2 Deer / MANIK
Greetings Beloved Kin,
Deer/MANIK is the Destiny of the Mayan priest. “Hand” is another name for MANIK, as the symbol of Human’s Hand below, that was created to serve a Hand above. The Deer’s Mission is the dedicated path to a Life that will forever manifest a Divine Meaning and Purpose for every one.
There can be no Peace on Earth until we stand on behalf of the whole. There is no family where the whole is not united as one. The Love of One over another divides the whole. Reed/BEN was the Guiding Light for the Truth we learned before, the Only Way that shares the Truth of Answered Prayers. Deer/MANIK guides us to follow a dedicated path that leads to an altar.
The glyph illustrates a Human Hand that grasps a thread of plasma, a Light that completes a Divine circuit of Power between the down-below and the up-above. The circle on the Hand symbolizes the Vigilant Eye of the Deer. Thee Deer is faithful to watch over the whole. It uses every faculty of its vision to see all-around. The Deer focuses on the Whole Picture to detect the first sign of Movement, the same way a pilot watches the sky.
Tone 2 is Human’s side of a Divine Communion of thoughts. When our hearts are forged to a Higher Power, greater than our self, we can see beyond one way or another and the Truth all around. Holding Faith in a Higher One, at an altar we remember to look in 7 directions, the 4 all around, the Above and the Below, and the Divine Truth that is written within.

Deer/MANIK holds position 7 in the order of the “lords of the Day.” Number 7 is a symbol of Human’s power to create our own reality, and the “great law” of Creation, “As Above, So Below.” It means that whatever we create on one plane of Consciousness will be manifested in all others. Number 7 is the Maya’s symbol for the top of the pyramid, where Human can see “all that is” and “all that is not.” The top of the pyramid reflects Human’s limit, as far as we can go, and as High as we can see. In and of our self, we don’t hold the power to manifest the perfect change. We always fall short by Human limitation, when we forget that Love is the end we were reaching for from the every beginning.
I can’t bear the thought of hunting and killing Deer, though I know life that carries on is an endless food chain of one life sacrificed for another. A hunter once told me that the lungs of the Deer are spotless and pure. The same must be true for most every creation that lives in the wild, at least, when they are far enough away from the effects of Human’s pollution of the planet. The Deer is a symbol of purity and stability that draws the Sacred Breath of Life and the Breath of Spirit, drawing it from the Up Above to share in the Down Below.
MANIK holds the Element of Water that represents the Moon and speaks to us through the Feelings in our Heart. From Human’s limited view of the future, and the Deer’s Vigilance to see the Truth, our hearts can be broken when we remember everything a Divine Creator intended for the Beauty that was created in the Down Below.
What we can experience as “a very bad thing” are the Feelings that come with a broken heart. Yet, when our hearts are broken we are finally opened to receive the Gift of Living Water. The astrology forecasts shared a Grand Cross as a challenge of “fixed thoughts and opinions,” that’s been followed by aspects governed by the Element of Water. We may Feel our emotions more acutely at this time. No Human likes to be broken, yet, that’s the only way to Heal – when we’re finally willing to look to see the Truth at any cost to our Ego. That’s when we’re drawn to our knees in humility.
The Mission of the Mayan priest is to help the whole remember the place where Love is sweet and where possibilities are endlessly multiplied by prayers of Divine Trinity. The Mayan priest isn’t a preacher, but one that counts the Days and carries out the rituals and sacred ceremonies on behalf of the whole as ordered by the calendar. The Deer shares a Gift of Harmonic Resonance. The Deer’s pure vibration of Unconditional Love draws lower vibrations into sympathy. When the Maya see the smoke and smell the fragrance of copal in the air, they know the Mayan priest is praying for the whole. When we know someone is praying for us, we’re inclined to Listen and take in the words from someone who holds Faith in the Answer to their prayers. We’re also inclined to listen to another Human when they share their authentic Truth straight from the heart.
The Deer’s way is to stand in silence without defense of the Truth. The Truth is that the Humans who “don’t understand” us, don’t hold the Intention to look to see the facts that make Common Sense. The Deer trusts the One of the Highest Authority to speak and stand on the Truth that when the Time is right to know, the Truth will speak for itself. (Who would listen to us, if we stood on a soapbox and preached to the whole that “love is the answer?” It’s Common Sense that some don’t have any interest to hear when they’re caught up in the Ego’s discernment of “right” and “wrong.”)
Every Heart is drawn to listen when the Truth is Spoken by the One Above. The Voice of the Creator can generate the Loudest Sounds on the planet.
May 25 (05/25) multiplies the power of the Number 5, a symbol of Empowerment as the value of Human’s hand. Our Hand of Love is multiplied at least 5 times by the Power of the Hand Above. (Our two hands are multiplied by an exponential factor of 10.)
A spot of rain and thunder…
In my little corner of the world near the center of the USA, a thundercloud hovered today with the blessing of rain. I could FEEL the Sound of Thunder reverberating within. I think I’ve figured out that the fluctuation of weight gained overnight is the matter of water retention. I’ve been drinking lots of water. I remember a time before when I was drinking a gallon a day and one effect was that when I listened to music while driving the car, it was a tangible experience of vibration. All the Divine Signs are pointing to water as the means to heal the sorrows of a broken heart. Our tears are Holy Water and the “shadow work” we have to bear to move beyond the sorrows of yesterday.
We’re all being filled up for a Divine breakthrough that’s on the way. We’ll find the strength to stand on 4 Offering/MULUC, the “lord of the Day” that can heal Human hearts on a Mass Scale.
May we prepare our Heart’s Now for the Blessing that lies in our future. May we see and acknowledge the Divine Blessing of water and pray for the blessing of water to be shared in Harmony and Equity with the Whole. May we focus on the Truth we already know about the effects of Living Water on Human’s body, mind, heart and soul.
May we kneel before the Highest One and reach for the blessing that’s beyond all Human understanding as the Element that carries the Ether of Spirit and purifying Oxygen from our Lungs through the Heart to reach every cell in our body. May we give thanks for our limitations for the offering that makes it possible to see the Truth of a Miracle. Like the Deer, may we call upon the Highest One to share the Gifts of Spirit in Harmony and Equity with the whole.
May we ask to know our Highest Calling.
love, in lak’ech,
Debra, 9 Eagle/MEN
THE JAGUAR’S EARTH MAGIC OF GRATITUDE:
I’m grateful for the rain that falls in our life and for every thundercloud that turns our eyes to the Heart of Sky and the blessing that reigns over the Hearts of the whole.

