1 Storm / CAUAC – A Dissemination from 1 Wind/IK

TRECENA OF STORM/CAUAC: A RENEWAL & REGENERATION OF SPIRIT

Greetings Kin,

This morning Minisa Crumbo, 1 Wind/IK shared traditional wisdom from the Medicine Wheel. She turns our thoughts to orbit of Mother Earth, and the Time of the Natural World that sets the stage for Human’s Wisdom of Experience.

In gratitude and appreciation – Thank you Minisa!

From the Dawn of 1 CAUAC (July 31, 2020)

And, this 1 Cauac dawns beautiful, tropical, wet and windy.

Truly a time, apti gizes, mid summer, to differentiate and honor the in-between emotion and awareness as we begin the first week of autumn, by the natural calendar. Our prayed-over winter seeds have sprouted, flowered and formed seeds of their own..these new ones will nourish and carry us through the next 13 moons to a place similar to where we sit now…but moved deeper into the dream and vision of life.

“Circle of Life” (Oil on Canvas), by Minisa Crumbo Halsey

The Circle of Life, as the water flows, the grass grows, and the winds blow:
There is beauty above, beauty below, beauty all around.
Deer stands at the East, direction of illumination and mental clarity — Spring,
Mouse stands at the South, direction of innocence and new life — Summer,
Bear stands at the West, direction of introspection and heart-felt gratitude — Fall,
Buffalo stands at the North, direction of wisdom and purity — Winter.

The “Circle of Life” painting is shared from Dawn Woman’s Blog, by Minisa Crumbo Halsey

Donald and Dolores Perrot

Minisa was raised by the tradition of the Muskogee/Creek tribes, and through her personal heritage as a Respected Elder of the Potowatomie tradition. She is among the few Elders who holds the Sacred Wisdom of the Potowatomie language. The wisdom was passed down by Donald Perrot, a member of the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation, an Elder and a US Navy Veteran. He is heritage fluent speaker of the Potawatomi language, and did not learn English until he began school at age 6. He has published numerous manuals on the language, and is a frequent guest teacher and lecturer. His passion is the revitalization of the Potawatomi language, which is endangered. There are as few as 10 heritage speakers alive. Minisa fulfills her destiny of 1 Wind/IK through the dissemination of Truth and Wisdom shared from Above.

It is worthy to know your own Spiritual Lineage in the Circle of Life, as it is one in the gift of our Sacred Inheritance.
It was Minisa that disseminated the Wind that drew me in earnest to the Medicine Wheel teachings, when she invited me to the Sacred Ceremony of the Sun/Moon Dance in 2002. And, Minisa was there, holding prayers as we held the Sacred Ceremony for Ian Xel Lungold on my pilgrimage to Ek’ Balam. I departed from the Sacred Pilgrimage to the Yucatan to return home on the wings of 1 Wind/IK, Kin 222, on the date that marked 1,111 days of Tzolk’in calendar posts on Jaguar Spirit.com.
So are we One with the Medicine Wheel circle that carries on through Minisa’s wisdom and on the land in Mounds, Oklahoma. Minisa is a member of the Lightning clan. I honor the Cherokee tradition on this site in honor of my Great, Great, Great, Grandmother that shared a drop of her blood.

1 Storm/CAUAC (Cherokee, Redbird/TOTSU’HWA)

Galactic Tone 1:  Unity. One is the beginning of all things, the first, the whole and the all in one. One’s are assertive and self-guided and give a good push to whatever project they are associated with. One persons work best when meeting a challenge. Do not expect One-persons to be attentive to details or to put the finishing touches on things.

Storm/Cauac: Day of the blessing of rain, giver of all life and lightening, a gift of nitrogen to Mother Earth and ozone to Father Sky. Cauac is also associated with the moon and the cycles of the moon, which are the meter of the feminine aspect of creation. The essence of Storm is the feeling of unity, security and warmth experienced in the home while the tempest of trouble rages in the world outside. Perpetually youthful, Storms exist to experience the ecstasy of freedom. They have the great capacity to both learn and teach. Their constant quest for novel experiences often leads to difficult tests and storms of emotion. Looking at these difficulties for the lessons they indeed are, will enrich our lives rather than destroy. Cauac individuals teach much through their electricity of being. Lightning energizes earth, this same energy energizes humans. Divine connections can be accessed.

Cherokee, Redbird/TOTSU’HWA: Redbird’s symbol is Alcyone of the Pleiades Star in constellation Taurus.  Alcyone is the Central Sun of the Universe, heart of heaven. Lightning is the visible evidence of the presence of Redbird Spirit in the Sky, daughter of the Sun Spirit, sign of Fire, Sun’s alter ego on Earth. Redbird is a feminine sign; the hand that rocks the cradle. The symbol of nurturing, the lightning nurtures and energizes, with energy for zest, curiosity, imagination, and ideas. Lightning adds spiritual force to the human by way of “lightning of the blood” of a healer, directly body to body vibration. The key to spiritual communication and access to the wisdom of the Ancestors lies in the ability to bestir the blood to speak. Sacred stones such as flint, obsidian, crystal are created by lightning striking the ground.

By providing the original text, I hope to offer a way to see what inspired my thoughts and by including all the aspects – allow for something more to inspire you. Mayan descriptions are those written by Ian Lungold. Cherokee descriptions came from multiple sources.
