Greetings Beloved Kin,

The myth of the mystic ferryman plays a role in many traditions. By Greek myth, Charon is the name of one that carries the souls of the dead to the underworld. There is fare to pay to cross the great divide. An earlier reference comes from the Egyptians who buried the boat in the tombs of the Pharaohs. The name as written means, “Who sees behind him.”

 

The Owl is the nahaul of the Mayan tradition as one with the vision to see in the dark and can turn it’s head to see behind. The important Truth shared by CIB is that our own past is an archeological treasure that leads the way to our future. Only Human holds the gift to re-live everything that’s gone before and choose a new way for the future. The owl holds the vision of the Eagle in the darkness and the light.

Mourning the past is a Divine thing when we see it clearly. If we looked to the choices we made before, we can claim what we would never choose again for the future of our dreams. Our misery all lies in the past. It’s Our choice, whether we turn to see the whole truth to Know the new choices that are afforded to us for the rest of our life.

We can stay in the same boat if misery is where we want to be. We can relive it over and over in our own hell on earth. Or, we can see “it’s over” and the future will be bright for the unlimited choices we can make in the future.

The Elders called the experience of this dark passage “contractions” that is a voyage through the birth canal. Sorrow is the only way to change the future. If we don’t pay the fare, we will keep on making the same choices until we do.

The Element of Fire is the burning within that we can’t put out until it’s run it’s course. We try to run away from the feelings, but when we do the Fire will continue to burn, and hotter than before. Fire holds the power of transmutation to burn away the substance of matter. When we are willing to feel it, we won’t  wait like the frog for the water to boil before we jump out. The owl holds the vision to see the Truth we hide from our self, the cause and effect we don’t want to see when the Truth comes down to our own choice. No one made us do it – a choice that ended in our own misery. Forgiveness IS the only way to finally leave the past behind us. It’s a Divine Gift that we hold the power to put an end to all matters and carry on to the light of tomorrow.

It has to be better than what we knew before, when we Know ANYTHING new. We will make wiser choices when we Remember the past, for the Truth of knowing another way, and we are choosing it. We will fail again, but at least it will be a new failure, instead of the same old end. 🙂 That’s life, and the Truth of the Wisdom that will lead new our way.

The Time represents the Seed’s journey to the Light, reaching beyond the gravity that holds us down. Through the darkness we are born into the Light of Wisdom. I feel like I’m failing when I have a “fall-apart” day. Though, that’s the only way to see clearly to claim a wise choice for the future.

This is a Divine Time for mourning, while the Tzolkin human calendar is perfectly in sync with Earth’s Time for the Lion’s Gate. We don’t have to carry the past into the future, if we pay the fare of forgiveness. If we see clearly, we all screwed up. The good news is that “we didn’t know what we were doing.” We saw the difference between foolish and wise choices. But, we never imagined how the cause would effect an end. We can know a stove is hot, but we REALLY don’t know what that means until we’ve made direct contact.

May we mourn what we put our self through in the past and how hard the lessons were to learn. May our sorrow be replaced JOY of claiming that now that we DO see, we will never claim it again. We know where it ends. And the past can end here and now, when we claim the Choice we will make in the future. We don’t have to be perfect while we learn how. The Intention of our Heart will guide us and keep us safe, when we ASK for Divine Guidance from Above. We don’t have to think very long to know if God Answers prayers, the answer to our prayers for a Divine Future is the Highest Priority for becoming.

May we celebrate the Lion’s Gate – a door opened wide and the Light of Wisdom that is reflected as a Truth on every scale. The Universe holds the Truth on the highest scale for us to see what we can’t see – the future. Yet we CAN see it will NOT be like the past. We can claim something brand new. And, it will be better than the past. At least, it will be different from the past. The Monkey/CHUEN who creates from the gift of Consciousness, can help us see that “one darn thing after another” is the Greatest Blessing of a Divine Genius, as long as we keep leaving the past behind.

Forgive everything that happened before. We were all making choices before we knew the end. Turn to packing your suitcase for a new ride of your life to places you’ve never known before. ASK the One to steer your thoughts to the most beautiful place you want to go. Help, Truth, and a Higher Light is on the way. All we have to do is step from the past into the future. Pray that we can all see the Light just the same. We can ALWAYS ask for Divine help to forgive, and never forget.

10 Wisdom/CIB (Cherokee, Owl U’GUKU’)

Galactic Tone 10: Manifestation. What were once intentions or ideas, hopes or fears become physically present with the energy of Ten. What is focused upon with attention and intention becomes real with Ten. Ten is a powerful energy that carries a great responsibility.

Wisdom/CIB: The old ones. Wisdom of the ancients. Wisdom persons are aligned with the ancient memories that wait in the stone of temples and sacred sites all over the world. Wisdom people grow luck like a crop using a balance of prudence and tenacity. The tremendous inner strength of this sign enables silent introspection to discover areas of oneself that contain wisdom more valuable than any trove of archaeological treasure. Wisdom persons are valiant defenders of family and community. They may become hardened to life and sentiment turned cold. In these cases, they need much forgiveness for their uncaring errors. Periodically connecting with nature and or visiting sacred sites will bring great stability to wisdom persons. A good day to sit on a rock.

Cherokee, Owl U’GUKU’ : Symbol is the Owl is Arcturus, the brightest Star in the Constellation Bootes. The Cherokee Bear constellation (Ursa Major) includes the Big Dipper plus four stars in Bootes.  Owl is a hunter, who stands for the wisdom and ability of all great hunters, the cunning of a fox, the tenacity of a bulldog and strength of a bear. Energy for deep thinkers, strong-willed, rigid convictions, bold and authoritative.  Owl is the Mystic Ferryman who guides Earthlings on the return path to the stars holding the torch aloft.
