9 Monkey / CHUEN
Greetings Beloved Kin,
The Pyramid of the Magician in Uxmal is defined as the Cosmic University of the Divine Feminine. What the Spanish defined as the site of a nunnery was a Mystery School.
A study conducted by astronomer Anthony Aveni and the architect Horst Hartung reveals how the buildings and their entrance ways were used by the ancient Maya for astronomical observations. According to American anthropologist and leading authority on the Maya, Michael D. Coe, these cosmic universities were indeed used as schools for training astronomers as well as warriors, calendrical day keepers, the ritual priesthood and shamanic healers. It is also interesting to point out how the Governors Palace in Uxmal was recently found to be used for harvesting a number of medicinal plants. Source: Adept Expeditions
The Initiation of the Mayan priestess symbolizes a climb to the Highest Illumination of Consciousness. The Holy Day celebrates a Divine Union between the Divine Feminine “Heart of Earth” and the Divine Masculine “Heart of Sky.” This round the Time is synchronized with Yom Kipur, the Highest Holy Day of the Jewish tradition. They define the Time as the tearing away of the veil to see the Truth beyond the Mystery, Above and Below.
Through the Choice of Faith in Humility of our Human limitations, we are prepared to see the Truth, and nothing but the Truth. Monkey/CHUEN holds position 11, the Master Number that represents the Truth shared from the Highest Source. The Creator’s Law of Love was the Covenant for a Promise of Knowing the Mysteries of Creation.
Monkey/CHUEN is the weaver of Time. The Mystery of the Creation is a Divine Order for Time. There is a Divine Purpose for all Time. 9 Monkey/CHUEN is a Divine Time for Knowing, and the Truth that all Wisdom is an offering shared by the Lord of all Creation.
The 10th uinal of the Tzolk’in marks a Higher Intention of Manifestation. This is Time to know Truth beyond the limits of our imagination. Tone 9 represents Human’s order of Time for Patience to see the Big Picture for the Truth that will be revealed. To bear the Truth of knowing we need to stand the solid ground of Faith in the Authority of Creation that intends to carry the Dream for Humanity to its Highest End.
Our Highest Illumination depends on a Heart that is willing to know the Darkness to See the Power of the Light. The AKBAL trecena offers a Time to see the Truth from the realm of our Dreams, where nothing is impossible, and where we can see the Whole Truth from the Highest Perspective.
9 Monkey/CHUEN is Destiny Kin 191, a symbol of wholeness in the “lower place,” Divine Trinity in a “place Above,” and the Whole Power of the Highest One, the Supreme Lord of All Creation. Number 9 is the symbol of a creation that is finished.
Number 191 from the Bible codes of the Lexicon Concordance, the grematia for the Hebrew letters is:
#0191 אֱוִיל ‘eviyl {ev-eel’}
from an unused root (meaning to be perverse); TWOT – 44a;
adj m
—Hebrew Word Study (Transliteration-Pronunciation Etymology & Grammar)
1) be foolish, foolish
1a) (subst)
1a1) of one who despises wisdom
1a2) of one who mocks when guilty
1a3) of one who is quarrelsome
1a4) of one who is licentious
—Brown-Driver-Briggs (Old Testament Hebrew-English Lexicon)
I don’t know what that means in the Big Picture. May we be willing to know and face the Truth without fear. AKBAL encourages us to be willing to enter the Darkness to Know the Light. To know the Power of Good, we have to willing know the power of evil. By Earth’s Time this is a Time of Divine Justice. The Harvest season bears the Truth that we reap what we sew.
May we stand on the Highest Truth of Love and the Power of a Divine Hand to carry out the Dream as it was meant to be from the beginning to the end. May we surrender to whatever shall be in Faith that ALL things and ALL Time is ordered by a Hand Above.
May we raise our Highest Prayers in Faith for what a Divine Creator will do, and Ask for Help on behalf of the future of the whole.
love, in lak’ech, i am another you
Debra, 9 Eagle/MEN
THE JAGUAR’S EARTH MAGIC OF GRATITUDE:
I’m grateful that a Hand Above is the Highest Power and Authority over all things great and small.

