SPACEWEATHER: Solar Prominence “Serpent of Fire”

SPACEWEATHER.COM NEWS: 07/18/2024

A PLASMA BRIDGE TO THE MOON: Yesterday, Argentine astronomer Eduardo Schaberger Poupeau was photographing the sun when one of the biggest prominences in years leaped into space. “As I watched, the plasma fountain kept growing and reached an impressive height of more than 380,000 km, more than the distance between Earth and the Moon!” he says.

“This solar phenomenon was truly spectacular,” says Poupeau. “Extending like a serpent of fire, the magnitude and beauty of the prominence left me in awe, reminding me once again of the majesty and power of the universe around us.”

On its way out of the sun’s atmosphere, the prominence entrained a CME and hurled it into space: movie. The CME won’t hit Earth, but it will strike Mercury during the late hours of July 18th. New research shows that this will probably ignite X-ray auroras at ground level on Mercury’s rocky surface.

GEOMAGNETIC STORM WATCH (G1): Two and possibly three faint CMEs are heading for Earth following a series of eruptions from sunspots AR3743, AR3753, and AR3744 on July 16-17. Their collective impact on July 20-21 could cause a minor G1-class geomagnetic storm.

UPDATE: METEOR PASSES OVER STATUE OF LIBERTY

A Blazing 38,000MPH Meteor Lights Up Sky Above Statue Of Liberty, NASA Reports

Rare ‘daytime fireball’ spotted as meteor falls to Earth over New York City

Over 40 eyewitness reports of the fireball were received by the American Meteor Society.

A meteor crashed into Earth’s atmosphere over New York City yesterday (July 16), putting on quite the show for spectators throughout the region.

The meteor created a rare daytime fireball that traveled west into New Jersey at speeds of up to 38,000 mph (61,000 km/h) according to NASA Meteor Watch.

The American Meteor Society received several reports of a daytime fireball on July 16, 2024 over New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, Rhode Island and Pennsylvania. Dramatic fireball footage was captured over Wayne, New Jersey and Northford, Connecticut.

THE TRECENA OF WIND/IK: TRUTH OF THE CREATOR’S WORD

6 Deer/MANIK (Cherokee, Deer/Ahwu’sdi) – Day 6 of 13 of the 1 Wind/IK trecena

Descriptions by Ian Xel Lungold (12 Sun/AHAU), wisdom and Tzolk’in calculator preserved on MayanMajix.com

Galactic Tone 6: Six is responsiveness and the art of negotiation. It is the movement of volume through space that creates time. This energy in action is like the art of dance or a great athlete in motion. Six facilitates dynamic developments in all aspects of life.

Deer/MANIK (Hand): Deer are spirit tools. Silence itself is a spiritual experience for Deer. For Deer life is a pilgrimage. Deer are dominant persons who defend the people and will make sacrifices for others. The spirit of Deer upholds the pillars of the four directions. With the power inherent in the number four, Deer pushes away bad influences or negative energies. Skill and quality of work are very important to Deer. They are presented with tools for every task in life and it is with these that they are able to rise above limitations. Deer has a habit of keeping every tool it has ever used. This leads to clutter and indecision, loss and procrastination. When confronted with promises not kept, Deer becomes stubborn, manipulative and evasive.

A GOOD DAY TO: Be of service to others.

Cherokee, Deer/Ahwu’sdi: Symbolized by Constellation Galagina, the Stag, known as Taurus, the Bull. It does not include the Pleiades and Hyades clusters which in Cherokee are viewed as separate. To feed, gatherers of food and supplies, they enjoy rituals, ceremonials, feasts, the souls of hospitality, sociability. Freedom versus security issues often inspire leadership and unique solutions.  Combined with artistic and inspiring energies in harmony with lunar cycles, they nourish the clans. Totem-Deer:  A priest or shaman, a powerful person in general, to overwhelm an individual with one’s personal power, divination; inclined to become a teacher, healer, guru, civic leader, or politician.  Ability to create harmonic resonance.
