Sundown, Sept 3, 2024 to Sundown, Oct 2, 2024
Greetings Beloved Kin,
The meaning of Time by the Human calendar, the Tzolk’in, falls in synchronicity with the meaning of the Month of Elul on the Hebrew calendar. September 3 began the trecena of Spirit, 1 Jaguar/IX. Through the Power of the Holy Spirit, we were prepared for a New Life, dedicated to the Highest One. 1 Deer/MANIK carries on the dedicated purpose of restoring Love for thee Salvation of the Whole. We are made worthy by the Choice to follow the Creator’s Highest Mission to Love.
The Straight and Narrow Path
October 2, 2024 falls on the New Moon that begins the cycle that leads to the Blood Moon. The last Harvest before Winter was the Blood Sacrifice, the end of the Hunting Season. Following are the “10 Days of Awe,” by Hebrew tradition. October 2 is 4 Night/AKBAL, stabilizing the Creator’s Dream for our Life in the next trecena, guided by Sun/AHAU.
The end from the beginning of 1 Deer/MANIK is an Ascension of being claimed worthy by the Creator to be Drawn to the Heart of Sky. In the trecena that follows, our walk with the Creator is made real on Earth, as it is in Heaven. The “10 Days of Awe” lead to October 12, 2024, 1 Reed/BEN, the Sanctuary and altar where we are connected to the Highest One by a channel of Light through which we carry out a Communion of Spirits.
Deer/MANIK is the bringer of Spiritual Tools, the Sacred Signs and Symbols that uphold our Faith in remembering the ways of the Human Saints who came before. The Mayan priest holds the medicine bundle passed down by the generations of Mayan priests who came before. MANIK’s highest tool is the Staff that represents the Creator’s Divine Provision for every Human limitation. By Hebrew tradition, the highest tool is the Shofar that was blown throughout the Holy Days, and also as we enter the war against Powers of Evil.
God Time Blog by Debi, shares the meaning of Elul and the Shofar, in her post, “ELUL: What God Wants from You This Month.” As we consider how we will dedicate our own life to the Mission of Love, the Hebrew calendar offers Inspiration from generations of the Faithful who walked this way before.
EXCERPT from Fairchild, Mary. “A Bible Calendar for the Feast of Trumpets and Other Jewish Holidays.” Learn Religions, April 17, 2019, learnreligions.com/bible-feasts-calendar-700160.
Elul is the Month of Blowing the Shofar.
The Bible teaches that the shofar is the trumpet of God. The blowing of the shofar is still meant to serve important biblical purposes including: the sound for war, the announcing of the coronation of the King and announcing the fall season of Elul, Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur and Sukkot. Elul is called “the month of repentance,” “the month of mercy,” and “the month of forgiveness”. Who do you need to forgive this month before you go before God during His High Holy Days? To prepare for next month, you should search your soul to make sure that you are in right standing with God. Reflect upon your spiritual walk with God. Are you slipping into darkness? Are you doing the will of God? Does your life reflect your faith? Can anyone see “Jesus / Yeshua” in the way you live your life? Spend some time in prayer. Ask people to forgive you if you have done them wrong.
The people of Israel have an interesting phrase to describe this month. They say, “Elul is the month when “the King is in the field,” all can approach Him, and He shines His countenance upon everyone. As you begin to understand the meaning of this phrase, you will see how God wants to relate to you during these days. Through most of the year, a king lived in a palace, protected by armed guards and iron gates. To have an audience with a king you had to make an appointment, learn palace protocol, and dress appropriately.
In Elul “the King is in the field”, which theoretically means the king leaves his throne and comes to meet you in your field; wherever your field is– the field of science, field of government, agricultural field, entertainment field, oil field, field of medicine, etc.
A teaching by Larry Huch Ministries called the “Sounding the Shofar!” gives one of the best explanations. Here is an excerpt from the teaching.
Sounding the Shofar
What makes a person successful? What causes someone to accomplish and succeed in great things? How does a Christian overcome the attacks of the adversary? There are many principles and guidelines in the Bible we could point out. God has a powerful faith-building and devil-defeating Word for every circumstance! What God has to say about the shofar – the ram’s horn – is a powerful revelation in the bible on how to walk in the blessing, peace, joy, and victory in every area of life!
