X Marks a Spot Tonight and Spring Airglow

TONIGHT! BE ALERT FOR THE ‘LUNAR X’: Have you seen the Lunar X? Once a month, when the sun rises over Crater Werner in the Moon’s southern hemisphere, sunlight grazes the region’s high terrain and makes a criss-cross shape 50 miles wide. It’s the Moon’s own alpenglow. The “X” is due to appear today, Thursday, March 6th, around 18:25 CST  (12:25 AM Friday, UTC).

 

THESE GREEN RIPPLES ARE NOT AURORAS: Green is a color we associate with Spring. It is fitting, then, that the approach of northern Spring is making green ripples in the sky. Aaron Watson photographed the phenomenon on Feb. 28th from the West Elk Mountains of Colorado:

“I was out stargazing and noticed what appeared to be dark streaks across the sky,” says Watson. “The sky looked bright like there were high altitude clouds, and the dark streaks looked like clear patches. A 20 second exposure with the Nikon D750 revealed the green glow.”

This is airglow, a verdant emission produced by photochemistry in Earth’s upper atmosphere. You’ve probably seen it in pictures taken from the ISS; it’s that thin shell of green light surrounding our planet.

Spring is airglow season mainly because of springtime thunderstorms. Updrafts from convective storm cells batter the upper atmosphere from below, creating a bulls-eye pattern of pressure waves. These rippling waves amplify airglow, creating scenes like Watson recorded in Colorado. Multiple storms can even create interference patterns–a must-see!

Mayan Time

The glyph for 3 Flint/ETZNAB is an “X” that marks a Day when an unexpected Truth is revealed. What was hidden or covered up is brought to Light for the purpose of sweeping the slate clean on our Road to Destiny. Flint can present the Truth that was hidden in plain sight. We witnessed the Truth but we didn’t see it when it was presented out of context, or we didn’t want to accept the Truth. Flint is compared to static energy. Everyone can be triggered by the Truth on Flint Days. It’s best to stay home and think about it, to avoid sharing our knee-jerk response. We won’t have to say a word. When someone lies on Flint Day, say nothing. The Truth will be written on everyone’s face. Flint changes static energy into the dynamic energy of Truth that holds the power to set us free.

The Truth revealed in the 10th uinal is a Sign of an Act of God. There’s a Divine Time to know, when the Truth bears out by the Wisdom of our own experience.

Galactic Tone 3: Action. Three is basic movement and communication, which begins as a vibration. Three energy is very eloquent in all types of self-expression. Communication is how Three establishes a point of agreement between any point “A” and any point “B”. Three persons are rhythmic to the core and are often restless, as motion is their nature. By working closely with the energy of Three, any person becomes more able to predict motions of all kinds.

Flint/ETZNAB: Mirror of reality. As a struck flint, these persons are the divine sparks of intelligence. Flint’s innate abilities are utilized to discriminate emotions from fact. Flint persons stand tireless to protect, defend, or cure others by personal sacrifice. By courageously wielding the sword of truth, falsehoods are cut away. Flints, it was said, can receive information on inter-personal troubles or evil plots of others by reflecting in an obsidian mirror. Their valiant service as warriors of the truth must be impeccable or they will experience sufferings of accidents, misunderstandings and gossip.

A GOOD DAY TO: Spent Time in Reflection and Introspection

Cherokee, Flint/DAWI’SGALA: Flint’s symbol is Chawa’ or Castor of the Castor and Pollux Twins in Gemini.  Castor appears in the evening personifying darkness. Pollux then appears in the east at dawn to end the night. Totem is a Flint Knife.  Flint spirit shone a light like the sun and gave the people the Sacred Venus Calendar, fixed the days and promised to watch over the earthlings.  A flint person endeavors to keep that covenant.  Opener of the Way, a creator, innovator, stretches the mind to outside limits of capabilities. Changes the static to the dynamic.  Brings about change, often through separation and destruction.  Beams the Stellar Ray of Truth to Earth as a crystal sword cast down along the path of a lightning flash. The transformer brings things to a head and wipes the slate clean.
