MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL
We complete our climb of Spiritual Growth at the top of the pyramid. Tone 7 holds the Intention of Reflection. What is reflected in one realm of Consciousness is Balanced in all others. As Above, So Below.
We’re called to reflect on the progress of our Intention. Every effort we’ve made will be matched by a Divine Agency to serve the Creator’s Intention of Justice.
Tone 7 brings into view all that is, and is not. Tone 7 represents the balance of Divine Will.
Reed/BEN represents a channel of Divine Communication. The glyph represents an Altar. The columns above are the channels of Divine Light. Below are the prayer mats where Human kneels in humility.
All our efforts to Know Spirit are Divine. The Creator Knows our Human limitations. Even when we Know that Unconditional Love is waiting, it can be hard to let go of our suffering. Reed/BEN meets us in the place that we fall to our knees. When we’ve reached our limit, we are positioned for an in-pouring of Light. Our brick wall is only the veil between dimensions. Through Intention we propelled our Soul as close to the boundaries of Spirit as we could. Reed/BEN brings the Light to Illuminate the thread that connects us to the Power of Spirit.
A Mayan Daykeeper and friend in Guatemala describes the pyramid as a spinning vortex. In cycles of 4 days we rotate through the 4 directions. Above the pyramid is a Mirror Reflection. The top of the pyramid is where we transcend to the realm of Spirit. The stairs we see leading down, are actually stairs that continue leading up. Up above, the realm of Spirit spins in the opposite direction. This reflects the differences in the traditions of the North (Yucatec) and the South (K’iche) in their rotation of the directions. Together, the North and South uphold the Divine Balance of the Above and the Below.
The top of the pyramid is the Apex where two worlds meet in Divine Chaos, spinning in opposite directions. This Chaos is the Sign of Transformation and Change. When we’ve climbed as High as we can Humanly go, Agents of Divine Intervention will draw us through the veil of Spirit.
Reed/BEN is the Day Sign of Family and Home. We are only one drop in a Divine Family of Spirit, though our Love ripples through the Whole. Our greatest influence lies with those we call family. Deer leads by Demonstration. When we treat one another “like Family,” we offer the Love of Inclusion… the “ties that bind.” Deer/MANIK, the Mayan Priest has led us to the Highest Altar to Grasp the thread of Ether that will bind us all in Spirit.
Our “wall” between Darkness and Light is an Illusion. The Intention that brought us to our knees in Humility, positioned us to receive Reed/BEN’s Blessing of Light.
The Purpose of the Deer/MANIK trecena is to inspire us to stand in the Authority of Divine Spirit. In the first two uinals of the Tzolkin round, we are germinating a New Life. The Seed must discern the Above and the Below to grow in the right direction.
Deer’s Miracle is still hidden. Jaguar/IX is present, guarding in Stealth the Sacred Altar at the top of the pyramid. Tomorrow, on 8 Jaguar/IX, the shape-shifter will lead us into the Dimension of Spirit.
Through a Choice to reach Above, we created a Divine Covenant with the Creator. We created a Miracle in another place and time. Through Divine Intervention we will be drawn to the place where it exists. What we can see in the Reflection of Spirit, will be Balanced in every realm of Mind, Body, and Spirit. What we have Dreamed to Be will be Drawn into Being through a Channel of Light.
To all my relations, if you’ve reached the Limit of your Human Power, you are positioned for a Divine Intervention. Deer/MANIK promised to bring every Spiritual Tool we would ever need. At the peak of a climb to become the Hand of God, we are given a thread of Ether that we can Grasp. From the other side, a Divine Agency will pull us through. May we Kneel in Humility that there was so little we had to do to call upon the aide of Divinity. We only had to make a Choice to make the Climb as far as we could go. The Choice created a Miracle in our Future. May we Kneel in the Humility of such a small offering to be led to our Divine Destiny.
in lak’ech, i am another you

7 Reed/BEN (Cherokee, Reed/I’HYA)
Galactic Tone 7: Reflective. Seven stands as a mirror to divide light and dark and to reflect all that is and is not. Seven is associated with the source of creation and the flow of Divine Will. With a keen sense of ethics, Seven establishes purpose to current and future goals.
Reed/BEN: Reed persons are the spiritual essence, protectors and guiding light for family and home. They are competent speakers who will take up a cause. Very tough and analytical, Reeds endeavor to bring peace, harmony and order to all of their relations. Reeds are blessed with great skill at negotiations and consoling which are very often put to the test. Although Reeds need a lot of appreciation, may have marriage or business problems because of inflexible vies and high expectations, which erode affinity. The lesson for Reed is to be like a garden hose, not a steel pipe. Bless or repair your house.
Cherokee, Reed/I’HYA: REED- Symbol-Reed is the Earth, reflection of the Star Chaga of Pollux. Reed made up the Magician Twins who led the journey to bring back to life the daughter of the Sun. The Casket is Gemini. Energy for Intellectual minds, creation, re-creation, new directions, breaking the ties that bind. A trailblazer and leader. From the East, direction of success and happiness, no matter what route is taken, always ending up in the Light.

How is your Spiritual path today?
I love to hear from you. Share your thoughts on the day, your Day Sign, or just say Hi!
ENERGY REPORT: I tripped on the last step and fell to the top. I was so tired of waiting for miracles. It felt good to be a victim. I was afraid I couldn’t let it go. Reaching a hand up to Spirit was all I could manage, but it was enough to bring me to my knees.
