The Elders say…
Greetings Beloved Kin,
In the beginning of my journal, I often quoted what “Minisa says.” By her words she encouraged me to say, “the Elders say.” It honors the long line of Sacred Wisdom passed down through generations of Grandfathers and Grandmothers, preserved as our Divine Inheritance. This morning she shared the art that honors her Lightning Clan, and I am drawn to share healing ways of the Elders that can serve us well in these Times.
Minisa always said that it takes courage to follow a path of transformation. Our souls are cracked open when we face the Truth. Every breakthrough is a breakdown of an attachment to a Dream of the world we long to be the Truth. Change is a journey of blood, sweat, and tears.
The wild berries of Spring are honored as the first harvest, tended by the Hand of God. Berries are among the superfoods on the planet. Food was scarce by the end of Winter. They were a miracle to be found, the first offering to a New Life.

Red Deer, Minisa Crumbo Halsey – 8 Deer/MANIK is the Initiation Day of the Mayan priest, a dedicated daily path of Vigilant Consciousness on behalf of the whole and he symbol of Divine Protection that stands silently in the service of Love.
Minisa’s Words are well measured. Give breath to the Light and don’t give breath to the Darkness. Words create our reality. There is a Time to speak the Truth that weighs on the Heart and that’s’ the breakdown. I’ve had a few breakdowns on the land at Spirit Horse Ranch. Straight away, Minisa would lead me outside, have me lay face down on Earth where she threw a blanket over me, while she built the sacred fire to burn away the flesh of the “hollow bone.”
Earth grounds our energy and the Mother Heals us. It’s a very good thing to run to the Mother and press your whole body into her arms. Our Mother Earth knows where we are and feels what every Mother feels in the heart of her child. In Times like these, our sacred medicine bundle needs tools such as this as surely as the rituals and sacred ceremonies passed down by every tradition. We create our own “creation stories” from the proven and worthy tools of our ancestors. Old ways are cellular memories, written in our DNA that our body remembers.

Art is a sacred exchange born of the energy of Intention. Minisa’s father noted the power of empty space on a canvas as a place for the beholder to engage their own energy. Sometimes it’s the Words we don’t say that carry the greatest weight.
Minisa taught a way of sending Love from the gratitude of the heart. Spend time in meditation counting your blessings for the one who would receive. When the heart is moved by the quickening (CHICCHAN), direct all the energy to the Father, then let it go. The Great Spirit directs the energy to the heart of the receiver. We can do the same for our “enemies” through the Compassionate Heart of the Savior. Every lost soul bears a wound that hasn’t been healed for the lack of understanding “the troubles we’ve seen.” It’s easy to find our heart attached to the pain of the injustice instead of the resolution of Love.
We were all born with a Gift that only we can share through whatever work or vocation we have been guided to follow. The greatest treasure we have to share is Understanding and Feeling for one another. God’s Word is Love, and the energy of Love never returns void of its Divine Purpose.
One of our challenges is our attachment to what the world thinks. We’ve been carefully taught that the Divine Powers of Spirit are taboo. Consider the source of every illusion that divides us one from another. We have to let go of what the world thinks. It should be clear that the majority doesn’t think for themselves, but goes along in the search of belonging.
In this year of Wind/IK, we can let God the Father do the talking. We can listen. In the silence we receive the Light of Truth that we can share straight from the Heart. Truth will speak for itself in Divine Time. Wind/IK’s intention is to create chaos out of an existing order of thoughts. Tracking the mind all our thoughts are worthy to write down. In Time we finally hear what we’re saying to our self, and through our force of nature, what we are saying through our energy everywhere we go.
Offering/MULUC showed us the way to Give Back and Pay Forward the Creator’s Unconditional Love. We can not hear one another when we’re speaking. The Jaguar’s way of Spirit is the choice to be invisible so we can hear and see beyond the limits of our own mind and our own answer. There is something to see and hear in every conversation that can open our Heart to the Truth and the pain of longing to belong.
As I was learning to listen, I found that everyone reveals something they love. It isn’t often the topic of conversation, but a side note of love under cover. When a mother talks about her children’s soccer practice last night, her heart is engaged in the Love of her child. That’s what a mother would love to talk about. Listen for the clues of Love’s expression that is held close to the heart. We reveal our Love with hesitation for what someone else will think if we say more than someone else wants to hear. When you don’t know what to say, there is comfort in the silence of just being there to listen.
It’s time to gather our Spiritual Tools before the work begins. Every way of beauty and every Truth of Love is received from the Heart of our Creator. It won’t be an easy journey, though the journey to love guarantees we’ll real-ize Peace beyond understanding when the Creator listens and shares the Answer to our prayers. Our blood, sweat, and tears is the offering for the Salvation of the whole.
The Creator’s highest order is to Love One Another, as we would Dream to be loved in return. God has a plan for every child of God and nothing in the world can change it.
TODAY is the first full 24 hours of the Light of a New Sun. 2 Night/AKBAL is a Higher Order that opens the Heart and Cracks the Soul for the Creator’s Voice to speak to our Heart and Soul of the Truth that is meant to be. The world’s illusion is Darkness, and the Truth is the Light.
love, in lak’ ech, i am another you
in gratitude for all the wisdom that has come before and preserved by God for us to know.

Galactic Tone 1: Unity. One is the beginning of all things, the first, the whole and the all in one. One’s are assertive and self-guided and give a good push to whatever project they are associated with. One persons work best when meeting a challenge. Do not expect One-persons to be attentive to details or to put the finishing touches on things.
Wind/IK: Breath of Spirit, breath of life. Winds embody the power of dissemination and planting of good seeds or ideas. Dreamers and planners with powerful imaginations, Wind persons make great orators and they spread the word of spiritual inspiration as it is carried by the wind. Wind is the power behind the movement of natural cycles such as weather, erosion, and cultural change. As the wind, these persons are extremely changeable and adaptable. They may appear inconsistent or fickle to others. Wind can be destructive to self and others by putting on airs. When Winds strut and boast, expanding on facts and accomplishments, they are building the dark clouds of trouble that may become hurricanes.
A GOOD DAY TO: Send Communications of all kinds.
Cherokee, Whirlwind/AGALU’GA: Whirlwind’s symbol is a double spiral helix in rising smoke. Wind brings energy for an Inquiring mind, learning and wisdom. In Cherokee, the constellations are represented by 12 birds (dancers), the 13th bird is the Whirlwind, the lead dancer. This reflects the whirling of life. Wind is the breath of the Universe, the channel of communication that carries the Sacred Smoke to the Great Spirit.