THE PYRAMID OF THE MAGICIAN:
The ruins at Uxmal are among the oldest Mayan ruins and the Pyramid of the Magician, unique in its form.
Uxmal is a place known for the Initiation of the Mayan priestess, the Cosmic Divine Feminine University. Miguel Angel Vergara, Master Maya Teacher, calls Uxmal “The City of the Kindness of the Moon.” Many make the pilgrimage here to Celebrate the Divine Feminine and receive the Initiation. The “pyramid of the Magician” remembers the aspects of the Monkey Creator, and is related to the Seeker and Soothsayer, who holds the Gifts of Divine Discernment. Some believe it was built by the ancient Atlanteans as a center for the transmission of Divine Knowledge.
There are 5 altars at the top, the 5th as the Highest is a symbol of Empowerment. Tone 5 holds the intention of Knowing the Ways and Means of all Creation.
The Elders say Uxmal holds the perfect balance of female and male energies. In Mayan sacred geometry, Uxmal structures are aligned to the sun, the moon, and the reappearance of Venus. Ix Cheel/Ixchel was honored here as the White Goddess, she of the pale face; as the Red Goddess, Lady Rainbow and Weaver Goddess; and, as the Crone, the Jaguar Goddess, the Old Moon Goddess and Grandmother. The base of the pyramid is a symbolic measure of Earth’s orbit around the Sun.
During nights of the full moon, priestesses of Uxmal performed their rituals on the heights of the Pyramid of the Magician, merging the creative forces of the universe, honoring fertility and abundance. 9 Monkey/CHUEN completes the Sacred Feminine aspect of Compassionate Love, and the Magic of Human Creation.
9 Monkey/CHUEN celebrates Conscious Discernment of Divinity within our Self. Before the Governor’s Palace rests the Altar to the Two Jaguars united as One… knowing the Truth both ways. TRUTH always sets us free and tells us what we need to know for the next step.

NOTE: You can also look at dates from a different direction. What is the Destiny Kin number of your day sign’s 3rd tone? You may have overlooked a life-changing day. Use the Kin Calculator offered on the Daykeeper’s Resource Page for a date six years before or after. If you are just starting to count the days and don’t have a journal from the last round, when something major happens in your life you can look to see if there was a major event on that same date before. You can also look for Signs in the “distance of time” – the number of days between one day and another, from the Time and Date Calculator linked on the resources page. Example – 33 days is a symbol of a day that you actualize the Truth from the beginning date.

Galactic Tone 9: Patience. The energy of Nine is one of getting a better perspective of the bigger picture. With the energy of Nine, plans or patterns begin to come to completion. Nine requires patience and perseverance that is found in the bigger picture, otherwise there is great suffering from the lack of insight. A completion of cycles of action is all-important to Nine.
Monkey/CHUEN: Monkey is known to the Maya as the Weaver or Weaver of Time. Monkey takes ideas as threads of vines and weaves them into the fabric of our reality. New patterns or inventions are also woven into our lives by Monkey. Amiable, intelligent, generous and a jack of all trades, Monkey’s innocent curiosity leads to artistic expression and constructive solutions. Many Monkeys become highly respected merchants or speakers. They love performing practical jokes and crave attention, so much so that they may over-act or play the fool to get the spotlight. Monkeys have a short attention span and find it difficult to stay with anything long enough to master it.
A GOOD TIME TO: Begin anything new in your life.
Cherokee, Raccoon/KVH’LI: Star Symbol: Algol, a star in Perseus. Restless energy yearning for long-lost love. Algol was named DEMON STAR or MISCHIEVOUS ONE by the Ancients because it winks and fades at times. Raccoon is full of friendly mischief, eager to swap kisses for candy. Magnetic leaders, full of humor and gaiety. Favorite food is corn, the mainstay of the Cherokee. Very artistic while being the “masked bandit” who steals your heart.
