Noctilucent Clouds, Taken by Alan C Tough on June 4, 2025 @ Elgin, Moray, Scotland, UK
SPACEWEATHER.COM NEWS: 06/05/2025
THEY’RE BACK! NOCTILUCENT CLOUD SEASON BEGINS: A ring of frosted meteor smoke is forming around the Arctic Circle, kicking off the 2025 season for noctilucent clouds (NLCs). Alan C. Tough saw them on June 4th from Elgin, Moray, Scotland:

“During our summer months, the sky in the north of Scotland never gets dark enough for auroras,” says Tough. “However, as compensation, we get to see these spectacular, ethereal, electric-blue NLCs.”
NLCs are Earth’s highest clouds. Floating at the edge of space about 83 km above the ground, they form when summertime wisps of water vapor rise up to the mesosphere, allowing water to crystallize around specks of meteor smoke. The season for bright naked-eye NLCs typically stretches from June through August.
Usually NLCs in early June are confined to high latitudes, but the clouds may have been sighted on June 3rd as far south as Treviso, Italy (+45 N). This means mid-latitude observers should be alert for NLCs as well. Pro tip: Look west 30 to 60 minutes after sunset when the sun has dipped ~10 or more degrees below the horizon. That’s the best geometry for seeing the electric-blue ripples.

GEOMAGNETIC STORM WATCH (G2): NOAA forecasters say that moderate (G2-class) geomagnetic storms are possible on June 5th as Earth enters a high-speed stream of solar wind. The gaseous material is blowing faster than 700 km/s from a hole in the sun’s atmosphere.

Galactic Tone 3: Action. Three is basic movement and communication, which begins as a vibration. Three energy is very eloquent in all types of self-expression. Communication is how Three establishes a point of agreement between any point “A” and any point “B”. Three persons are rhythmic to the core and are often restless, as motion is their nature. By working closely with the energy of Three, any person becomes more able to predict motions of all kinds.
Offering/MULUC: Also known as the sign of water. Ceremonially, Maya use water as an offering in baptisms and purifications. These ceremonies are done to bring about a collective strength, adaptability and harmony. In sincere appreciation, Offering people gladly give more than they ask for themselves. Offering persons are dynamic communicators with great intelligence making them excellent employers. Like a shaken vessel of water, Offering people regain equilibrium quickly. Also like a body of water, there may be deep undercurrents of emotion and hidden dangers. Others perceive these as hidden agendas in offering people and so extend them little trust and may even slap blame on them.
A GOOD DAY TO: Offer appreciation for all of creation.
Cherokee, The River/YUN’WI GUNNAHI’TA: The River is symbolized by The Milky Way, the Gihli’Utsun’stanun’yi “Where the Dog Ran” to gather the souls for Heaven. The River is the minion for Grandfather Moon. Long Man is the personification of the River stretching from the mountains to the lowlands, speaking to those who can understand. People of this sign find “sermons in the stones” and good in everything. These souls march to a different drummer, driven by inner volcanic forces. The River is the “Fountain of Life” and represents the fluid of the cosmos to fluids in the body, with the energy to clear all karmic debts, personally and on a mass level with fluidity and grace. The Moon controls our fluid cycle, to clear and understand emotional issues. When you take this step to clear the emotional body, then you are ready for transformational energies at the next level. As humans, our actions are ruled by our emotions, the key is to understand the connection and honor the emotions.
