8 Road / EB – A Quickening of Spirit: Day 8 of 13

THE TRECENA OF SERPENT/CHICCHAN: GIFTS OF SPIRIT

MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

8 Road / EB (Human)

Greetings Kin,

Tone 8 is the Zenith Hour of Light. Number 8 is the Solar Number of “pure Spirit.” Peak Tone 8 is the zenith hour of the Sun, and the Highest Illumination of Truth. . On 8 Road/EB, our Heart will Feel the Truth. What Human experiences through our Feelings we will Remember.

Road/EB is the Saq’Be’, the Tzolk’in, a calendar within that charts Human’s transformation. All Time has a Divine Meaning and Purpose for the Beginning that leads to the End. The glyph illustrates the Road to Destiny on Human’s Head. On either side are the milestones along the journey.

HOLY DAY OBSERVANCE: 8 Road/EB is observed for the Celebration of Human’s Divine Destiny. Known as the Sac’be, the “White Way” is the shining path of Light, the Sacred Calendar of Human’s Transformation. The CHICCHAN trecena leads to the Ascension of 13 Earth/CABAN, the Divine Justice for those who follow their heart.

This is a Day to Celebrate Life and the Sacred Right to Choose our own Way. Road/EB is also known as Human, Sacred in the eyes of the Supreme Creator as the One that must “bear time.”

Road/EB resides in the South, the direction of our Relationships with one another and the Natural World. Holding the Element of Earth, Road/EB relates to tangible human experiences. The South holds the Human prayers for Right Relationship, a Dream of Loving one another the same way we are Loved by the Supreme Creator.

The Cherokee Day Sign is the Rattlesnake Tooth, an implement of Spiritual Medicine. The shaman used it to break the skin where the medicine would be applied. Today we will Feel a Gift of Divine Truth, and it will leave a mark on our Road that we will Remember.

Today the Road of our Destiny is illuminated by a zenith light. We can Feel our own way forward, never has to be influenced by external forces. Like our Mother Earth, we are guided by the Light and Passion of Love within. A Golden Rule was written in our heart.  This is a Day to live for the Intentions of our “Pure Spirit.”

Those born Road/EB are slow to anger, friendly and respectful. They are often caretakers of the weak, disabled, and elderly. Though they can be stepped on, they have the strength to rise again to their Divine Purpose. 8 Road/EB is a day to honor life by living an honorable life. It was a day when no life would be taken. There would be no stealing, cheating, or lying. It is a day to perfectly follow the Golden Rule.

This is a Day to See and Acknowledge that the Golden Rule has always been written in our Heart. We were born with the Wisdom of Innocence. Today we may celebrate a Quantum Leap on our evolutionary path of becoming. The Aztec Day Sign is The Grass, representing Human’s perennial nature. Grass is the most hearty of all the Green Beings. Deeply rooted in the experience of Earth, Grass can reach even greater heights Above. Humans can be held down, disregarded and trampled on, but like the grass, the Spirit of Humanity will always rise again. This is one of those times that will leave a mark.

Tone 8 begins a new transformation guided by a Divine Intervention. God will do for us what we can’t do for our Self.

To all my relations, may we Offer our Self to God’s Way. May we take the final Leap of Faith into a New Life, living the way our Heart Feels True. May we invest our Whole Self in the Truth of a Divine Provision. May we honor this Day by a Holy Intention to Live every Hour of Light by the Golden Rule.

in lak’ech, i am another you

8 Road/EB (Cherokee Rattlesnake Tooth/KANU’GA)

Galactic Tone 8: Justice. Harmony and balance are the intent of Eights carefully weighs all evidence to reach a balance of justice. Eight is the power of organization demonstrated in the statement ‘as above, so below,’ from simplicity to infinity, the energy of eight organizes all levels of creation, some eights are ‘neat freaks.’

Road/EB: The bearer of time and conductor of destiny; also known as Human; these persons open the road and guide to the future groups, communities and individuals alike. Likable, obedient, dedicated hard workers and organizers, Road persons are fortunate in business and travel. Many become care takers of the poor, sick, or old people, where they may make personal sacrifices. Road is sometimes referred to as the sign of grass, which is the most bountiful of all life forms, but is also the most humble. Road persons are affectionate and emphatic; they are easily hurt but slow to anger. Holding in of negative emotions and unexpressed resentment can lead to illness, a poisoned opinion of others and a false bravado for this sun sign.

Cherokee, Rattlesnake Tooth/KANU’GA: Symbolized by a rainbow, the delicate display of electromagnetic rays of the SUN. Rattlesnake Tooth is the Natal day sign of Medicine, the Shaman, the Priest, the Healer, and the Sorcerer.  Guardian of the Way, Keeper of the Keys of the secret Kingdom.

REMEMBERING THE POWER OF THE SERPENT/CHICCHAN, THE CHEROKEE CALLED THE POWER OF DO’TSI: Serpent’s symbol is Constellation Serpens. Serpent people are Sky people who come to Earth periodically as Educators. As above-So below, on Earth the Serpent is the Roots of the Tree of Knowledge. Serpent power is vital energy, the moving force, the instinct and desire for creativity, the trigger that sets off the action. It lights the fuse that magnifies and explodes the life force itself. Knowledge, combining science, technology and psychology, plus spirituality are seeded on the planet through the Gift of CHICCHAN.
