4 Serpent / CHICCHAN – Breath of Life and Spirit: Day 4 of 13

THE TRECENA OF WIND/IK: DISSEMINATION OF THE SEED

MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

4 Serpent/CHICCHAN

Greetings Beloved Kin,

Tone 4 raises the Intention of Stability. Tone 4 represents the cube, the most stable of all forms. On Tone 4 we establish the boundaries and parameters that will define a dimension of thoughts. To  build the pillars for Faith in our Dream, we can define the “rules of the game.

We choose in advance, which thoughts we’ll follow, and thoughts we’ll turn away. Knowing our Self,  we can expect that we’ll forget.  With a plan, we’ll Remember where to turn.

Serpent/CHICCHAN is the Light of Kulkulkan/Quetzalcoat, the Feathered Serpent. CHICCHAN is the Light of Truth that descends from Above. CHICCHAN is the Spark that lights the fuse to ignite the Force of Life. Light is shared as a Question that is Answered by our Heart.  CHICCHAN shares the gift of “lightning in the blood.”

CHICCHAN is Human’s Divine Gift for Knowing, the Maya call the Sixth Sense of the Heart. CHICCHAN relates to Kundalini energy that rises from the root to the crown, leaving goosebumps, and hair standing on end. CHICCHAN is a COMMON feeling that takes charge of our Consciousness in the moment.

The Serpent offers a Brighter Light from Above to “clearly see” the Truth of the Whole. CHICCHAN is the Source of the Spark in the Seed. CHICCHAN is a Force that captures our attention as a sense of danger, or an overwhelming sense of joy in the moment. The Snake “sees” its prey by feeling the vibration of its Movement through Mother Earth. We can feel the Vibration of the Intention. When we walk into a room we have a sense “what’s going on.” “What’s going on with us” is the Force that announces every entrance we make.

GLOBAL BURNER DAY: 4 SERPENT/CHICCHAN

On Global Burner Days the Maya priest carries out the Sacred Fire Ceremony on behalf of the whole. The Intention is to restore Right Relationship in the Community. There are 4 Global Burners, one at the Center of each Season of the Tzolk’in. They mark a release of residual energy. Each Season is a Transformation of Life with its own Higher Intention for Becoming. The One Above can clear out thoughts to focus on the Higher Truth. Old matters are resolved, and burned away. 4 Serpent/CHICCHAN shares the Feeling of Knowing that “we will be Moved by the One Above.

CHICCHAN resides in the East, the Light of a New Way of Being and the Divine Dream that will be created by the Truth. The Element of Fire holds the Power of Transmutation, to burn Human matters away. CHICCHAN guides us to pay attention to our gut instincts and intuition. Guided by CHICCHAN, we’ll know it’s the Truth.

The Snake helps us shed our skin.  We’ll expand and grow through greater sensitivity of  our surroundings. We will be guided by Feelings and Intentions of the Truth that’s held inside. The Snake teaches us to be fluid and flexible. When we are backed into a corner, CHICCHAN is a Serpent that will strike on our behalf. We may speak the Truth before we have a  chance to think twice. “The blood speaks”  when our face turns red. If you spoke the Truth, don’t “take it back.” Let the Truth speak for itself. There’s a Divine Reason the words were spoken. The bests thing to do is to retreat in Peace for time to think, and know what it means. We don’t have to  speak for our self, when the One Above intends for the Truth to be known.

We can call on the Divine Power of CHICCHAN to speak as the Voice of our Spirit. If you face a situation where you’re unsure of what to say, you can ask for CHICCHAN to share the Truth beyond the words. If you have to ask for a favor or a loan at the bank,  turn the words you speak to be spoken by the One Above. Serpent/CHICCHAN is the Divine Provision for times when we can’s see by Human reason.

We are FREE to choose Love. The Duty of the Mother is to stand upon her Heart’s Discernment of Divine Love. No one has to choose it. A Father of  Authority stands behind the Mother to Enforce the Will of Divine Discernment. A Divine Mother’s Heart shares the Highest Truth for the Whole.

CHICCHAN can guide us when we can’t figure out the Wise thing to Do or Say. CHICCHAN can speak the Truth from our Heart in the moment, when we’re on the spot.

To all  my relations, may we give thanks we can be guided from Above.  It’s wise to Listen before we speak, and to think more than once. It doesn’t always happen that way in real life. The best answer seems to come as soon as we walk away. That’s a sacrifice we make to know the Truth that matters to our heart.

May we give thanks for Feelings that help us Know our own Truth within. The cost that Human bears to know the Truth only multiplies the Value of a Sacred offering. May we bear the Truth at all costs when it speaks for itself, and be Humbled by the Power of the Spoken Truth.

in lak’ech, i am another you

HONORING THE ELEMENT OF FIRE
We Honor the Fire when we Consciously give it a Life. In the traditional way, the tobacco of our prayers was offered to the Fire from the Left Hand. Joseph Rael offered the Vision of the 20 pieces of wood, stacked in the 4 directions. The Fire Ceremony Page offers the same tradition that can be carried out indoors with wooden matches.

4 Serpent/CHICCHAN (Cherokee, Serpent/DO’TSI)

Galactic Tone 4: Stability; the cube is most stable of all forms and establishes volume by definition of height, length, depth and breadth; 4 directions establish orientation. The energy of 4 sets the parameters, which establish the freedoms and barriers needed to create a game, work, or relationship.

Serpent/CHICCHAN: Movement and the creation of time. Sensual and dramatic, this sun sign embodies intense instinctual wisdom and creates a connection from Earth bound, to Heavenly aspirations. By sincere service to others, Serpent opens and expands its heart. Serpent aligns authority and the truth to bring justice that is quick and sure. Serpents are very adaptable, even fluid until trapped in a corner, and then they explode. Serpents, venomous temper poisons itself as well as others by creating resentful, suppressive and even destructive attitudes.

Cherokee, Serpent/DO’TSI: Serpent’s symbol is Constellation Serpens. Serpent people are Sky people who come to earth periodically as Educators. As above-So below, on Earth the Serpent is the roots of the tree of knowledge. Serpent power is vital energy, the moving force, the instinct and desire for creativity, the trigger that sets off the action. It lights the fuse that magnifies and explodes the life force itself. Knowledge, combining science, technology and psychology, plus spirituality are seeded on the planet.

[Text in italics was the primary source of inspiration for my journal. These are the sources that started my journey and they are the reference for interpretation each day. By providing the original text, I hope to offer a way to see what inspired my thoughts and by including all the aspects – allow for something more to inspire you. Mayan descriptions are those written by Ian Lungold. Cherokee descriptions came from multiple sources.
