SPACEWEATHER: Geomagnetic Storm Watch for Thanksgiving Day, and Black Auroras

The Light, and the Darkness of the Unknown

SPACEWEATHER.COM NEWS: 11/28/2024

THANKSGIVING GEOMAGNETIC STORM WATCH: A G2-class geomagnetic storm is possible on Nov. 28-29 when a CME is expected to hit Earth’s magnetic field. The CME was hurled into space by a magnetic filament attached to sunspot 3901, which erupted on Nov. 25th. There is a chance this CME will sail south of Earth with little to no contact, so this is a low probability forecast.

BLACK AURORAS OVER ALASKA?

Todd Salat is a veteran photographer of auroras in Alaska. For years he has chased the lights and seen most of what Mother Nature has to offer. But even he was puzzled on Nov. 22nd when these strangely-shaped auroras appeared overhead.

“I saw these bizarre auroras drift over southcentral Alaska around 4 am last Friday morning,” says Salat. “It came up from the northwest and I was like, whoa! It looked like the letter E to me.”

Salat may have witnessed an episode of ‘black auroras.’ They are dark rings or black blobs that sometimes appear in an otherwise ordinary expanse of auroral light. For example, look at Figure 1 in this research paper on the topic. Some researchers call them “anti-auroras.” The black auroras in Salat’s photo are circled here.

Ordinary auroras are caused by electrons raining down from space. Black auroras are the opposite. Instead of electrons raining down, electrons are propelled upwards back into space. Europe’s fleet of Cluster spacecraft flew over a black aurora on Jan. 14, 2001, and saw the process in action:

Sensors onboard the spaceraft detected strong positive electric fields in the black aurora zone. These fields reversed the normal downward rain of aurora-causing electrons.

The study of black auroras is still in its infancy, and forecasters cannot yet predict when or where they might appear. Aurora watchers, the next time a geomagnetic storm erupts, be alert for black.

Mayan Time

9 Sun/AHAU completes a cycle of Empowerment. Time is ordered for Giving Back and Paying Forward our Gratitude and Thanksgiving for the Light of Life, Love, and Happiness. The Light of Divine Inspiration accelerates tomorrow as we enter the 6th uinal, the Highest Order of Intention and a Force of Momentum created by a rhythm and pattern of movement of reaching to the Creator through Faith in the Divine Source that is the Highest Power at the center of “Earth’s universe.” Tone 9 calls for patience to see the Big Picture and the Truth of a Power greater than anything on Earth. The Road/EB 13-day galactic week raises the Light on the Road of Human’s Destiny, the journey through Time.

My gift for the Tzolk’in round is the “Tzolk’in Field Guide: A Daily Practice for Personal Discernment.” Volume 1 covers the first two seasons of the Tzolk’in round. The “Field Guide” is available to download from a link on the 13-day Trecena Guide Page.

Tracking your thoughts during one 13-day trecena, you will see the synchronicity of Time, and an ascension as the answer to a prayer you hold as an Intention of thought from the beginning of a Wave of Vibration ordered for Creation.

The Road/EB trecena is part of Season 2, found in Volume 1.

Galactic Tone 9: Patience. The energy of Nine is one of the getting a better perspective of the bigger picture. With the energy of Nine plans or patterns begin to come to completion. Nine requires patience and perseverance that is found in the bigger picture, otherwise there is great suffering from the lack of insight. The completion of cycles of action is all-important to Nine.

Sun/AHAU: Day of the ancestors and connection to their guidance. The divine face of the sun – lord, musician, singer, dancer, and marksman. Suns are artistic, heroic athletes, visionaries with wise judgment who lead and defend the people. So much is expected from themselves and by other people that unfulfilled expectations are a certainty. An accumulation of these disappointments may lead Sun to evade responsibilities, not accept corrections and even build resentment and disdain towards others. Suns should simplify their lives to be able to rise and shine with unconditional love once again.

A GOOD DAY TO: Ask for the Wisdom and the continued honored memory of our Ancestors.

Cherokee, Flower/GUN’TSI EK: Symbol is the Sun, place of abode of Great Spirit. The Sun creates, nurtures, and is the super communicator, the way station that relays messages and energy from other stars in the galaxy; provides energy for channeling information from the Ancestors; speaking the Living Language of Light, which ignites the consciousness in others. Gold is the color of courage and opportunity of wealth. Creative arts, master craftsman expressing divinity and wisdom through their creations. The face of the flower follows the Sun gathering the fire of creativity, illuminating harmony and balance, resonating peace and continuity within the human spirit. This is the Sign of the Chalice of the Infinite, Caldron of Creation.
