Pope Leo XIV has chosen a motto that reflects his alignment with the Augustinian tradition: In Illo uno unum, which means “In the One, we are one.” (Source: Vatican News)
A Divine Meaning and Purpose in ALL Things
Greetings Beloved Kin,
I wondered how the name Pope Leo XIV was chosen and found that each pope chooses their own name, which represents an association with ones who came before. Pope Leo X was chosen in a Year of Jubilee and is remembered for the beginning of The Reformation, a major change in Catholic service in the interest of equality.
In his time Martin Luther questioned a practice of selling letters that guaranteed the release from purgatory. In essence, a practice that enriched the church through donations that amounted to a guarantee of salvation. It became a privilege of the elite. Martin Luther questioned any Pope’s authority as the final word, encouraging that redemption was completed in the heart of the sinner in direct communion with God. (The Vatican has been transformed by its own “dark ages”.)
Every element of the apparel chosen by the Pope is a symbol with a meaning. Pope Francis chose humble apparel to symbolize his oneness with the people. Pope Leo XIV is following some of Pope Francis’ traditions, foregoing the red shoes in favor of a common pair of black shoes. Pope Francis was known for his well worn shoes.
If history repeats itself by Intention, we could see major reform in Holy thought and practice that leans in the favor of the harmony and equality of the whole.
The Vatican News website offers the meanings and symbolism in choices made that reflect “sympatico” with another Time, in another Year of Jubilee. Wearing the white cape and scull cap are symbols of Humility.
The Pope’s brother noted that he was so devout in his spiritual practices as a child that it was remarked that someday he could become Pope.
There is so much Light to see beyond the veil, when we follow the questions of Divine Inspiration. You have to follow the rabbit trails to find it.
As for the Mayan calendar, the new Pope was named on the 1st Day by the Northern count of the Human calendar, at the Dawn of a New Awakening. The Year of Jubilee symbolizes a redemption, a release from debts of the past with double-blessings, and opens doors to a New Life. Pope Leo XIV was named on 1 Crocodile/IMIX by Mayan Time, May 8, 2025 (05/08/2025). 8 is the symbol of Justice in Harmony with the whole, and the Zenith Hour of Light. (“The 14th” is a symbol of 5, a symbol of Empowerment and Change.) Pope Leo XIV is also a “first” American pope – of the people in need of a new beginning.
John 4:48 KJV
48 Then said Jesus unto him, Except ye see signs and wonders, ye will not believe.
We have to look beyond our differences and our bias of Faith to discover God is present in every church. Every human organization reflects the Truth of Human Limitations. By Divine Provision, God reveals himself to every Heart that reaches to know him. The Truth beyond the veil that we CAN see is that God never fails.
God’s sanctuary lives in the hearts of those who love him.
much love, in lak’ech

3 Night/AKBAL (Cherokee, Hearth/O’YA) – Day 3 of 13 of the 1 Crocodile/IMIX trecena

Galactic Tone 3: Action. Three is basic movement and communication, which begins as a vibration. Three energy is very eloquent in all types of self-expression. Communication is how Three establishes a point of agreement between any point “A” and any point “B”. Three persons are rhythmic to the core and are often restless, as motion is their nature. By working closely with the energy of Three, any person becomes more able to predict motions of all kinds.
Night/Akbal: Bringers of the Dawn. Dreamers who bring the new sun to clarify and illuminate the road of life. Thus the insecurities and doubts born of darkness of the sub-conscious mind are dispelled. These persons travel the Void. a place where nothing yet exists but all potential dwells, the womb of creation. From this void, Night persons bring forth new solutions and artistic inspiration. Night’s voyages of dreams build confidence and happiness with a sense of well being. If night does not bravely journey into the void they may find themselves wandering the darkness of self doubt and insecurity.
A GOOD DAY TO: Spend some time contemplating the stars.
Cherokee, Hearth/O’YA: Hearth’s symbol is the fire pit in the Center, velvet black as the night. The triangle in Orion. The M42 nebula (home of the Central race from the WingMakers) in the center of the triangle of Orion is the fire in the Hearth, also matching the Mayan. The Hearth is the Torchbearer who holds the light and warmth throughout the night, much as the Owl described above. Belief is so strong that the surrounding elements become entrained to their rhythm and all resistance falls away. With respect and honor of intuition combined with knowledge this energy creates the magic of the center in this dimension. Totem-OWL,Guardian of the Night Sun. Energies for the opening of mystic secrets, see through the masks of deception, trickery. High ability of discernment. Portals open to other worlds and dimensions for your learning and spiritual growth. Magical abilities are possible.
