So, Anything can happen.
A RARE GATHERING OF SOLAR SYSTEM OBJECTS: All month long, NOAA and SOHO coronagraphs have been watching a very rare event. Mars, Venus and Mercury have gathered near the sun for a multi-planet solar conjunction. On Jan. 18th, “rare” became “unprecedented” when the Moon joined the planets and eclipsed Mars. Click to set the scene in motion:
This view is unprecedented because the CCOR-1 coronagraph on NOAA’s GOES-19 satellite is the first space-based coronagraph to photograph the Moon. GOES-19 orbits Earth, so it sees the New Moon once a month when it passes between the Earth and sun. (Yes, that Moon is New. It only looks full because it is illuminated by sunlight reflected from Earth.)
In the movie, the New Moon passes directly in front of Mars before it joins the sun behind the coronagraph’s occulting disk. On the left, a sungrazing comet plunges toward the sun. It disintegrated soon after the movie’s end. This is indeed a rare sequence of events.
We didn’t report this extraordinary movie until now because our attention was distracted. Just before the Moon entered the coronagraph’s field of view on Jan. 18th, a tremendous X2-class solar flare erupted and hurled a superfast CME toward Earth. The rest of the week was spent covering the subsequent severe geomagnetic storm. Better late than never!

QUIET WEEKEND: The sun is peppered with spots–at least 9 sunspot groups). Nevertheless, solar activity is expected to be low this weekend. All of those sunspots have stable magnetic fields that are unlikely to explode.
We’ve heard that before when x-class flares were projected from unlikely sunspots.

Wind/IK represents the Power of the Word to reach its end. It’s impossible to predict an Act of God. Death isn’t the end when we’re swept up by the Heart of Sky. A crowd is gathering in the heavenly vault. In the Eye of the Storm we are surrounded by Light.
All things happen in God’s Time. He’s the last word on the weather. It’s a Day to stand in faith for what God shall do, and to look to the Light and listen for the Sound of the Wind.

THE TRECENA OF CROCODILE/IMIX: DAWN OF A NEW AWAKENING

It only takes 13 days to see how Faith is always raised to Knowing the Truth of Answered Prayers. You only have to track your thoughts. Record the matters on your mind in a journal to see how our perspective is changed by a Divine Order of Thoughts.
The first trecena of the Tzolk’in is the Legend of the Truth we will realize in the end.

Galactic Tone 2: Mysterious as the question ‘to be or not to be?” Two is the recognition of the separation of self from all else and the desire to be rejoined. Walking a balance while making choices of all kinds, light/dark, male/female, good/bad, Yin/Yang, is the energy of this number. Experiencing the differences between one and another is the use and purpose of this number.
Wind/IK: Breath of Spirit, breath of life. Winds embody the power of dissemination and planting of good seeds or ideas. Dreamers and planners with powerful imaginations, Wind persons make great orators and they spread the word of spiritual inspiration as it is carried by the wind. Wind is the power behind the movement of natural cycles such as weather, erosion, and cultural change. As the wind, these persons are extremely changeable and adaptable. They may appear inconsistent or fickle to others. Wind can be destructive to self and others by putting on airs. When Winds strut and boast, expanding on facts and accomplishments, they are building the dark clouds of trouble that may become hurricanes.
A GOOD DAY TO: Send communications of all kinds.
Cherokee, Whirlwind/AGALU’GA: Whirlwind’s symbol is a double spiral helix in rising smoke. Wind brings energy for an Inquiring mind, learning and wisdom. In Cherokee, the constellations are represented by 12 birds (dancers), the 13th bird is the Whirlwind, the lead dancer. This reflects the whirling of life. Wind is the breath of the Universe (matching the Mayan symbol) channel of communication and carries the Sacred Smoke to the Great Spirit (Source- Hunab Ku in Mayan); matches the pulse of the breath of the Cosmos.
