4 Deer / MANIK – The Truth Within: Day 4 of 13

THE TRECENA OF SEED/KAN: A DREAM OF OUR CREATION

MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

4 Deer / MANIK

Greetings Kin,

Tone 4 holds an Intention of Stability. Tone 4 is represented by the cube, the most stable of all forms. The boundaries and parameters define the dimension and area. On Tone 4 we stabilize an Intention by establishing the “rules of the game” and a boundary of thoughts.

The 13 Tones of Creation are Inherent thoughts written within. From the micro to the macro they are the same on every scale and cycle of Time. The Intentions of the Tones are Common thoughts of Creation ordered by the Hours of Light. The Maya count 12 hours of daylight from 5AM to 5PM. The 13th Tone/Hour is the Ascension into our Dreams.

The Elders say that to “know thyself” we have to “track the mind.” That’s the only way to Know our Divine Design as a channel for the Creator’s Unconditional Love. What is Common, shared in Harmony and Equity, reflects an element of our Divine Design.

We wake in Unity on Tone 1 with Divine Inspiration. With every Sunrise we see the possibility to create a new life. In the 2nd Hour, we engage the thoughts of Duality, comparing what we did yesterday to what we might do today. By the 3rd Hour we find a reason and a plan to move.

In the 4th Hour, the Maya surveyed the field of corn to measure a task at hand. On Tone 4 we’re inclined to figure out an approach, the priorities, and the “rules of the game.” For the Creation of Higher Consciousness we define the boundaries and parameters of our thoughts. By setting an Intention we give our mind something to remember.

The Intention of Stability is magnified by the Day Sign Deer/MANIK, the nahaul with 4 legs with 1 foot planted in each of the 4 directions. Deer/MANIK is the Day Sign of the Mayan priest, one that holds the Spiritual Tools and employs them on behalf of the Whole. The Deer’s most-used Spiritual Tool is Vigilant Consciousness. MANIK stands on the Integrity of its own Truth in silence, without demanding agreement. The Deer leads by attraction, holding a Gift of Harmonic Resonance. Connected to the Creator’s Love, others naturally follow. When the Mayan priest carries out the rituals and sacred ceremonies for the community, others see and remember to offer their own prayers.

The glyph illustrates a Hand, another name for MANIK. The forefinger and thumb are shown grasping a thread of ether that completes a circuit of Divine Power Above. Humanity was created to serve as the Hand of God. To grasp the Power Above, the  Deer guides us to a dedicated daily practice, a path of Vigilant Consciousness that leads to an altar.

4 Deer / MANIK – The Experience of Creation: Day 4 of 13

THE TRECENA OF SEED/KAN

MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

4 Deer / MANIK

Greetings Kin,

Tone 4 holds an Intention of Stability. Tone 4 is represented by the cube, the most stable of all forms. The dimension of a cube is defined by its boundaries and parameters. The Inherent thoughts of stability relate to the 4th hour of creation. We move into action by intention, moved by a reason. Before we take another step, we take stock of the whole picture. We survey the field of creation and conceive all its possibilities.

On Tone 4 we establish a foundation of form that will define Our “laws of the creation.”

Deer/MANIK, the Day Sign of the Mayan priest offers a way of reaching for the Divine Power To Be. The Deer is a symbol of stability with one leg planted in each of the 4 directions. The Deer is also known as Hand. Deer’s mission is to serve as the Hand of God on Earth, upholding the Pillars of Faith for the Whole.

The glyph illustrates a Hand grasping a thread of Ether to complete a circuit of Divine Power Above. A dedicated path to the altar is the priest’s demonstration. The Mayan priest observes the rituals and sacred ceremonies on behalf of the whole.

MANIK resides in the West, the Direction of the darkness of the Unknown. MANIK holds the Element of Water, the substance that holds the Ether of Spirit. MANIK uses Holy Water for blessings, initiations, baptisms, and purification.

MANIK is the giver of Spiritual Tools. MANIK offers us the Truth that the Unknown is the place of all possibilities. Human can apply a negative connotation to “darkness.” The darkness of the West is only our Unknown Future. The Ego likes to be in control. Upholding the pillars of Faith, the Deer pushes away negativity.

Our Intention is to Love Everything, believing in the Hand of Divine Agency. The Unknown, like every experience, has a very Divine Reason To Be. Deer/MANIK can help us see it as the Spiritual Tool and Gift the Unknown is intended to be.

MANIK is known for the gift of Harmonic Resonance, a vibration created by the Intentional Movements of Divine Love. We are atoned through an Offering of Faith. When we kneel in Consciousness and Humility to the Greatness of God, the Sacred Exchange is Knowing our Faith is Seen Above. Our Provision is Love without conditions. God knows Your miracle and my miracle, and all the miracles of the Whole. We Know it too, when our Conscious is One at an altar.

Memorial Service for Human Love: May 18, 2019

Greetings Kin,

Lehua flower

The Seed/KAN trecena a Spiritual Climb to a Higher Consciousness of our Divine Identity. At the New Moon, the pain of Human Love was our Offering, with the prayer that it be transformed by Divine Love. I saw our Human love burned in the Fire that changes things, and stabilized the contents that would be held for a Divine Time and Place.

I’ve been dreaming of the Full Moon, May 18, 2019, and how it might look to see Human love change drawn into the Bigger Love of the Whole in the waters of Puget Sound. I imagined it would be right and good to bring some flowers as a memorial as well as a Gift to Mother Earth.

