The Science of the Lion’s Gate Alignment
In the 7th month Earth carries out a balancing act to her farthest extremes. The Earth in Aphelion refers to our farthest distance from the Sun.
Earth in Aphelion occurs on July 5, 2024
The Earth is farthest from the Sun (aphelion) roughly two weeks after the summer solstice, and closest to the Sun (perihelion) roughly 2 weeks after the winter solstice.
At the moment of aphelion, the Sun will be over 94 million miles away (measured center to center), or over 3 million miles farther as compared to when the Earth is closest to it (perihelion). The actual number varies year over year.
It’s All About The Tilt
If you ask most people which month of the year they think Earth is closest to the Sun, most would probably say during June, July, or August. But our warm weather doesn’t relate to our distance from the Sun. It’s because of the 23.5-degree tilt of the Earth’s axis that the Sun is above the horizon for different lengths of time at different seasons. The tilt determines whether the Sun’s rays strike us at a low angle or more directly.

From a Universal Perspective the smallest Sun creates more Darkness for the Light of all the Stars. The Elders say the Green Beings are the most sentient of living creations. They feel the shadow of transits across the Sun. The Green Beings receive the Sign to Multiply before the Harvest Moon.
The New Moon, July 5, 2024, is the blank slate for a new Illumination of the Sun. New Moons are for planting when the water table in Earth is at its Highest Tide. The New Moon will be our last planting before the Harvest Moon. We’re anticipating a Time of Light at the Perfect Angle. Ask for a Dream with your name on it.
The Full “Thunder Moon” is July 21, 2024, so named as the month when people are most likely to be struck by lightning. Lightning can strike from 10 miles away. MoonGiant.com devotes their Moon Phase article to thunder and lightning safety.
From the perspective of Divine Synchronicity, there’s every reason to pray for a Divine Illumination by the Star that marked a Divine Event for eras of Humanity. The investment of the Ancients’ Time and Energy is the reason we are still drawn to the mystery of their wisdom today. The Power of a Symbol is magnified every time we see it… until it can no longer be a coincidence.
The Lion’s Gate is not for the faint of heart, but for the Lion. We are also exposed to more Darkness. (Think “Indiana Jones” when they opened the Arc.) Prepare now by getting clear about the Dream that’s worth waiting for, even if it’s on the other side. And, don’t look back. Prepare for a lightning strike.
Take note of your own physical response to the tilt. I have experienced dizziness around the solstice. On rare occasions I experience a “medical emergency” that takes care of itself in 24 hours. Both experiences have made me more conscious of times when self-care and prevention is in order. Clear the path through your house. We can be growing instead of wilting under a Maximum Exposure of Light.
In late Summer, Sirius is found in the East near the horizon just before dawn.

Cherokee, WOLF/KANA’TI: Wolf’s symbol is Sirius (Dog star) and Antares, one or the other always visible but never at the same time. Wolf is our brother, shares our very roots. All dogs are domesticated wolves, companionship and guidance. Connecting link between the worlds. One who inspires loyalty, diplomacy and sense of humor with unlimited potential. A teacher, healer, pathfinder and transformer. Sharp as obsidian, gentle as a lamb. Totem -Dog. Loyalty and faithfulness that survives beyond death. This was the first day of creation energy in this 4th world, sets the energy for love, loyalty and faithfulness on the 5200 year cycle. Heart chakra energy is involved so that we can move to the state of “unconditional love” with compassion. All sexual desire issues that are not in harmony will surface to be cleared.
Sirius: The Dog Star of Ancient Cultures Around the World

Dog Star Sirius and it’s White Dwarf, sometimes called the “Pup”
Interestingly, totally separate ancient cultures with no apparent communication have related the brilliant Sirius with either a wolf or a dog. In ancient Chaldea (present day Iraq) the star was called the “Dog Star that Leads,” while in ancient China the star was identified as a heavenly wolf. The Dog Star Sirius was known as “the Dog of the Sun” in Assyria and Akkadia.
Meanwhile, North American indigenous tribes have also referred to the star in canine terms. The Seri and Tohono O’odham tribes of the southwest describe Sirius as a “dog that follows mountain sheep,” while the Cherokee paired Sirius with Antares as a dog-star guardian of the “Path of Souls.” The Skidi tribe of Nebraska named it the “Wolf Star,” and further north the Alaskan Inuit of the Bering Strait called it “Moon Dog.” Source: Ancient-Origins.net
