MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

11 Reed / BEN

Greetings Kin,

Tone 11 guides an Intention of Resolution. All our experience is drawn together to Resolve a New Way Forward. Tone 11 “assists every new thing to find its place.”

Reed/BEN is the guiding Light for Family and Home. We were marked as members of a Divine Family that shares a Divine Communion through the Heart.

Reed/BEN illustrates an altar, a Direct Line to the Creator. Above are the open channels of the Creator’s Light. Below are the thatched rugs where we Kneel in Humility. In the Humility of our Human limitations we draw down the Light of the Creator.

Reed is the open channel through which Human maintains Communion with the Creator. The Elders said we are meant to be the “Hollow Bone.” Free from the flesh of our worldly Ego, we are open to Divine Discernment of Truth. Without expectations, we Kneel in Humility to Acknowledge a Divine Consciousness, Higher than our Own with Dreams beyond our Imagination.

Tone 11 is the day the shaman climb to the Highest Altar. Our Sacred Offering is our Human Wisdom of the Experience. We offer our Truth with an Open Mind, willing to assume a new Perception of our Truth.

At the Highest Altar of all, Reed/BEN shines a Light of Divine Discernment. We can arrive at the Truth that our Divine Destiny was guaranteed from the beginning by our own Intention. Kneeling at the Highest Altar, our Faith is Transformed to Believing that God has heard our Prayers.

For me, this AKBAL trecena has been an “other worldly” experience, a Dream more like a never-ending episode of the “Twilight Zone.” Miscommunication on mundane matters has made it feel like a collective experience. It’s so easy to believe that we are the only one who is suffering, when our Intuition would discern otherwise.

Seeking the Light of the Creator, we can Believe in the Dreams Aligned with God’s Will of Harmony and Equity. Once we believe, there’s no reason to turn back. We can accept failures and setbacks as part of the experience. We no longer have to suffer, knowing the Journey is led by the Creator.

Reed/BEN is a day to “bless and repair the home.” In Humility, we can accept the Truth of our own inability to live up to the expectations we place on others. As Humans, we are all partners in the crimes of unconsciousness. We can offer Blessings on behalf of one another for all the Human limitations we must bear in our journey through the darkness. We can Forgive on behalf of the Whole.

The Maya observe Reed/BEN as a day to volunteer their service in support of the community.

To all my relations, may we see that even our brokenness serves a Divine Purpose when we are surrendered to God’s Will. In our own Humility of Failure, the Light of a Divine Aspiration can shine through us. We shine with the Truth that we expected more than we were capable to Give. In Humility, we can join the Human race, and claim the Victory of Surrender.

in lak’ech, I am another you

11 Reed/BEN (Cherokee, Reed I’hya)

Galactic Tone 11: Resolution; 11 assists every new thing to find its place in the universe in the process of ‘fitting in.’ some modifications must occur. Eleven is the energy of dynamic actions facilitating change, simplification and improvement.

Reed/BEN: Reed persons are the spiritual essence, protectors and guiding light for family and home. They are competent speakers who will take up a cause. Very tough and analytical, Reeds endeaver to bring peace, harmony, and order to all of their relations. Reeds are blessed with great skill at negotiations and consoling which are very often put to the test. Although Reeds need a lot of appreciation, many have marriage or business problems because of inflexible views and high expectations, which erode affinity. The lesson of Reed is to be like a garden hose, not a steel pipe.

Cherokee, Reed I’hya: Symbol-Reed is the Earth, reflection of the Star Chaga of Pollux. Reed made up the Magician Twins who led the journey to bring back to life the daughter of the Sun. The Casket is Gemini. Energy for Intellectual minds, creation, re-creation, new directions, breaking the ties that bind.  A trailblazer and leader. From the East, direction of success and happiness, no matter what route is taken, always ending up in the Light.

By providing the original text, I hope to offer a way to see what inspired my thoughts and by including all the aspects – allow for something more to inspire you. Mayan descriptions are those written by Ian Lungold. Cherokee descriptions came from multiple sources. UPDATE ON A LIFE DREAM:

On 4 Sun/AHAU I was able to make the reservations for the trip to celebrate Ian Lungold’s Mayan birthday, 12 Sun/AHAU, on the observance of the Day of the Dead. It felt important to the information I would share in my book. I’m grateful to be part of such a flow of Love, more necessary that money, for the realization of my dream. You are already the blessing of just being here. (But you could help me spread the word.) much love, in lak’ech, Debra https://www.gofundme.com/life-dream-a-pilgrimage-of-spirit

I know what a healing it will be to see I’m just as capable as I have always been to charge off into the unknown for the experience. (Monkey must be talking.) I couldn’t be doing this without you.