REMEMBERING JOHN LEWIS: 2/21/1940 (13 Flint/ETZNAB, conceived Galactic Week 1 Transformer/CIMI), Ascended 07/17/2020 (13 Serpent/CHICCHAN, day before 1 Transformer/CIMI)
We Ascended the Reed/BEN trecenca on 13 Serpent/CHICCHAN. We were changed by a Dream that was carried to Higher Ground. John Lewis is still with us as long as his words, his voice, and his Dream carries on. Somewhere in the Up Above he is with us now. He stepped into the “otherside” to begin a new life, Above, on 1 Transformer/CIMI. I know if there was ANY WAY that he could, he would be with us now, and I Feel that he is. He is one Human that is impossible to forget.
“I say to people today, ‘You must be prepared if you believe in something. If you believe in something, you have to go for it. As individuals, we may not live to see the end.”
“If you’re not hopeful and optimistic, then you just give up. You have to take the long hard look and just believe that if you’re consistent, you will succeed.”
“Never give up. Never give in. Never become hostile… Hate is too big a burden to bear.”
~John Lewis

2 Deer/MANIK (Cherokee, Deer/Ahwu’sdi): Day 2 of 13 in the trecena beginning 1 Transformer/CIMI
Descriptions by Ian Xel Lungold, 12 Sun/AHAU, MayanMajix.com
Galactic Tone 2: Mysterious as the question ‘to be or not to be?” Two is the recognition of the separation of self from all else and the desire to be rejoined. Walking a balance while making choices of all kinds, light/dark, male/female, good/bad, Yin/Yang, is the energy of this number. Experiencing the differences between one and another is the use and purpose of this number.
Deer/MANIK (Hand): Deer are spirit tools. Silence itself is a spiritual experience for Deer. For Deer life is a pilgrimage. Deer are dominant persons who defend the people and will make sacrifices for others. The spirit of Deer upholds the pillars of the four directions. With the power inherent in the number four, Deer pushes away bad influences or negative energies. Skill and quality of work are very important to Deer. They are presented with tools for every task in life and it is with these that they are able to rise above limitations. Deer has a habit of keeping every tool it has ever used. This leads to clutter and indecision, loss and procrastination. When confronted with promises not kept, Deer becomes stubborn, manipulative and evasive.
THIS IS A GOOD DAY TO: Be of Service to Others
Cherokee, Deer/Ahwu’sdi: Symbolized by Constellation Galagina, the Stag, known as Taurus, the Bull. It does not include the Pleiades and Hyades clusters which in Cherokee are viewed as separate. To feed, gatherers of food and supplies, they enjoy rituals, ceremonials, feasts, the souls of hospitality, sociability. Freedom versus security issues often inspire leadership and unique solutions. Combined with artistic and inspiring energies in harmony with lunar cycles, they nourish the clans. Totem-Deer: A priest or shaman, a powerful person in general, to overwhelm an individual with one’s personal power, divination; inclined to become a teacher, healer, guru, civic leader, or politician. Ability to create harmonic resonance.
