Greetings Beloved Kin,

6 Deer / MANIK

In the 6th Hour of Light “the work” transforms into a routine pattern of movement that creates Momentum. If we’re “into the work” we discern the most efficient way to create the end. The 6th Hour is just before Noon, when we look up and see we’ve accomplished more than we anticipated in the beginning. Compared to the energy of a “great athlete” – now we want to see just how far we could go. Work becomes a “performance” of Creation. Tone 6 holds the Intention to go with the flow. Trust what has been working to move you forward, and know that if you keep doing what you’re doing, you’re bound to reach a higher end.

Tone 6 begins the Peak Energies of the trecena. Things get easier from here through to the end.

Deer/MANIK is the Highest Consciousness of Knowing the only challenge is Remembering. The Elders always said, “It’s never about what you can do. But, WILL YOU REMEMBER? The Deer’s antlers are a symbol of a pair of  Divine Antennae that tunes us in to higher frequencies of thought. When we reach for the Highest One for a Divine Cause, our Heart Knows we can expect the Answer to our Prayers.

We are being Stabilized again by Higher Forces that are carrying us to our Highest Ascension. The Deer has a leg to plant in each of the 4 directions, and the “pure Heart” that relies on a Divine Provision for everything.

Algiz Rune – Symbol of the Tree of Life; two arms reaching, and two angles from Above pointed straight to the heart.

The trecena of Wind/IK is sharing its one-legged power of a hurricane to share One Leg of Truth we can stand on in every circumstance and situation. The Staff of the Mayan priest is the symbol of a Highest Truth of a Promise of Divine Provision for every Human limitation. The Creator’s Word is a Covenant that’s signed by our “blood, sweat, and tears.” When we’re standing on the Promise, we’ll invest the work with or without an immediate return. Going with  the Divine Flow, we’ll count on Divine Time, and a Power of Authority beyond anything we would imagine.

The Mayan priest is a teacher, not a preacher. Advice is given only when asked. The priest is a living demonstration of One who “Lives by the Truth.” Holding the Element of Water, we are consecrated and Blessed when we obey, and dedicate a Hand below to the Hand Above. We let God have his way. We just obey daily orders to love, forgive, and pray for the whole as the Divine Mission we claim for life.

The glyph illustrates the Hand (another Name for MANIK) grasping a thread of Ether between the forefinger and thumb that completes a circuit to the Highest Source of Power Above. We are not worthy to direct the Power. By Human limitation we’ll always fail by some selfish motive, lingering in the shadows of our unconscious thoughts. Only God can wield the Power of the Word for it’s Highest Purpose without threat of human corruption. Going with the flow, means we’ll leave everything in the Creator’s Hands, and show up for our daily orders. When our Offering is Humility for our failures to Love, we prove to our Self, and to a Divine Witness that we ARE following orders. We are NOT what we DO NOT WANT TO BE. (That’s the Sign of our “I Am.”)

We can see a Divine Reason for everything going on, if that’s what we ALL have to see to Feel the Truth of what we don’t want to be. There’s a Divine Reason for everything, if you look at it from all sides and directions. We can Remember the One Truth of a Divine Balance in the Universe. For all the troubles we’ve seen, the Sacred Exchange is waiting as the extreme on the other end of the scale. The Deer holds the super-power of taking an arrow to the heart that can pass right through. It hurts and there’s a blood offering, but the wound is healed instantly by Living Water.

It hurts to know our Human Nature. The wound is healed when we know we’re no better or worse, by thought, Word, or deed. (Words are “spells.” That’s why they called it “spelling.” ~ Source somewhere on Google)

Other super-powers of the Deer include landscape vision and ears that can aim in independent directions. Visions can come through our peripheral vision. When you seek a connection to your Higher Self, the Holy Spirit’s eyes within, you will receive an Answer to your Prayer. When you receive the Answer as Divine Inspiration, pay attention to the direction. The Deer uses two ears as one to pin-point the exact location of a source of Sound. The Deer’s defense system is carried out standing perfectly still, depending on a Divine Guidance system for the direction and timing of movement.

This is a Day to serve the Lord and to recommit our Heart to the Creator’s  Highest Purpose. For every Offering we bring, humbly admitting how much more we hope to bring, Dedicate your Day to be a Hand in service and wait for the Call. I experienced a Miracle of Love that way on a MANIK Day years ago.

That’s how I set out the Door. I was at rock bottom. I would obey every order in what I thought was my last ditch effort at happiness. I wasn’t half a block from home when I crossed paths with a huge man, waving his arms, yelling, and pointing fingers at people in cars. I thought, “this is it.” I was on my way to a meeting and had to think about it. “Am I supposed to risk my life?” An hour later driving back the Answer was that we are Divinely Protected when we are serving as a Hand of God.

The man was sitting outside the door of Kentucky Fried Chicken. It was a cold windy winter day. I was led to buy him lunch and leave an offering to cover dinner. By the time I’d parked, he’d gone inside and was sitting at the booth closest to the door for as long as he might be allowed to stay. He was the classic profile for everything I was supposed to be afraid of… big and imposing, black skin, and signs of a head injury. I went to the table and said, “Was that you I saw yelling at cars in the intersection?” (Then, I couldn’t believe I said that!) I quickly moved on – “I thought you might have a better day if I bought you lunch.” He only stared in the same imposing look,  but received the offering that was lain on the table. That was it. The Miracle happened after. I bought my own lunch before I left and glanced over as I passed his way. In one look I felt the gratitude for being seen as an equal Human Being. I know it wasn’t me. I asked to serve and that was the first thing I was ordered to do.

