THE TRECENA OF FLINT/ETZNAB: TRUTH AND LOVE THAT SETS US FREE

Flint/ETZNAB beams the Stellar Ray of Truth to Earth along the path of a lightning strike.

Greetings Beloved Kin,

Flint/ETZNAB leads the 10th trecena and completes the 2nd Season of the Tzolk’in round. 3 Sun/AHAU marks the Intention for Movement at the end of the 6th uinal of Flow by the unseen force of Momentum. For every climb we’ve established a rhythm and pattern of movement through Intentions to direct our thoughts toward our Highest Hopes.

Flint/ETZNAB delivers the Unexpected Truth, like a Lightning Flash in order to sweep our path clear of the obstacles we knew in the past. It’s a clean slate for a brand new beginning. Residing in our own Center our Gift of Telepathy is enhanced as our emotions lose their power of influence. We can see the Truth as “simply the way things are.”

ETZNAB is the static energy that separates negative from positive thoughts by their own kind, making them easier to see. Flint is also known as the Mirror. we don’t have to react to matters in the world. In silence, without defense, the Truth will be written on our face. This is a good time to face our self in the Mirror, when we’re more willing to acknowledge the “simple truth” about our self that we’re ready to change.

Flint is the top-down view, shared in a Divine Way from the One that loves us unconditionally, so there’s nothing to fear and we’re presented with all the new choices we could make.

 

The Aztec descriptions tend to put a harder edge on the experience. They predict this as a time of great upheaval and trials. It doesn’t have to feel that way. The point is to “see clearly” what wasn’t working in the past, and the importance of leaving old ways behind. It’s time to face the Truth and nothing but the Truth. (It’s okay to see, what we’re being moved to change. And, with 3 Sun/AHAU as the Inspiration to Move, we’ll KNOW all things are possible.) This is time to EMBRACE the Truth that will set us free!

From the Aztec Calendar: 1-Tecpatl is a day to honor Huitzilopochtli, the Hummingbird Sorcerer, god of the will and the intent, Lord of the South. Day Tecpatl (Stone Knife, known as Etznab in Maya) is governed by Chalchihuihtotolin, the Jewelled Fowl, as its provider of tonalli (Shadow Soul) life energy. Tecpatl is a day of grave ordeals, a day of trials and tribulations. It is a good day to test one’s character, a bad day to rest on one’s past accomplishments or reputation. Tecpatl warns that the mind, the spirit, must be sharpened like the glass blade which cuts to the marrow of truth. 

The thirteen day period (trecena) that starts with day 1-Tecpatl (Stone Knife) is ruled by Mictlantecuhtli, Lord of the Region of the Dead, god of death. This trecena signifies an ordeal or trial that pushes one to the very threshhold of endurance: it forebodes an abrupt change in the continuity of things. These are 13 days influenced by the sun, which is a symbol of death: the stars are the warriors of the past and the sun is the gateway of that transformation. The sun is singing fire while the Evening Star guides it through the Region of the Dead: the combined efforts of the elementals are focused on producing a permanent change of heart. These are good days to shed old skins; bad days to cling to what is already known.

Cycle of Darkness
Flint/ETZNAB guides us through the Unknown to realize the Truth of our own experience. ETZNAB puts our Gifts of Spirit to use, as CHICCHAN raised our awareness to the Truth we know by our own gut instincts. This is time to realize the Power of the Gifts we were given to know the Truth. Our Intuition is grounded by the fact that we did witness the Truth and the hard facts before. It only “feels” like intuition because we didn’t Consciously look to see the Truth in the moment. (The “unexpected Truth” that we already know, is only Truth we didn’t want to see in our self or others – or, Truth that appeared to be “too good to be true.”)

Through the Gift of a direct connection of Divine Communion with the One Above, we won’t be afraid to know, or afraid to dream. We’ll remember how the Truth always sets us free.

The 7th Uinal
The “core days” of the Tzolk’in represent a time to see everything in the balance. The time is compared to the chrysalis of the Galactic Butterfly. The Serpent/CHICCHAN trecena guided us to shed the old skin and self-defense mechanisms we used to cover the Truth we weren’t prepared to Feel. The time is ordered to let old ways go, so we can build new strength and the power to fly.

Number 7 is the symbol of seeing “all that is” and “all that is not,” and the power to create our own reality. The energy that’s common in the 7th uinal is a balanced point of view. This is the axis mundi of our Tree of Life. You may notice a new power to see the extremes without any reaction, one way or the other.  The 7th uinal can feel like the “Twilight Zone,” detached from reality.

Like the caterpillar that dissolves into its cocoon, its time for inner reflection and solitude. The 20 core days can feel like they go on forever, then suddenly, we’re prepared to take flight.

We’re in the process of choosing the New Seed of our Self. This is not the time to make major decisions lightly, but to take the Time to see everything we truly Dream for our Life to be. This is Time to “Choose Wisely” and deliberately, what our future will be.

Guardian of the Trecena
13 Dog/OC is the Guardian of this cycle that marks an Ascension at the top of the Tzolk’in pyramid. Human’s orbit of 260 days, manifests the Creation of Life and the Seed for a new generation. The following 130 days that complete the round represent the balance of the Creation that are carried out by Divine Agency. It won’t be hard to face the facts about the ways  we’re choosing to let go. Unconditional Love and the Promise of Answered Prayers will serve as the bones to stand and the teeth to bite through.

