X-CLASS SOLAR FLARE: Sunspots 4114 and 4115 erupted in quick succession on June 17th, together producing an X1.2-class solar flare (2149 UTC). NASA’s Solar Dynamics Observatory captured the ultraviolet double flash:
The explosion caused a shortwave radio blackout over the Pacific Ocean centered on Hawaii. Ham radio operators in the area may have noticed a loss of signal at frequencies below 25 MHz.
So far, there is no evidence of a CME associated with this flare. The individual explosions were too brief to lift a cloud of debris out of the sun’s atmosphere.
Another flare may be in the offing today. Sunspot 4114 is large and unstable, with a ‘delta-class’ magnetic field that harbors energy for strong explosions. Stay tuned!
NAKED-EYE NOVA IN THE SOUTHERN HEMISPHERE: A star in the southern constellation Lupus exploded on June 12th and has rapidly brightened to naked-eye visibility. Dawid Moździerski photographed the nova this morning from the Atacama desert of Chile. He says “it is now at magnitude +5.7,” or about 4 million times brighter than it was last week. Galactic Tone 3: Action. Three is basic movement and communication, which begins as a vibration. Three energy is very eloquent in all types of self-expression. Communication is how Three establishes a point of agreement between any point “A” and any point “B”. Three persons are rhythmic to the core and are often restless, as motion is their nature. By working closely with the energy of Three, any person becomes more able to predict motions of all kinds.
Wind/IK: Breath of Spirit, breath of life. Winds embody the power of dissemination and planting of good seeds or ideas. Dreamers and planners with powerful imaginations, Wind persons make great orators and they spread the word of spiritual inspiration as it is carried by the wind. Wind is the power behind the movement of natural cycles such as weather, erosion, and cultural change. As the wind, these persons are extremely changeable and adaptable. They may appear inconsistent or fickle to others. Wind can be destructive to self and others by putting on airs. When Winds strut and boast, expanding on facts and accomplishments, they are building the dark clouds of trouble that may become hurricanes.
A GOOD DAY TO: Send communications of all kinds.
Cherokee, Whirlwind/AGALU’GA: Whirlwind’s symbol is a double spiral helix in rising smoke. Wind brings energy for an Inquiring mind, learning and wisdom. In Cherokee, the constellations are represented by 12 birds (dancers), the 13th bird is the Whirlwind, the lead dancer. This reflects the whirling of life. Wind is the breath of the Universe (matching the Mayan symbol) channel of communication and carries the Sacred Smoke to the Great Spirit (Source- Hunab Ku in Mayan); matches the pulse of the breath of the Cosmos.