It takes Divine Discernment not to “give our self away.” Our Heart knows when there’s no doubts or double-minded thoughts clouding our judgement. Deer/MANIK uses the Element of Water to speak through the Heart. The Deer doesn’t defend the Truth. The Truth stands for itself, when it’s God’s Time the Truth be known.

The Offering of Atonement is the Redemption of our Soul. The Creator intended us to receive the Blessing for all our Good Intentions. Allow yourself, in Humility, to share the credit for what the Creator was capable to do through you when you answered a call. Small acts of kindness matter when we meet another Human Being face to face. We don’t want advice or compliments. Our Human Spirit just wants to know we matter and we’re equal.

Every Human Being is made in the image. We’re wrong to think we’re smarter or more talented than any other Human. Those with Down’s Syndrome have long been a target of discrimination. If you looked from a Divine Point of View, they can be experts at Unconditional Love and Forgiveness.

This is a Day to Count our Blessings for the Divine Ways the Creator heals every wound. The Heart of Sky is opening a Divine Channel of Communion, that we will Know is the Truth by the way we Feel.

love, in lak’ech, i am another you

THE JAGUAR’S EARTH MAGIC OF GRATITUDE:
I’m grateful you can never fail when your Intention is a Divine Cause.

A RITUAL AND SACRED CEREMONY OF GRATITUDE: JOURNEY BEGINNING JULY 5, 2024, 6 JAGUAR/IX
This is a good time to re-dedicate our self to a purpose of counting our blessings every day until the next Jaguar/IX.

July 25, 2024 is 13 Jaguar/IX, the symbol of an Answer to a Prayer of Spirit.
We can reflect on our Highest Hopes and Dreams, and Give thanks for Dreams coming true every day, knowing-without-knowing “this is the way.” We can count our blessings 3 times, morning, noon, and night… and create the Days, yesterday, today and tomorrow.

Another Synchronicity: July 25, 2024, 13 Jaguar/IX, is the Feast Day for “Saint James the Great” by Western Christian traditions. James was a demonstration of overcoming afflictions.

Visit the 13-Day Trecena Guide Page for the “Tzolk’in Field Guide: A Daily Practice for Personal Discernment.” My gift for the Tzolk’in round offers an overview for each 13-day trecena and the aspects of each day of the Tzolk’in round. The page also offers a link to resources for your own practice of counting the days to conceive your own discernment of the Meaning of Time.

4TH SEASON: 1 Wisdom/CIB begins the 4th Season of the Tzolk’in – VOLUME 2: Tzolk’in Seasons 3 and 4 (PUBLISHED SEPTEMBER 20, 2020)

NOTE: You can also look at dates from a different direction. What is the Destiny Kin number of your day sign’s 3rd tone? You may have overlooked a life-changing day. Use the Kin Calculator offered on the Daykeeper’s Resource Page for a date six years before or after. If you are just starting to count the days and don’t have a journal from the last round, when something major happens in your life you can look to see if there was a major event on that same date before. You can also look for Signs in the “distance of time” – the number of days between one day to another.  The Time/Date Calculator is linked on the resources page. Example – 33 days is a symbol of a day that you actualize the Truth from the beginning date.

6 Deer/MANIK (Cherokee, Deer/Ahwu’sdi) – Day 6 of 13 of the 1 Wind/IK trecena

Ian Xel Lungold, 12 Sun/AHAU. Ian’s last Dream was to share his Wisdom among the Legion of Light on the other side

Descriptions by Ian Xel Lungold (12 Sun/AHAU), wisdom and Tzolk’in calculator preserved on MayanMajix.com

Galactic Tone 6: Six is responsiveness and the art of negotiation. It is the movement of volume through space that creates time. This energy in action is like the art of dance or a great athlete in motion. Six facilitates dynamic developments in all aspects of life.

Deer/MANIK (Hand): Deer are spirit tools. Silence itself is a spiritual experience for Deer. For Deer life is a pilgrimage. Deer are dominant persons who defend the people and will make sacrifices for others. The spirit of Deer upholds the pillars of the four directions. With the power inherent in the number four, Deer pushes away bad influences or negative energies. Skill and quality of work are very important to Deer. They are presented with tools for every task in life and it is with these that they are able to rise above limitations. Deer has a habit of keeping every tool it has ever used. This leads to clutter and indecision, loss and procrastination. When confronted with promises not kept, Deer becomes stubborn, manipulative and evasive.

A GOOD DAY TO: Be of service to others.

Cherokee, Deer/Ahwu’sdi: Symbolized by Constellation Galagina, the Stag, known as Taurus, the Bull. It does not include the Pleiades and Hyades clusters which in Cherokee are viewed as separate. To feed, gatherers of food and supplies, they enjoy rituals, ceremonials, feasts, the souls of hospitality, sociability. Freedom versus security issues often inspire leadership and unique solutions.  Combined with artistic and inspiring energies in harmony with lunar cycles, they nourish the clans. Totem-Deer:  A priest or shaman, a powerful person in general, to overwhelm an individual with one’s personal power, divination; inclined to become a teacher, healer, guru, civic leader, or politician.  Ability to create harmonic resonance.

By providing the original text, I hope to offer a way to see what inspired my thoughts and by including all the aspects – allow for something more to inspire you. Mayan descriptions are those written by Ian Lungold. Cherokee descriptions came from multiple sources.
