4 Eagle / MEN
Greetings Beloved Kin,
Eagle/MEN guides us to a Higher Perspective to focus on the future, leaning in to the Truth by our own Experience of the Past. The Past doesn’t define our future, only the legs of a journey from Point A to Point B. The Eagle doesn’t look over its shoulder, but focuses on an “X” that marks the spot of an end beyond all Hopes and Dreams.
If we thought we knew the end of our Highest Dream, that’s when we’d give up instead of looking any farther. We were born to Live for a Dream. When we cease to dream for something more beautiful tomorrow, we lose our most Divine Reason to be. When we cease to create, all we have is the past experiences of “failures” by virtue of the feeling that we never reached our highest end.
Eagle/MEN offers a clear vision of the Unseen “X” through the Element of Living Water that flows through our blood and speaks through the Heart. Eagle holds Position 15, the 5 of Empowerment times 3.
HOLY OBSERVANCE: GLOBAL BURNER DAY
4 Eagle/MEN marks the center of the 2nd Season of the Tzolk’in. Global Burners fall on the Tone 4 of Stability. The Mayan priests still carry out the Sacred Fire Ceremony for the purpose of drawing the Community back together in Right Relationship. We are relieved of residual energies that no longer serve a purpose. Old habits of second-guessing our Self can fall away, when we’re not depending on our Self any more. We’re Depending on the Source of every Divine Inspiration that knows the end beyond our Highest Hopes and Aspirations.
Tone 4 lays a foundation for Faith to Stand. The Eagle teaches us to fly by Intuition, leaning into the Truth that feels like solid ground. The Eagle can catch a ride into the Storm to be carried by the Whirlwind and the Creator’s Grace.
Jaguar/IX guided us to move under the cover of stealth and invisibility. Eagles fly with Eagles, or they fly alone.
Lean to your own understanding, that a Divine Creator Sees all, Knows all, and is guiding us every step of the way. If we run into a storm, the Creator will draw our thoughts to the Highest Perspective.
Tone 4 guides us to create the rules of our game. If we keep our eye on the Creator’s prize, we’ll keep flying when we see an okay human dream that’s easy. A Divine Creator will lead us along the path of our Greatest Talents, our easiest ways. We’re being promoted to use the same ways we love for a Higher Meaning and Purpose.
The Creator will have the final say. May we surrender to the Creator’s way to lead us to the highest end.
love, in lak’ech (“i am another you”)

THE JAGUAR’S EARTH MAGIC OF GRATITUDE
I’m grateful for a Divine Provision for Faith to Stand.
The Sacred Fire Ceremony page offers the Vision shared by “Beautiful Painted Arrow.” Included is a way to carry it out inside, using wooden matches. Use the Sacred Breath to accelerate the Fire that burns within.

My gift for the Tzolk’in round is the “Tzolk’in Field Guide: A Daily Practice for Personal Discernment.” Volume 1 covers the first two seasons of the Tzolk’in round. The “Field Guide” is available to download from a link on the 13-day Trecena Guide Page.
The Road/EB trecena is part of Season 2, found in Volume 1.
4 Eagle/MEN (Cherokee, Eagle/UWO’HATLI) – Day 4 of 13 of the 1 Road/EB Trecena
Descriptions by Ian Xel Lungold (12 Sun/AHAU), wisdom and Tzolk’in calculator preserved on MayanMajix.com
Galactic Tone 4: Stability; the cube is most stable of all forms and establishes volume by definition of height, length, depth and breadth; 4 directions establish orientation. The energy of 4 sets the parameters, which establish the freedoms and barriers needed to create a game, work, or relationship.
Eagle/MEN: Intermediary between Heaven and Earth. Due to the Eagles superior point of view and keen intelligence, they achieve material abundance and good fortune. A messenger gifted with patience and a deep sense of value, Eagle brings hope and trust on the wings of Spirit. Eagle persons are very detail oriented and technically inclined. Compassionate service to others sustains prosperity for Eagle personas as the flapping of wings would sustain their bird brothers. If Eagle becomes viciously competitive or possessive, greed and jealousy cause a fall from the heights. Eagles, being blessed with freedom of movement, should be aware of escapism. Eagles may be tempted to just fly away from troubles by using indulgences.
A GOOD DAY TO: Rise to a Higher Perspective
Cherokee, Eagle/UWO’HATLI: Symbol is Mars the Spirit Warrior. He is a minion of Grandfather Moon. Eagles were the warrior society, the braves the protectors of the nation.Women were included. There was no discrimination which is reflected in the language: third person singular is divided into animate, human and animate, not human instead of he and she. The energy of high hopes and anticipations, dreams and visions, cosmic consciousness and commitment. On earth a provider of excellence, leader, husbandry, care-taking of others, financial security and inheritance. Totem-Eagle. Powerful energy for success in worldly affairs, due to far seeing vision. Ability to create masses of money and abundance through an intellectual type of profession. Eagle asks for what he desires and manifests it. Professor, lawyer, teacher, leader.
[Text in italics was the primary source of inspiration for my journal. These are the sources that started my journey and they are the reference for interpretation each day. By providing the original text, I hope to offer a way to see what inspired my thoughts and by including all the aspects – allow for something more to inspire you. Mayan descriptions are those written by Ian Lungold. Cherokee descriptions came from multiple sources.
