Greetings Beloved Kin,

IMIX (ee meesh) is all about wild ideas that come in random order out-of-the-blue, and 11 (related to the year 11 Deer/MANIK) is about the Divine Inspiration we can count on when we’ve dedicated a path that leads to the altar of Divine Communion. I had a wild idea this week that led me on a journey of synchronicity. It seemed worthy to share as an example with you.

 

I’ve had random thoughts about decorations for the Christmas holidays, and for some reason Juniper bows came to mind. I looked at the properties to find it’s a holistic treatment for respiratory benefits.  So, I ordered some fresh bows, and some essential oil. Then I came across a YouTube video (google probably did that from my searches). It was a documentary regarding the ancient way of rendering the oil, as it was done in Greece. It was an all-day process to render oil without setting the pile of wood chips on fire. They used it as a respiratory medicine, and also spread  it around the stables because the  juniper oil also turned snakes from crossing the boundary. 

After the evening of entertainment, the last synchronicity was that Juniper was the smudge used to turn away evil Spirits at Halloween (Samhain in the Celtic religion). My ancient ancestors must have been familiar with it. I wondered what the odds were of looking for Christmas decorations, then following this trail that brought Juniper in the house in time for Halloween. 

I don’t need any dark spirits from the “other side” crossing the threshold of my thoughts, or the living ones on this side. There are children in the neighborhood, so my bowl of candy is as far as I’m prepared to go. 

I’d rather shoo dark thoughts away to prepare for the Divine Inspiration of our Beloved Ancestors on All Saints Day. I believe because I think it’s a Common Dream – we all hope that we’ll be remembered after we’re gone. Common thoughts we all have are the Sign of Divine Design. I was inspired by Dina Brodsky’s artwork of pleasantly creepy trees, and decided to use them for a Halloween share. Her inspiration for art is welcome here. I want to paint some trees.

Born in Minsk, Belarus, Brodsky moved to the USA in 1991^[4] and grew up in Brookline, Massachusetts. She studied at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, before earning her MFA at the New York Academy of Art. She currently lives in New York City.^[5] In addition to being an artist and curating, she has taught privately, and in several institutions, the Brookline Center for the Arts and the Metropolitan Museum of Art.^[6] (Wikipedia)

She specializes in miniature works, often using old books for canvas. I like the idea that artwork doesn’t have to be large-scale to make an impression or to offer inspiration. And, she has the credentials of someone who knows what she’s doing and spends time in an intention to pass it on. The first image inspired me to track her down.

So, I’ll be using Juniper to smudge the house for it’s dual properties of respiratory therapy, plus keeping any snakes, living or dead, from trying to cross into the boundary of my Divine Thoughts for tomorrow. Maybe the essential oil will show up from Amazon today. I’m due to get the winter flu shot, ,so it can’t hurt anything to try it the old way. 

The Jaguar’s Magic of Gratitude: I’m grateful for so many things there are to be inspired about from Mother Earth, and old ways passed down as wisdom from the old ones. I ASK the Highest One that the Internet could be used for more divine purposes than as a portal for evil to pass into our homes and families. I hope Eli Musk will be divinely inspired to lead Twitter in a good direction. I’m tired of negative shares that only tell us who we should be hating on today.

FYI – The tall straight single trunk Juniper bushes are the Masculine, and the short muluti-branch squatty ones are the Feminine (that figures). The Feminine are the only ones that can be used to harvest Juniper Oil. 

We’re guided to use our Good Sense and Reason for Halloween. Turn your back to any negative “vibes” and “snakes” that like to cross your boundaries. Keep your eyes forward toward All Saints Day, and Count your Blessings for the Divine Wisdom our Beloved Ancestors have already shared from Above, in our Family Circle, and through our Tree of Life.

Who knew those old mathematicians were such pagans, and so many of us are still using their pagan symbols every day. 🙂 
Scientists have discerned that the unconscious mind doesn’t understand words/language, but it does understand symbols. Symbols make us think of an experience or a story our unconscious mind relates to as an experience of thought. 

 

4 Crocodile/IMIX (Cherokee Turtle/ DAK’SI   I’SB)

Galactic Tone 4: Stability; the cube is most stable of all forms and establishes volume by definition of height, length, depth and breadth; 4 directions establish orientation. The energy of 4 sets the parameters, which establish the freedoms and barriers needed to create a game, work, or relationship.

Crocodile/IMIX: Crocodile receives messages of primal creative force; simply the beginning of all things. Crocodiles who follow their hearts are seen as genius. There is no order to the primal messages, so Crocodile persons should direct their energies toward practical and cooperative efforts to bring productive results. Crocodiles have a strong nurturing energy and will work hard to provide security to family and friends. Being extremely territorial, Crocodiles must watch not to be over protective or too dominating. While in these states, Crocodiles are insecure, indecisive and emotionally volatile.

Cherokee Turtle/ DAK’SI   I’SB: Turtle Island; direction East. The Turtle Constellation Orion, one of three stars in the Cosmic Egg, to the Maya, the Cosmic Hearth. Turtle is the Energy of Creative force at the one-on-one, personal level; dawn, awakening, birth.