HOLY DAY: SERPENTINE DAY
July 22, 2022, 8 Serpent/CHICCHAN – Serpentine Day, Spiritual Strength, Tone of Divine Justice
Serpentine Day is a Celebration of our Consciousness of a Power Greater than our Self; a Quickening that ignites the Gifts of Spirit and the Passion to Create; Clearly Seeing by Feeling the Truth.

The Flint/ETZNAB trecena will deliver the Light of Truth, the Whole Truth and nothing but the Truth. The core days represent the zero point, the absence of polarity, the axus mundi of the Tree of Life. Old ways will dissolve like the Chrysalis of a Butterfly, and through a Balanced Perspective the Truth will reveal the Divine Meaning and Purpose of the Darkness and the Light.

Today’s forecast…

Tone 1 holds the Intention of Unity, time we are Inspired by the “first light” of Truth by the Highest One. Every climb begins from a state of inertia. You may feel like it’s hard to get anything done until we reach Tone 3. This is not time for “doing,” but time intended for “taking it in.”

Sometimes the hardest moment is when the Truth first hits us in the face, or in Flint’s way, cuts to the bone. We see Truth that will take Time to heal and Time to change. Remember, the Divine Creator will redeem all the Time it takes to know, when we sacrifice our heart and our human emotions to know the Truth at any cost. In this cycle we can stand on a promise that the Truth we discover is settings us free to live a brand new life and finally know the highest way to reach the end of our dreams.

ETZNAB holds the Element of Air, the Breath of Life and Breath of Spirit from the One Above. Flint’s truth is always unexpected. It’s possible that the Truth that hits us in the face is the parts of our self that are worthy to carry on. For all our doubts and fears about our self, we were “better than we thought we were all along.” The Wind shares the Creator’s Voice – listen to the Wind when you Ask to Know. The Element of Air relates to our thoughts and our faculties of consciousness. The Truth can change our mind about who we are and give us a push to stand on our own Truth, instead of relying on what anyone else has to say about us. ETZNAB holds the gift to read between the lines of every Human conversation.

AN EXERCISE FOR DESIGNING A NEW SEED OF OUR SELF

To Consciously and deliberately choose who we intend to be, and the Truth we intend to remember we can design our own Seed.

Start with a circle to define the boundaries of your own most important Truths, the dreams and challenges you will see yourself overcome. Do it slowly and deliberately. Add simple Truths that uphold your “core values” and wishes for the future.

The example, right, is one I used in 2019. It’s a good reminder that once before at this same time, I was having a hard time “moving” forward. I did a LOT of moving after this round and a lot of cleaning – for all the moves. 🙂

We only need a “reason to move” that inspires us to rise to the occasion. Make it simple and make it your own, grounding the Truths that matter the most. Turn it into a piece of “vision art” if you want to – but, don’t get too specific. Remember that the Creator will take your Highest Hopes and multiply the to abundance. Don’t limit yourself, by the details that could distract you when it doesn’t happen “your limited way.”

The value of drawing clear boundaries is Stability. When someone else’s thoughts intrude, you clearly see you didn’t choose them – they are not in YOUR circle, and they don’t belong to YOU.

An Elder shared the Vision of existing in the “whirlwind” of Life. You could imagine your circle is a sphere at the eye of a hurricane, and invisible wall all around you. Should anyone else’s wayward thoughts come near, they’re simply whisked away by power of the wind at your parameter.

This is a trecena to APPLY the Gifts of Spirit that are simply Conscious thoughts that serve your highest purpose to “see the Dream” and believe that Divine Powers are part of our Divine Nature. Remember that the right use of supernatural powers is not to apply the to a Human end, but to Know what the Creator can do when we let go of Our Way to receive the blessings directly from a Hand Above.

Pay attention to your own Intuition, and follow the Truth you KNOW within. No one else’s Truth is more important than your own, when you’re standing on the promise of Unconditional Love as the Creator’s Wind at your back.

Galactic Tone 1:  Unity. One is the beginning of all things, the first, the whole and the all in one. One’s are assertive and self-guided and give a good push to whatever project they are associated with. One persons work best when meeting a challenge. Do not expect One-persons to be attentive to details or to put the finishing touches on things.

Flint/ETZNAB: Mirror of reality. As a struck flint, these persons are the divine sparks of intelligence. Flint’s innate abilities are utilized to discriminate emotions from fact. Flint persons stand tireless to protect, defend, or cure others by personal sacrifice. By courageously wielding the sword of truth, falsehoods are cut away. Flints, it was said, can receive information on inter-personal troubles or evil plots of others by reflecting in an obsidian mirror. Their valiant service as warriors of the truth must be impeccable or they will experience sufferings of accidents, misunderstandings and gossip.

A GOOD DAY TO: Spend time in reflection and introspection.

Cherokee, Flint/DAWI’SGALA: Opener of the Way, a creator, innovator, stretches the mind to outside limits of capabilities. Changes the static to the dynamic.  Brings about change, often through separation and destruction.  Beams the Stellar Ray of Truth to Earth as a crystal sword cast down along the path of a lightning flash. Flint is the transformer that brings things to a head and wipes the slate clean.