The shofar, which is commonly known as the trumpet of God has been hidden from most Christians. It’s taken nearly 2,000 years to rediscover its blessings and benefits.
Sounding the shofar you will release God’s anointing and power to accomplish many amazing things including:
- Being awakened from any spiritual slumber and out of any spiritual sluggishness
- Breaking the power of any deception so spiritually you begin to see clearly
- Defeating the enemies that have been coming against you
- Reminding you that God’s appointed time for a blessing is approaching
- Get you back on track with loving God and loving people
The foundation for this teaching comes from Numbers 10: 9,10:
“When you go to war in your land against the enemy who oppresses you, then you shall sound an alarm with the trumpets, and you will be remembered before the LORD your God, and you will be saved from your enemies.
Also in the day of your gladness, in your appointed feasts, and at the beginning of your months, you shall blow the trumpets over your burnt offerings and over the sacrifices of your peace offerings; and they shall be a memorial for you before your God: I am the LORD your God.”
The Haab Month of Chen
In the month of Chen wooden effigies were created as images of God that would be brought to the temple in the month that follows. As the living “trees of life” our Highest Intention in the trecena of MANIK is to make our self into the image of the Holy One.
By the tradition of Vedic astrology, Punniet describes a Transit of the Sun from September 13 to September 27, 2024, that expands our relationship with the Creator, and also reveals the Truth of our “friends” from our “enemies.” It’s a time of personal challenges to remain faithful.
The first blessing listed for the Shofar’s call, “Being awakened from spiritual slumber or sluggishness” has been the Truth by my own experience these past few days. This is a sign of the evil one at work in the attempt to steal our blessings. The only thing to do is to carry on just the same. Remaining faithful to morning prayers and reading Psalm 27 remains an effective Spiritual Tool. We won’t always “feel” the fire of God’s presence. That’s when it’s most important to carry on. The “King is in the Field” close enough to feel the challenge to our Faith. God will come running, when we don’t depend on Human feelings, and we carry on in Faith. Don’t be deceived by Times you don’t “feel” the presence of God. The Promise of a Divine Provision is for All Times.
The path of the zealot is not a stable path. The narrow road is a journey of “sobriety” that doesn’t rely on excitement or human emotions to carry on.
love, in lak’ech, “i am another you”

The Galactic Week of your Mayan birthday reflects the Mission conceived for your Life. Your Mayan birthday is the Role you play in the Creation.
Galactic Tone 1: Unity. One is the beginning of all things, the first, the whole and the all in one. One’s are assertive and self-guided and give a good push to whatever project they are associated with. One persons work best when meeting a challenge. Do not expect One-persons to be attentive to details or to put the finishing touches on things.
Deer/MANIK (Hand): Deer are spirit tools. Silence itself is a spiritual experience for Deer. For Deer life is a pilgrimage. Deer are dominant persons who defend the people and will make sacrifices for others. The spirit of Deer upholds the pillars of the four directions. With the power inherent in the number four, Deer pushes away bad influences or negative energies. Skill and quality of work are very important to Deer. They are presented with tools for every task in life and it is with these that they are able to rise above limitations. Deer has a habit of keeping every tool it has ever used. This leads to clutter and indecision, loss and procrastination. When confronted with promises not kept, Deer becomes stubborn, manipulative and evasive.
A GOOD DAY TO: Be of Service to others.
Cherokee, Deer/Ahwu’sdi: Symbolized by Constellation Galagina, the Stag, known as Taurus, the Bull. It does not include the Pleiades and Hyades clusters which in Cherokee are viewed as separate. To feed, gatherers of food and supplies, they enjoy rituals, ceremonials, feasts, the souls of hospitality, sociability. Freedom versus security issues often inspire leadership and unique solutions. Combined with artistic and inspiring energies in harmony with lunar cycles, they nourish the clans. Totem-Deer: A priest or shaman, a powerful person in general, to overwhelm an individual with one’s personal power, divination; inclined to become a teacher, healer, guru, civic leader, or politician. Ability to create harmonic resonance.
