Greetings Kin,

Tone 12 engages Human’s faculty of Comprehension. Disassociated pieces of Truth are drawn into a new and meaningful whole. Tone 12 ties together the Wisdom of the Whole Experience. Every Dream we carry forward by Intention has a Life of its own, the story of its first inspiration, the challenge, and what we learned by the end.

When we reach for the Unknown beyond Human limitation, we’ll always face a challenge. We have to change something from the start. Only, we don’t know what it is. Every first step into the Unknown is a Leap of Faith that we’ll learn along the way. It’s hard to keep the Unknown Future in Context, relevant to the experience Here and Now when Love can feel like a matter of “life or death.”

Deer/MANIK is the one that holds all the Spiritual Tools to stand on the Truth that matters to our Heart. The Deer’s way is Vigilant Consciousness, as a symbol of Stability with a leg to plant in each of the 4 directions. MANIK employs the ways and means to Remember the Truth along the way.

MANIK is the Day Sign of the Mayan priest, a life dedicated to the path of Beauty on behalf of the Whole. The priest is a living demonstration of Faith with the Pillars to stand. The Mayan priest doesn’t attempt to model “the perfect Human  Being,” or to lay down any rules. The path is narrow and straight, dedicating each step to the Truth shared from Above.

Holding the Element of Water, MANIK speaks through the Heart. The Mayan priest uses Holy Water for Blessings, Purifications, Initiations, and the Baptism of Spirit. We are called by the Heart to follow. MANIK holds the Power of Harmonic Resonance. Dedicating Life to the Mission of Unconditional Love and the Acceptance of the Whole, MANIK offers a Reason to follow the one that acknowledges the Light of the Whole. We are drawn to follow the One that can see their way through the dark. When all hope is lost, we remember a place of Sanctuary.

 

Deer/MANIK offers the Truth that can stand its ground. Love is an investment we don’t forget. MANIK upholds the Truth of Belonging in our Time and Place. The Deer doesn’t defend the Truth. Through Vigilant Consciousness the Deer allows the Truth to speak for itself.

MANIK can still the waters of our Human emotions. The Deer holds one special tool to turn away every fear – the Truth of a Divine Provision for every Human limitation. We are empowered by 5. The Staff of Truth holds the Power to stand through every storm. MANIK is dedicated to the Truth that the Divine Way of Love always leads to the Answer to our Prayers. No one has to believe what we believe to be drawn to a place that shines a Light of Divine Understanding.

In every herd of Deer, there is One Dedicated to the Purpose of Vigilant Consciousness. The Deer has a perfect vantage point to see the Truth all around, except for the place directly behind. We are guided to stand with the Highest Truth at our back. There’s a hunter’s myth for the Deer that takes an arrow to the heart, though never found in the spot. The mystery was attributed to a hollow place high in the chest, where an arrow can pass right through.

The path of beauty can be a lonely road when no one understands. The Deer understands that for all our declarations of Love and Intention, we can still forget, yet so can  we always Remember that Love is Truth that takes Time. When we try to force Time and Love, we only prove Love that can’t wait for someone else to know in their Time and in their own way. Our own prayers on behalf of the whole, raises our own faith to believe. The Deer’s Gift is to Remember. We’re drawn to Love that Remembers how many times we ask for One More Chance to create Love that someone will Remember.

It’s hard to stay on our own path, when we long to be united as One. Human’s doubts and fears can feel like “life or death” when we forget the way. Vigilant Consciousness is the Only Way to see the “reality” of our doubts and fears. Am I the only one who compromised myself, loving who somebody could be in the future? I thought I was Loving, giving the benefit of the doubt. It’s hard to want to look, but I expect the Truth was clear on the other side. “I don’t love the way you are now.” (So, who was I loving?) If you have the curiosity of a monkey, and a sense of humor, we can heal with Laughter what we can’t bear to see through our tears. We don’t need to rehash the details when  our Heart is open to the Truth of our own limitation.

