6 Monkey / CHUEN – The Birth of a Savior: Day 6 of 13

MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

6 Monkey / CHUEN

Greetings Kin,

Tone 6 is the “taking off” point in the flow of this trecena. “Six is the movement of volume through space that creates time. This energy in action is like the art of dance or a great athlete in motion. Six facilitates dynamic developments in all aspects of life.”

Today our Intention is moved by momentum as our climb begins to take on a greater meaning and purpose. Dog/OC and Monkey/CHUEN are said to exist in affinity. Residing together at the center of the Tzolk’in, they are the two Archetypes central to the Identity of the Creator. They offer the Power and the Way of Movement to manifest our own Divine Identity.

Dog raises our Consciousness to the Power of Unconditional Love. Love is our Super Power. We can overcome our Human limitations, when we do anything for the sake of Love. Love makes us willing to sacrifice our Self for another.

Monkey/CHUEN is the Weaver of Time. CHUEN knows the value of our time on Earth. Under the Intention of Tone 6, CHUEN demonstrates a way of movement that turns our investment of time into a work of Art. The Monkey is said to weave all the threads of our experience into the tapestry of our life. Through Higher Consciousness, Love can be the artist’s tools and medium with which to create Beauty through the Art of Living.

The Monkey approaches life with curiosity. It’s moved by Beauty to explore life and see what it can accomplish. The Monkey is a symbol of one who invests its time in creation. Together, Monkey and Dog guide us to create and to do what we do for Love.

CIMI’s trecena of transformation has been a ride through chaos. We’ve had to surrender our Self under the care of Divine Guidance, as something familiar is dying away and we exist in the place in-between. The purpose CIMI guides is to Have Faith in our Vision of the Future. We are guided to sacrifice our life in the world, for a life we will create in Spirit.

We are doing the work of holding Faith in the Unseen. To believe in the way the Creator sees us. Through the Creator’s eyes we would see the power we manifest investing our time for Love.

One of the earliest experiences of “Living for Love,” was becoming a Mother. Making the transition from the freedom of responsibility to a lifelong commitment is a Consciousness Raising Experience. Suddenly, you see what you will be responsible to do for a couple of decades. You make choices you didn’t have the Power to make when it was just yourself. You make sacrifices to accommodate someone else’s needs. The choices are easier because of Love.

So are we to live our lives creating for the Intention of Love. Human’s journey of life is an endless experience of creation. We get up every morning to create our means of living. When we only do it for our Self, the work becomes only an endless stream of days without meaning or purpose.

In the midst of my chaos, I’m feeling tired and unproductive. I’m holding faith that I’m cared for and in process of a transformation. Today the sun was shining. As I made errands for the purpose of getting outside, I thought of all the opportunities to enjoy nature that the weather provided. Yet, I was somehow incapable to do more than take a drive.

Seeing my 90/91 year old parents raised my consciousness to all the time I could have left at my disposal. That was my inspiration from the Reed/BEN trecena of family and home. Now, walking the walk of application, I’m seeing the reality of how much time is wasted.

I’ve been preoccupied with the inequities of Humanity. I went through a whole spreadsheet calculation to discern that if 5 of the top Billionaires shared 10% of the their wealth with the Whole, $30,000,000,000 would cover the Health and Education of every citizen on Planet Earth by American standards. 5 people. Then to be fair, I took everyone else and found that $8/mo each would accomplish the same thing. Seeking an Answer to change outside my control, I realized how much more I have to give. I saw the Beauty that would be manifested in the future, if I Created More for the purpose of Love.

Our worldly wealth is what we create for our Self. No matter what we acquire, it will all be left in the world. What we create for the well-being of the Whole becomes the Eternal Riches we carry into the realm of Spirit.

6 Monkey/CHUEN engages us with the Joy of Living by Creating Beauty. What could we create for our Self that would be more beautiful than something we create for someone else? Our most beautiful clothes wouldn’t all come off the same rack in the right color for the season. They would be unique and different, bearing the beauty of the personal handwork in the stitches. Imagine what Human might create if we weren’t bound by any worldly standards of beauty.

