Irish Barn Owl, Source: FOTO Wildlife Park The mysterious Barn owl (Tyto alba) is a species native to Ireland and has long been held in fascination by the public as a rarely seen nocturnal hunter. The Barn owl’s ghostly white appearance, front-facing eyes and silent movement when in flight add to it its sense of mystery. In many countries, the owl is often associated with myths, legends and with wisdom and prophecy. In Ireland, the Barn owl’s haunting call has given rise to the myth of the Banshee whose wail was an omen of death for those that heard her.
THE TRECENA OF SERPENT/CHICCHAN: Feeling Our Way

12 Wisdom/CIB, Cherokee, Cherokee, Owl U’GUKU’, Destiny Kin 116, Position 16
Greetings Beloved Kin,
The Owl totem is the great hunter with the vision of the Eagle, capable to see through the darkness, and to see what’s behind. They play a divine role in controlling the vermin population and the spread of disease. Wisdom/CIB shares the perspective to see our past as an archeological treasure. Wisdom is the application of Truth we’ve witnessed before. CIB represents the mystical ferryman that holds a torch aloft to cross to the “otherside.”
The Truth we learn by our own experience empowers us to step into a new future. When we apply a mind of reason to see objectively, what we’ve experienced before, our Own Truth is the treasure. We rarely see what’s going on in the moment, when we react to most experiences from our Human emotions. We are ready to learn, when we take a second look at the facts beyond the illusion. We can sail beyond the rule of our emotions, applying the faculty of critical thinking that uses the past to create the future. The Truth is known through Feelings of Knowing that are different than the doubts and fears of Human Ego.
Tone 12 holds the Intention of Understanding, as the Divine Gift to comprehend the Truth. Understanding is the Truth taken to Heart, a Gift from Above shared with the Down Below. We have to face the past to rid our life of the influences that “only feel like life or death” until we see clearly. The Creator’s offering of Time created a perception of yesterday, today, and tomorrow on Earth, a tool for Transformation that helps us conceive a “before and after.” All Truth that becomes Wisdom requires an experience that’s known as a Beginning and an End. Critical thinking engages the Wisdom of Duality, the means to know something about all things, from the Truth of One thing we know for sure (ie. “if this is true, then…).

12 Wisdom / CIB
Wisdom is Truth that raises us to Holy Ground, and creates a Clear Path to the Future, that we’re Free to Choose when we Forgive. Truth satisfies all the lingering questions that can never be fully-known in the down below – the reason “why?” Reasons cease to matter when the Truth sets us Free to claim the future of our Dreams. We can go back to Living our own Life, and the chance to create something new.
We can find a Divine Meaning and Purpose for every experience when look to see and Ask to Know. A Hand Above keeps carrying us back to the past until we learn the lesson. Wisdom/CIB takes the journey under the cover of darkness to claim the Light we CAN see when we apply “mind over matter” to an experience that threatened our life and “senses of well-being.”
The glyph illustrates the mind in its highest state of Consciousness, beaming the Light of Love and Gratitude for the Truth we are capable to see beyond worldly illusions of something that can’t be changed. We can’t change the past, but we can turn our discernment of the experience around from “darkness” to “light.” What we know by our own experience is the Truth we can take to heart to find our way toward the brightest tomorrow.
Forgiveness is the Key to the Kingdom. How often are you returned to the past, only to relive the experience of injustice that was beyond your control, beyond your own choice? Those journey’s only lead to a loss of Faith in the Creator’s choice to offer the Divine Provision that was the promise from above. When we Forgive, we can see clearly that the Right to Choose wasn’t lost for the application of Truth we learned for all the Time that lies ahead.
Instead of just reliving “what happened,” CIB looks beyond to see “what we learned.” We always learn at least One thing. We see the Truth of “who we are not.” Who we are not is the easy way to know “who we are,” when we conceive what we would never choose by Intention to create that experience for another.
CIB is a Day to Honor the Wisdom of the “Old Ones” that walked this way before. The Collective Wisdom of ALL Human experience is stored up like a treasure to learn the ways of Right Relationship. Residing in the South, CIB reflects the influence of our Relationships with one another and with the Natural World. To see the Truth we have to remember that the Truth is never “what it seems” in the world. Our worse offenses are imposed by the knee-jerk reactions of an Ego that perceives we’re “not in control” of our own life.
The Facts of Life in a world of choices made by Humans who bear the limitations of physicality is that we’re bound to know experiences that “aren’t fair.” Life is a balance of the “good and the bad” luck of “human’s imposition of fate.” Beyond our emotions, if we look to see, ALL things can be turned to the good by the Power and Authority of the Highest One. The Divine Creator is the Truth from the Beginning to the End, the Alpha and Omega, that can turn everything to a Divine Meaning and Purpose of Knowing. We have to “life and learn” so we can “live and let live,” as we keep moving on.