The Deer is the symbol of One Place we know we can always turn, if the Dream of a Higher One is True. Salvation is the Divine Provision for every limitation we claim is the Truth. The Deer will take an arrow for the Truth that Heals the Heart.

Tone 12 offers the Gift of Retrospection. At an altar we remember the Miracles of Love we’ve known before. We remember Love that always has our back. It means everything to Human’s Heart to know there’s One who can still see the Light in us, knowing the Truth of our limitations. We try to prove we’re perfect, beyond needing anyone or anything for the Strength to Stand. The Truth will never stand and we Know Better, no matter how much a Human Being might try to believe it’s possible. We have to walk our own path alone, but the meaning and purpose it to show the way has to be our own path.

I knew I was choosing the Right Path for me when “Beautiful Painted Arrow” explained the way as our own creation. He said, “Don’t try to emulate me. Create your own myths.” We can never rely on someone else’s Truth. On Tone 12 we Understand how Truth has to be our own Realization. We can recite doctrine by verse and creed, reading words given by someone else. Yet, I wonder who has recited the creed that didn’t wonder “Do I believe?” The problem with Rules for Believing is that there is no accounting for Time or personal experience. The only Truth that will stand is the  Truth we Feel in our Heart.

Knowing our Feelings is the only way to get down to the Truth. Our Feelings don’t always reflect the Truth of “reality,” though the Truth we share from the Heart is the Truth of how it feels. We are Human Beings and Feelings are the Only way to Know the Truth. Sometimes we have to hear our self speak to hear our own fact from fiction. We have to Be who we are to see the Higher Way we are Becoming.

To all my relations, may we Count our Blessings for Truth that can reach our Heart. Love is the Reason why the Truth finally matters enough to reach the Heart. Praying on behalf of the Whole, we create the Love for the Pack. Taking up a dedicated path, we realize how lost we were without a way to Remember.

When we look around and every heart feels like a closed door, unable to See or Feel the Truth we Know is worthy, there’s a place Our Love and Our Way to Express the Truth will always belong. The One Above doesn’t lean on the words of Love, but the Truth of Love that carries on.

May we claim Love that can cover all our Human limitations, and stand behind us no matter how we fall. When no one Understands, may we take up the Mission on behalf of the Whole. May we stand on the Power of Truth and Love to bear the tests of Time. May we turn to the One that can Seal the Truth in our Heart, like the Seed holds the Imperishable Truth and the Way that leads us out of the darkness into Truth of Light Above.

12 Deer (Hand)/MANIK, (Cherokee Deer Ahwu’sdi)

Galactic Tone 12: Twelve is a gift of great capacity of retrospection. It is this ability that allows Twelve to connect disassociated parts into a (new) functioning whole. The energy of Twelve is that which presents a new piece of understood information or accumulated experience to be applied.

Deer/MANIK (Hand): Deer are spirit tools. Silence itself is a spiritual experience for Deer. For Deer life is a pilgrimage. Deer are dominant persons who defend the people and will make sacrifices for others. The spirit of Deer upholds the pillars of the four directions. With the power inherent in the number four, Deer pushes away bad influences or negative energies. Skill and quality of work are very important to Deer. They are presented with tools for every task in life and it is with these that they are able to rise above limitations. Deer has a habit of keeping every tool it has ever used. This leads to clutter and indecision, loss and procrastination. When confronted with promises not kept, Deer becomes stubborn, manipulative and evasive.

Cherokee, Deer/Ahwu’sdi: Symbolized by Constellation Galagina, the Stag, known as Taurus, the Bull. It does not include the Pleiades and Hyades clusters which in Cherokee are viewed as separate. To feed, gatherers of food and supplies, they enjoy rituals, ceremonials, feasts, the souls of hospitality, sociability. Freedom versus security issues often inspire leadership and unique solutions.  Combined with artistic and inspiring energies in harmony with lunar cycles, they nourish the clans. Totem-Deer:  A priest or shaman, a powerful person in general, to overwhelm an individual with one’s personal power, divination; inclined to become a teacher, healer, guru, civic leader, or politician.  Ability to create harmonic resonance.
