8 Monkey / CHUEN, The Truth Within: Day 8 of 13

Happy Maya New Year, WAXAJQIB B’AATZ (8 B’atz)

8 Monkey/CHUEN (2015) dmalmos, Painted at the beginning of the first Journal of 260 days.

Greetings Kin,

8 Monkey/CHUEN (8 B’atz) marks “the beginning of the world” under the Intention of Divine Justice. Monkey/CHUEN is exalted in the zenith Hour of Light.

Tone 8 begins the Transformation phase of every trecena, from the Higher Ground of the Ascension that came before. Our last trecena was guided by Monkey/CHUEN, guiding us to Create the Beauty of our Heart’s Desire. The Dream was given to the Heart of Seed/KAN so we could experience the Beauty for our own Design. On Tone 8 we celebrate the Power of Consciousness – the Gift to Create our own world.

As Above, So Below. The Number 8 (Waxajqib) is the symbol of “pure spirit” and Abundance to Infinity. We honor the Whole that made the journey together, the 20 Divine Perspectives that guided Human’s Ascension to Higher Ground. A Supreme Creator intended Divine Justice for every One. On the New Year the 260 Destiny Kin are blessed by name, honoring every Human, and the All-in-One.

With the Dog by its side, CHUEN creates the Beauty of Love and weaves Life into a thing of Beauty.  8 Monkey/CHUEN completes Human’s orbit of Creation. The Creator intends for us to see the Light of New Wisdom. A Divine Agency Intervenes to prove how far we’ve come.

Monkey/CHUEN resides in the West, the direction of the Unknown and Unlimited Possibility. The Element of Water holds the Ether of Spirit used by the Mayan priest for Baptisms, Blessings, Purification, and Initiation. The New Year marks the Initiation of those who choose to dedicate themselves to Count the Days, to Acknowledge the lords of every Sacred Day that share the Light of the all-in-one.

The New Year honors the Sum of our Whole. Monkey/CHUEN is the mystic and the alchemist of Love. Days guided by CHUEN always hold the potential for mystical experiences. CHUEN offers a Blessing of “pure spirit” to our Heart and Mind.

Whether you are choosing to dedicate yourself to a First round, or completing a journey that begins again, our Hearts are Opened to feel the Presence of the Whole. Our mind is connected in a Divine Communion where an Offering of Gratitude is shared back and forth. Remembering the Whole, we offered a place for their Love and Wisdom to Live again. The New Year is a celebration of a Divine Circle created, Loving back and forth.

Monkey/CHUEN shares the Divine Consciousness to see the Truth of all our Time and Experience. Human’s Masterpiece of Love is a Dream that carries on. On Tone 8 our Divine Justice is knowing our Truth matters, and our Love completes the Beauty of the Whole.

This is a day to celebrate how far we’ve come and to celebrate the Beauty that will be created from the Seeds of our Highest Dreams.

To all my relations, may we kneel in gratitude to the Light of a Divine Agency where we Belong. May we dedicate our Self to a Mission to Complete the Beauty born of a  Divine Dream. May we bless the Holy Ground where the Living were given the Power to Create a world of Light, Love, and Happiness for the Whole.

Happy New Year. May we make a joyful noise and celebrate a New World on behalf of the Whole.

Guatemalan Sacred Fire

In the cosmology of the Maya, when we follow the traditions of the Old Ones, we offer their Spirit a Life in our Consciousness. See prayers offered for the New Year and the Count of 260-Days offered on the Wajxaqib’ B’atz’ New Year Page

On WAXAJQIB B’AATZ the Mayan priest observes the Sacred Fire Ceremony. Those who will dedicate themselves to Count the Days are called forward for an Initiation of Spirit.

In these Times few of us have access to a community through which to share the gifts of ritual and ceremony. There is always a Divine Provision for Harmony and Equity. The Elders say is is good and worthy to carry out an Initiation for our Self. We may be alone in a realm of physicality, though our Grandfathers and Grandmothers are always waiting for us to call on them and the Light of a Divine Agency.

It is always worthy to ask for permission when we perform our rituals and sacred ceremonies, and to share our Intention to carry them out in a good and worthy way.

We are offered the Unconditional Love and the Sacred Right of Choice to carry out our rituals in our own ways. The Elders say that the traditional ways passed down are the proven and worthy tools we are given to use until we conceive the ways that will be our own. Honoring the old ways, we invite the Wisdom shared through the Circle of Life. May a new Life and a New World of Beauty be born from the ashes of our past.  AHO!

8 Monkey/CHUEN (Cherokee, Raccoon/KVH’LI)

Galactic Tone 8:  Justice. Harmony and balance are the intent of Eights carefully weighs all evidence to reach a balance of justice. Eight is the power of organization demonstrated in the statement ‘as above, so below,’ from simplicity to infinity, the energy of eight organizes all levels of creation, some eights are ‘neat freaks.’

Monkey/CHUEN: Monkey is known to the Maya as the Weaver or Weaver of Time. Monkey takes ideas as threads of vines and weaves them into the fabric of our reality. New patterns or inventions are also woven into our lives by Monkey. Amiable, intelligent, generous and a jack of all trades, Monkey’s innocent curiosity leads to artistic expression and constructive solutions. Many Monkeys become highly respected merchants or speakers. They love performing practical jokes and crave attention, so much so that they may over-act or play the fool to get the spotlight. Monkeys have a short attention span and find it difficult to stay with anything long enough to master it.

Cherokee, Raccoon/KVH’LI: Star Symbol: Algol, a star in Perseus. Restless energy yearning for long-lost love. Algol was named DEMON STAR or MISCHIEVOUS ONE by the Ancients because it winks and fades at times. Raccoons are full of friendly mischief, eager to swap kisses for candy; magnetic leaders, full of humor and gaiety. Favorite food is corn, the mainstay of the Cherokee. Very artistic while being the “masked bandit” who steals your heart.

By providing the original text, I hope to offer a way to see what inspired my thoughts and by including all the aspects – allow for something more to inspire you. Mayan descriptions are those written by Ian Lungold. Cherokee descriptions came from multiple sources.
