MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL
Tone 6 is a Peak Tone that establishes a Rhythm and Pattern of Movement, creating Momentum for Dynamic Developments. Tone 6 is the final step in our new phase of Spiritual Growth. Compared to the energy of a great athlete in motion, all our practice is about to pay off as what began as an effort to change, becomes second nature. We no longer look at our feet. Our focus turns to the finish line.
Road/EB is the Day Sign of Human Destiny. The journey we make through life is the Road of our Destiny. We were born with the Gift to create our Future. Given Free Will, our lives become what we create by Choice. We are ultimately defined by all the Choices we’ve made.
Human is called the “bearer of time.” We must bear the time it takes to Remember. The Aztec Day Sign is Grass/Menalli, that represents the strength of perseverance, to be “as perennial as the Grass.” We’ve pulled up roots in the world to plant them in the realm of Spirit. Road encourages us with the Faith to carry on for a Divine Purpose.
Our Human Consciousness and our Spirit Consciousness are the two identities of Human. Our two states of mind were created to work together. Our Human mind holds the Power of Will and Discernment. Our Spirit contributes Knowing and Truth. With the Will for Perseverance and the Truth of Spirit, we can make the Choices our Heart Desires.
Human is Sacred to the Creator as the one who must bear the wounds of its lower choices. So do we have to bear the effort of an upward climb. To Grasp the fullness of Spirit, we must always be reaching for something beyond our reach. When both sides work together in Faith, we see that “we can.” We’re transformed when Faith becomes Belief.
Road/EB can heal the path of our journey. The glyph shows the Road of Destiny on Human’s head, illustrating that we hold the Power and Responsibility for the choices we make. On either side are the milestones along the way. EB reminds us to mark our milestones of Spiritual Progress. Our changes can be so small, we need something to look back to. Today we’re marking a Choice to prevail the upward climb. We get our second wind near the top of the pyramid. If we look behind us, we’ll see all the stairs we were able to climb.
This is a day to discover the “stuff we’re made of.” The Power of Love and the Power to Create is within us. If we Humbly persevere against all odds and with all our limitations, we are doing what needs to be done by Acknowledge the Power belongs to the Creator. Our Power is multiplied to abundance when we apply it for a worthy purpose.
The greatest everyday gift of Love is Peace in the storm. The physical world loses its power over us, as we take root in the realm of Spirit. The injustice will lose it’s grip, as we Believe in the Promise of Divine Justice. As we are lifted above the gravity of the world, we can fly like the wind.
The Cherokee Rattlesnake Tooth is Spiritual Medicine of the shaman. It was used to mark the skin in a ceremony of healing. It left a permanent mark of a transformation. It is also the sign of the Rainbow, displaying the electromagnetic rays of the sun. The Rattlesnake will leave the mark of a Spiritual Healing that will be made visible so we Remember.
The world that transforms before our own eyes is changed by perception. At first, our Human eyes won’t see the difference – we can’t see changes that first happen in the heart. Over time, if we prevail, the Love Known in Spirit will manifest on Earth and the whole of Humanity will wake up together. We will Know that Every Human was furthering the cause in the Creation of a Beautiful World, in both our Darkness and our Light.
To all my relations, may we make the Choice to Persevere, no matter what things look like. May we be kind to our Human self, the one that bears all the fear, suffering, and blame for all our choices. May we put down roots of Love in the realm of Spirit, where we can Live for Love instead of survival. May we Believe in our Love and the Power to Create. May we Believe in Humanity and look for the proof that Human hearts Are Changing. May we seize the days that are given for another opportunity to Know Unconditional Love.

6 Road/EB (Cherokee, Rattlesnake Tooth/KANU’GA)
Galactic Tone 6: Six is responsiveness and the art of negotiation. It is the movement of volume through space that creates time. This energy in action is like the art of dance or a great athlete in motion. Six facilitates dynamic developments in all aspects of life.
Road/EB: The bearer of time and conductor of destiny; also known as Human; these persons open the road and guide to the future groups, communities and individuals alike. Likable, obedient, dedicated hard workers and organizers, Road persons are fortunate in business and travel. Many become care takers of the poor, sick, or old people, where they may make personal sacrifices. Road is sometimes referred to as the sign of grass, which is the most bountiful of all life forms, but is also the most humble. Road persons are affectionate and emphatic; they are easily hurt but slow to anger. Holding in of negative emotions and unexpressed resentment can lead to illness, a poisoned opinion of others and a false bravado for this sun sign.
Cherokee, Rattlesnake Tooth/KANU’GA: Symbolized by a rainbow, the delicate display of electromagnetic rays of the SUN. Rattlesnake Tooth is the Natal day sign of Medicine, the Shaman, the Priest, the Healer, and the Sorcerer. Guardian of the Way, Keeper of the Keys of the secret Kingdom.
