THE TRECENA OF DOG/OC: A JOURNEY TO LOVE
MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL
1 Dog/OC (auk), Destiny Kin 170
December 19, 2022, 12/19/2022
Greetings Beloved Kin,

1 Dog / OC
The trecena of Dog/OC represents a cycle of “darkness.” White and Yellow Day Signs represent the Truth that was offered at our Ascension to know as a Human experience in the down below. It’s one thing to know the Truth and the Way, and another to learn how to apply it to grasp the wisdom of experience.
MULUC offered us a Higher Reason to Love the whole as Offering, as a Mission and a Sacrifice on behalf of the One who Answers all our Prayers. I just read the news. It sounded easier in theory than it looks. Luckily, wherever the Dog goes, the Monkey/CHUEN comes along. Our Salvation may be a sense of humor. Tears come easier when I see the darkness all around.
Cold weather is moving in and I’m worried about the overgrown BIG puppy next door, left out in the cold, while the cute little Yorkshire puppy, brought home at the same time, gets the luxury of living inside. “Dog” seems to have been given the job of guard dog who barks when I step outside, and not in a friendly way. So, the message is to keep my distance. I’m turning a large packing box into an insulated dog house, I hope they will accept as an offering. I need a Monkey/CHUEN in the worst way. Pray for man’s best friend. He’s just a puppy, but they must have “bitten off more than they could chew.”
That’s the way it is with me. I was compelled to share it… one of those weird dog gifts, I guess. Sometimes Love hurts and that’s the sacrifice. With Faith in the One Above, we’ll be guided by the Master of Love. On Tone 1 we begin from a state of inertia. It sounds like a good day to take care of our self, and remember in the darkness, there’s always a brighter tomorrow.
The Next 13 Days…
Dog/OC is a symbol of Unconditional Love and the Consciousness that Love is everywhere. With the help of the Dog, we’ll dig for the treasure and never give up until we find it. The Dog lives for the next Opportunity to Love. Dog/OC holds position 10, a symbol of a Whole investment of the Heart. Monkey/CHUEN holds position 11, the Genius of Divine Inspiration to manifest the Beauty of Life. Together, they begin the journey from the “top of the pyramid” in the 9th uinal. We’re intended to be patient, and to remember the big picture. There’s a Divine Meaning and Purpose for every experience.
GUARDIAN OF THE TRECENA:
13 Wind/IK is the end promised from the beginning. Dog/OC holds the Element of Air that relates to the faculties of thought. The Creator’s Spoken words of a Promise hold the Power to Change our Mind. In the end we’ll see beyond the “impossible” to Know that every Promise spoken by the Highest One is the Truth.
THE 9TH UINAL:
The buds are on our Tree of Life. There’s evidence of the New Life that is rising within. The 9th Uinal intends the Patience to see a Bigger Picture. 9 holds the Power of Completion by the Power of the Holy, Holy, Holy.
HOLY DAY: Day of Awareness
8 Earth/CABAN falls on December 26, 2020, observed by the Maya as the Day of Awareness. The K’iche day sign for CABAN is N’oj, the messenger sent by the Highest One to offer Higher Wisdom to Humanity. The Sun will move us to Higher Ground after the Winter Solstice, raising Higher Hopes for the Spring. The Day of Awareness is Time ordered to celebrate the gifts of our Intellect, Imagination, and the Consciousness of Truth and Divine Inspiration. The clarion call to Move with all our heart will be exalted on Tone 8 in the zenith hour of Light.
PEAK TONES: PEAK EXPERIENCES
- 6 Eagle/MEN – a New Momentum of Love will raise the Vision of Love we see in our future
- 7 Wisdom/CIB – will claim the Wisdom of Love, seeing all that is and all that is not, when the Key of Forgiveness opens the door to the Divine Power of Human Love
- 8 Earth/CABAN – returning to her zenith position, we’ll be transformed by the direct transmission of Compassionate Love, Knowing the Truth that every Human was conceived by a Mother who Knew ALL our Inherent Possibilities to Love
- 9 Flint/ETZNAB – will Complete the Truth of Love as it is seen from a Higher Perspective. Our most important Truth will be that the Creator’s Love is the Light that made the Earth move so we would revolve in a never-ending circle of Love.
MASTER NUMBER 99: The 9th Tone in the 9th uinal reflects the Master Number 99. 9 Flint/ETZNAB delivers the unexpected Truth that was hidden to sweep our last doubts and fears away. Number 9 resonates with the Universal Spiritual Laws, including Cause and Effect. Number 9 represents a Whole Investment from the “lower place” that manifests the One in the “higher place.” Number 9 denotes a conclusion and the Higher Wisdom for a New Beginning. Number 9 clears a way to pursue your Life’s Mission as your Soul’s Destiny.
We were raised by our Mother to complete the Human Work of Love. She shared the Passion from her Heart that carries on for ALL Lives on Earth. We were raised to Look for Love and expect to find it everywhere. Love Will Be when we dedicate our Self to Be The One.

It sounds like a sacrifice, but we get to be the Dog. To Heal the Whole, The Dog can teach us to bear the injustice of Human limitations. Our Heart will be convicted by the Wisdom of Divine Agency. Dog/OC will guide us to be faithful to the end. The Dog is also the protector that will put up a fight to save it’s Master.
There’s something we Love that we should investigate to learn something new. It’s Time to pursue the things we Love to Do.
To all my relations, may we call on a Divine Agency to lead the way of Love. May we LOVE OUR SELF and use the Patience of 9 to “stand in our own corner.” May we dedicate our self to Love on behalf of the whole, and depend on the Hand Above to guide us through.
in lak’ech, I am another you

SAME TIME, SAME PLACE, BEFORE
My journal notes I had animals on my mind on this same kin before. I’ll take it as a sign to remember ALL life in the Natural World and to remember dark days come and go. We’re lucky that we can be a pack of dogs in the realm of Spirit.
“I’ve been on lockdown since March. The grocery store is my nearest physical destination for Love. My cat, Shadow, has been the primary object of my affection. Lately, it’s been hard to see beyond a sad state of affairs, and I’m counting on the Dog to turn it around. I can start by telling you how much it means to share the time with you. I didn’t expect to find you when I started here. You are the unexpected Answer to a Prayer. There IS another new life waiting, and the Dog can lead us there.”
The Jaguar’s Magic of Gratitude: I’m glad that the Dog can always find the way home.

NEW SEASON – VOLUME 2: Tzolk’in Seasons 3 and 4 (PUBLISHED SEPTEMBER 20, 2020)
1 Dog/OC (Cherokee, Wolf/ KANA’TI)
Galactic Tone 1: Unity. One is the beginning of all things, the first, the whole and the all in one. One’s are assertive and self-guided and give a good push to whatever project they are associated with.
Dog/OC: Loyalty and faithfulness that survives beyond death. This was the first day of creation energy in this 4th world, setting the energy for love, loyalty and faithfulness on the 5200 year cycle. Heart chakra energy is involved so that we can move to the state of “unconditional love” with compassion. All sexual desire issues that are not in harmony will surface to be cleared.
Cherokee, Wolf/Kana’ti – O’Oj: Dog/OC is a symbol of Sirius (Dog star) and Antares; one or the other is always visible but never at the same time. Wolf is our brother, shares our very roots. All dogs are domesticated wolves, companionship and guidance; connecting a link between the worlds; wolf is the day sign associated with teachers, pathfinders and transformers.