It’s hard to leave something we Love behind. But, the question is, WHY did we Love it, when the experience caused more harm than good? We can heal our own Heart when we can see through it – our own Intention to Love, even when “someone done us wrong.” The Owl can shed it’s vision to see beyond the veil to the Light that dwells in the Heart. It’s amazing how much Love can cover a multitude of Sins. CIB shares the Light that Truth covers a multitude of sins too, when we see beyond the rule of Human emotions to apply it to the future we can control.
Making new choices isn’t easy, when the Life of our Dreams depends on leaving something behind. Forgiveness is the Divine Way to walk in peace. No one knows what they are doing when the emotions rule.
This is a day to hear again the Wisdom that was shared by those who “lived it before.” When we seek the Wisdom of someone who’s Love was always True to the best of any Human’s ability, we can look to the Truth that survived the test of Time. The Elders are always waiting to lend a Hand from the Legion of Light that shines forever. Wouldn’t you? If someone remembered and reached to you? Our Collective thoughts are One for all Time as the whole of Humanity.
Thoughts are a living thing, electrical energy that is subject to magnetic forces. We can draw the Light of Wisdom when we Look to See. The Irish Barn Owl bobs it’s head and looks all around to see everything from every angle to see the Whole Picture.
Today we can learn something from our past that offers the Freedom that’s promised for the future. If we forgive, and LEARN something, we won’t be drawn back by painful memories anymore. Instead, we’ll “choose to return” to learn something else we couldn’t see before. For one thing, we can learn that it takes an experience we FEEL deeply to remember and never forget. Holding the Element of Earth we will realize a Truth that can change our life in a tangible way… Truth we can Grasp to learn a new way.
love, in lak’ech, i am another you

21 DAYS OF GRATITUDE: Beginning 10 Jaguar/IX to 5 Eagle/MEN
I’m grateful that Forgiveness frees us from the illusion of things that can never change. They don’t have to when we’re changed by the Truth. I’m grateful that there are Divine Times to know, when we CAN see the Truth we can grasp in our Heart. I’m grateful the Divine Creator controls our Road to Destiny.

12 Wisdom/CIB (Cherokee, Owl U’GUKU’) – Day 12 of 13 in the Serpent CHICCHAN’s cycle of “light.”
Descriptions by Ian Xel Lungold (12 Sun/AHAU), wisdom preserved on MayanMajix.com
Galactic Tone 12: Understanding. This number’s energy is a gift of great capability of retrospection. It is this ability that allows Twelve to connect disassociated parts into a (new) functioning whole. The energy of Twelve is that which presents a new piece of understood information or accumulated experience to be applied.
Wisdom/CIB: The old ones. Wisdom of the ancients. Wisdom persons are aligned with the ancient memories that wait in the stone of temples and sacred sites all over the world. Wisdom people grow luck like a crop using a balance of prudence and tenacity. The tremendous inner strength of this sign enables silent introspection to discover areas of oneself that contain wisdom more valuable than any trove of archaeological treasure. Wisdom persons are valiant defenders of family and community. They may become hardened to life and sentiment turned cold. In these cases, they need much forgiveness for their uncaring errors. Periodically connecting with nature and or visiting sacred sites will bring great stability to wisdom persons.
A GOOD DAY TO: Sit on a rock.
Cherokee, Owl U’GUKU’ O’JJ: Symbol is the Owl is Arcturus, the brightest Star in the Constellation Bootes. The Cherokee Bear constellation (Ursa Major) includes the Big Dipper plus four stars in Bootes. Owl is a hunter, who stands for the wisdom and ability of all great hunters, the cunning of a fox, the tenacity of a bulldog and strength of a bear. Energy for deep thinkers, strong-willed, rigid convictions, bold and authoritative. Owl is the Mystic Ferryman who guides Earthlings on the return path to the stars holding the torch aloft.
