness. May we know that as long as we hold the Intention to turn to Forgiveness, an attraction from above will draw us Home. A Power Greater than our attraction to the world can find us. May we give thanks that we are never far from home. Our strongest magnetic force flows through the Heart. Forgiveness is the “change of heart” that turns us toward Home. May our Gift of Forgiveness return the clarity of the Creator’s Unconditional Love… the Divine Grace that never saw our fault, but only a story of Human learning to Forgive… a story of Human turning to the Light.

11 Storm/CAUAC (Cherokee, Redbird/TOTSU’HWA)
Galactic Tone 11: Resolution; 11 assists every new thing to find its place in the universe in the process of ‘fitting in.’ some modifications must occur. Eleven is the energy of dynamic actions facilitating change, simplification and improvement.
Storm/Cauac: Day of the blessing of rain, giver of all life and lightening, a gift of nitrogen to Mother Earth and ozone to Father Sky. Cauac is also associated with the moon and the cycles of the moon, which are the meter of the feminine aspect of creation. The essence of Storm is the feeling of unity, security and warmth experienced in the home while the tempest of trouble rages in the world outside. Perpetually youthful, Storms exist to experience the ecstasy of freedom. They have the great capacity to both learn and teach. Their constant quest for novel experiences often leads to difficult tests and storms of emotion. Looking at these difficulties for the lessons they indeed are, will enrich our lives rather than destroy. Cauac individuals teach much through their electricity of being. Lightning energizes earth, this same energy energizes humans. Divine connections can be accessed.
Cherokee, Redbird/TOTSU’HWA: Redbird’s symbol is Alcyone of the Pleiades Star in constellation Taurus. Alcyone is the Central Sun of the Universe, heart of heaven. Lightning is the visible evidence of the presence of Redbird Spirit in the Sky, daughter of the Sun Spirit, sign of Fire, Sun’s alter ego on Earth. Redbird is a feminine sign; the hand that rocks the cradle. The symbol of nurturing, the lightning nurtures and energizes, with energy for zest, curiosity, imagination, and ideas. Lightning adds spiritual force to the human by way of “lightning of the blood” of a healer, directly body to body vibration. The key to spiritual communication and access to the wisdom of the Ancestors lies in the ability to bestir the blood to speak. Sacred stones such as flint, obsidian, crystal are created by lightning striking the ground.