One of the joys of creating the clothes for the Sun/Moon Dance Ceremony, was that it could be anything, each embellishment holding a personal meaning with secrets stitched on the inside. You don’t have to dance to create your own ceremonial wear for special occasions. We can create ways to identify our Self in the Time and Place of Consciousness.

The CIMI trecena has brought the Master of ALL Art, Monkey/CHUEN. The Dog and the Monkey are said to have an affinity. Residing together at the center of the Tzolk’in, in the positions 10 and 11, they are the aspects and personality traits most Central to the Creator. They are the Day Signs of the Unconditional Lover and Creator.

Monkey and Dog reflect the real Joys of Living. Love ignites our creative urge and brings Spirit to Life. Art is manifested in the physical world from the realm of imagination. Creation is an activity of Pure Spirit.

We create our most beautiful art from the things we love. Human inherited the Gift to Create Art. All living things are the Artwork of the Master’s Hand.

The Monkey engages us in curious play. It sees how a thread of experience over here, would be beautiful placed with a thread over there. Human is the only Creation with the ability to travel through time. We are capable to re-experiences things that happened long ago, to imagine something in the future, and all times in between.

Monkey/CHUEN calls us to re-experience the Time of our Life. We could look back for the experiences of darkness that were transformed by the Light of new understanding. We can re-write our experience of living into something of beauty, by placing the threads that go together. “New patterns or inventions are also woven into our lives by Monkey. Amiable, intelligent, generous and a jack of all trades, Monkey’s innocent curiosity leads to artistic expression and constructive solutions.”

We are connected to the Creator through both the Heart and our Imagination. Our best ideas are generated in the process of Creation. Our cares fall away when we are sewing, constructing, painting, making music, or imagining stories. Art amplifies the Voice of Spirit through inspiration.

Monkey/CHUEN notes that it rarely finishes anything. The Monkey moves on from one object of beauty to another to gather all the threads of experience that it can.

Together, the Dog and the Monkey reflect the Heart and Mind of a child. When we were children we created whole worlds in our imagination.

We can look to the children around us to lead the way. They are the ones that still believe that anything is possible.

To all my relations, may we be engaged in the Joy of Living. May we imagine what joy we would have creating, if the Meaning and Purpose was more important that just our own interest. May we know that our capabilities to create would be magnified to abundance if the Intention was a Divine Meaning and purpose. May we believe in the Momentum of our own Faith to carry us to a breakthrough of Human Understanding. May we persevere in the darkness, remembering we entered a Covenant with the Creator, a promise to be Transformed by the Wisdom of Love.

“A way opens before you. All obstacles and impediments are removed. Only that which is worthy and desirable goes forward with you.” ~Native American Blessing.

6 Monkey/CHUEN (Cherokee, Raccoon/KVH’LI)

Galactic Tone 6: Six is responsiveness and the art of negotiation. It is the movement of volume through space that creates time. This energy in action is like the art of dance or a great athlete in motion. Six facilitates dynamic developments in all aspects of life.

Monkey/CHUEN: Monkey is known to the Maya as the Weaver or Weaver of Time. Monkey takes ideas as threads of vines and weaves them into the fabric of our reality. New patterns or inventions are also woven into our lives by Monkey. Amiable, intelligent, generous and a jack of all trades, Monkey’s innocent curiosity leads to artistic expression and constructive solutions. Many Monkeys become highly respected merchants or speakers. They love performing practical jokes and crave attention, so much so that they may over-act or play the fool to get the spotlight. Monkeys have a short attention span and find it difficult to stay with anything long enough to master it.

Cherokee, Raccoon/KVH’LI: Star Symbol: Algol, a star in Perseus. Restless energy yearning for long-lost love. Algol was named DEMON STAR or MISCHIEVOUS ONE by the Ancients because it winks and fades at times. Raccoons are full of friendly mischief, eager to swap kisses for candy; magnetic leaders, full of humor and gaiety. Favorite food is corn, the mainstay of the Cherokee. Very artistic while being the “masked bandit” who steals your heart.
