SPACEWEATHER: Storms on Jupiter; Accelerating Solar Winds on Earth

Storms Above and Winds Below

SPACEWEATHER.COM NEWS: 06/27/2025

A STORMY MASTERPIECE: Amateur astronomer Peter Rosen has released a jaw-dropping new film of Jupiter’s storm systems that looks like it came straight from a spacecraft in orbit. However, this cinematic tour of the gas giant was crafted right here on Earth. Play the movie, and note that almost every frame came from a telescope in someone’s backyard:

“In the late 2024 and early 2025, I downloaded thousands of still images of Jupiter taken by amateur planetary photographers from around the world,” explains Rosen. “They were taken as part of a Pro-Am collaboration for NASA’s Juno mission to Jupiter.”

What Rosen did next is unprecedented. “Absolutely no AI has been used,” he says. “It is more like putting together a 5000-pieces puzzle, but you first have to construct every piece manually one by one!”

The resulting video tracks dozens of storm systems circling Jupiter over a 3 month period. “A jetstream disturbance in Jan. 2025 looks like a comet rampaging around the planet at 650 km/h while gobbling gases from nearby regions and leaving them with big scars,” marvels Rosen. Here’s a finderchart of the most important storms.

The biggest surprise of all is Jupiter’s north polar cyclone:

“This was a big revelation to me,” says Rosen. “In 2016, Juno found the cyclone surrounded by 8 smaller vortices. I could never have imagined that they could be detected in telescopic images taken by amateurs from our planet 920 million kilometers away–but there they are.”

“This is my second project for the Juno Pro-Am collaboration. The first one was produced 8 years ago,” he concludes. “I want to thank all the skilled amateurs from around the world who made this possible.”

SOLAR WIND STORM IN PROGRESS: Today, a stream of solar wind is blowing around Earth faster than 700 km/s (1.6 million mph). This is causing minor G1-class geomagnetic storms and auroras in some northern US states. Wind speeds should remain high for another 24 hours.

Mayan Calendar Time and Synchronicity

The Full Thunder Moon is a cycle of thunderstorms that are the Sign to turn to a sanctuary within. In the trecena of Sun/AHAU the Intention is a Revelation that God is always waiting for us to turn “home.” We wouldn’t “fight a thunderstorm.” God fights the battles that are beyond Human’s reach. The answer is letting go.

The only way to realize Peace beyond Understanding is in the middle of a storm.

To those who choose and ask to know:

Isaiah 43:1 NIV
43 But now, this is what the Lord says—
he who created you, Jacob,
he who formed you, Israel:
“Do not fear, for I have redeemed you;
I have summoned you by name; you are mine.”

The “Tzolk’in Field Guide” is my gift to download that includes the Count of Days with the aspects for each Destiny Kin and highlights for a personal practice with each trecena. It’s designed as a companion for daily practice.

Visit the 13-Day Trecena Guide. to download a free copy. Volume 1 covers the first two seasons of the Tzolk’in, and Volume 2 covers the 3rd and 4th to the end of the Tzolk’in round.

12 Monkey/CHUEN (Cherokee, Raccoon/KVH’LI) – Day 12 of 13 of the 1 Sun/AHAU trecena

Descriptions by Ian Xel Lungold (12 Sun/AHAU), wisdom and Tzolk’in FREE CALCULATOR preserved on MayanMajix.com.

Galactic Tone 12: Understanding. This number’s energy is a gift of great capability, of retrospection. It is this ability that allows Twelve to connect disassociated parts into a (new) functioning whole. The energy of Twelve is that which presents a new piece of understood information or accumulated experience to be applied.

Monkey/CHUEN: Monkey is known to the Maya as the Weaver or Weaver of Time. Monkey takes ideas as threads of vines and weaves them into the fabric of our reality. New patterns or inventions are also woven into our lives by Monkey. Amiable, intelligent, generous and a jack of all trades, Monkey’s innocent curiosity leads to artistic expression and constructive solutions. Many Monkeys become highly respected merchants or speakers. They love performing practical jokes and crave attention, so much so that they may over-act or play the fool to get the spotlight. Monkeys have a short attention span and find it difficult to stay with anything long enough to master it.

A GOOD TIME TO: Begin anything new in your life.

Cherokee, Raccoon/KVH’LI: Star Symbol: Algol, a star in Perseus. Restless energy yearning for long-lost love. Algol was named DEMON STAR or MISCHIEVOUS ONE by the Ancients because it winks and fades at times. Raccoons are full of friendly mischief, eager to swap kisses for candy; magnetic leaders, full of humor and gaiety. Favorite food is corn, the mainstay of the Cherokee. Very artistic while being the “masked bandit” who steals your heart.

The Raccoon is not above stealing treasures human throws in the trash, knowing that living water can wash it up like new.