I was choosing colors and thought of our Sister Elena on the Big Island in Hawaii and has witnessed the Fire of Mother Earth, in the place where the Goddess of Fire is known. The Big Island’s color is red, and the flower is the Lehua flower. I asked Elena if she there were any of these flowers nearby and if she was near moving water. These flowers are around her and she is present at the ocean shore every day. Elena has agreed to prepare for the Offering on the Full Moon, May 18, 2019. (As it turns out, it’s known as the “Flower Moon.”)

MEMORIAL SERVICE INVITATION:
I would like to extend the invitation to anyone who would like to share in Sacred Ceremony as a Memorial for Human Love. We could Honor all the ways our Human love has served us so well, even when its broken. We could See and Acknowledge all the wounds it’s born. The Human love we’re willing to let go for something more Divine will always be Sacred. As a manifestation of the Creator, it will always hold its Divine Meaning and Purpose.

4 Deer / MANIK – Journey of Realization: Day 4 of 13

MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

4 Deer / MANIK

Greetings Kin,

Tone 4 holds an Intention of Stability. The energy of 4 relates to the cube, the most stable of forms. The cube defines dimension by its boundaries and parameters. Tone 4 intends to establish an orientation and the directions of thought that will serve as a foundation for our journey of creation.

Deer/MANIK holds the Meaning and Purpose of the Mayan priest who carries on a Mission of Love on behalf of the Whole. MANIK dedicates itself to a Service of Remembering. Deer/MANIK holds all the Spiritual Tools and carries out a living demonstration of using them. The Mayan priest accepts the responsibility to be watchful of the Time and to carry out the Sacred Ceremonies as they are marked on the calendar.

The Deer/MANIK holds the Gift of Harmonic Resonance. A Divine Movement naturally draws others to follow. MANIK offers a Living Symbol and Demonstration of Love that both Spirit and Human eyes will see. Human is naturally drawn by Love when their Spirit sees the Divine Symbols. Human is more likely to follow what others do, than what they say.

Deer/MANIK holds the Divine Truth that we don’t have to push Love for it to be born into the world. Everyone is already watching and waiting for the Signs of a Possibility. Divine Love holds its own Power of Attraction. Human knows Divine Love when they see it for themselves. Deer/MANIK offers a demonstration of they Way that Symbolizes Divine Love.

4 Deer / MANIK

Greetings Kin,

Tone 4 brings the Intention of Stability. The cube is the most stable of forms, offering the dimensions of height, length, depth and breadth. Tone 4 sets the rules and parameters to establish a sense of Direction and Orientation.

Deer/MANIK will guide the way for the new Seed of our Self to stand on solid ground and to fulfill its Divine Reason for Being. MANIK is said to “uphold the pillars of the 4 directions.” The Deer can teach us how to Stand in the Truth to uphold the world we Create from the Realm of Spirit.

Deer/MANIK is the giver of Spiritual Tools, said to have kept every tool it’s every used. Deer resides in the West, the direction of our Unknown Experience, and the Element of Water that holds the Ether of Spirit. Deer/MANIK speaks to us through the Language of the Heart. Deer can draw the fears of our limitations to the surface so we can be given the Spiritual Tool that overcomes them. MANIK can wash away our illusions of powerlessness through the Consciousness of our Connection to a Divine Source of Power.

10-DAY PORTAL, DAY 2: Ether of Spirit
Portal Days hold the power to magnify our supernatural experiences through a thinning of the veil to the realm of Spirit. We were blessed with a magnification of our Consciousness for the purpose of our Highest Creation, a reality of Happiness, Harmony, and Love. On 4 Deer/MANIK, a Portal magnifies the Light of the Spiritual Tools we were given to fulfill our Sacred Reason for Being. MANIK shares the Power to Stand in our own Truth of Spirit.

4 Deer/MANIK

Greetings Kin,

Tone 4 brings the Intention of Stability. The cube is the most stable of forms, offering the dimensions of height, length, depth and breadth. Tone 4 sets the rules and parameters to establish a sense of Direction and Orientation. Deer/MANIK holds this same energy of stability, said to uphold the pillars of the 4 directions.

The purpose of the Seed/KAN trecena is to present an experience that will transform us through the Truth that we hold the Divine Power of Creation. The 8th uinal holds the Intention of Divine Justice. the Deer/MANIK glyph DEMONSTRATES the Human Hand (another name for MANIK) that grasps the current that completes a circuit of Divine Power. The circle on the hand represents an ever-watchful eye.

Deer/MANIK is the Day Sign of the Mayan Priest, an Agent of Divine Authority. MANIK guides the Intention of Stability as the Day Sign who Stands in the Integrity of Truth. We can stabilize as the “salt of the Earth,” an expression of one who holds the basic characteristics of decency.

Our Power was given for us to act on behalf of a Divine Creator. As an Agent, the choices we make must align with the Divine Will of Spiritual Authority. Our Intentions must reflect the same Justice of Harmony and Equity. Our greatest assignment is to “Love One Another as I have Loved You.”

Standing in the Truth of Divine Justice we hold the Power of All Creation. What we would create would always be a blessing to the whole. Holding this position, our Intentions are one and the same with the Creator who holds ALL Power. Deer/MANIK guides the Way of standing in our Truth that we are One with the Creation.

10-DAY PORTAL: This is day 2 of our 10-day journey through a Spiritual Portal that thins the veil to other dimensions. The Portal magnifies our Senses to raise our Consciousness of our Ethereal Nature. Our Belief is magnified. Our Spiritual Gifts are awakened for Discernment of Direction, so we can Know what is beyond our Human understanding.

4 Deer/MANIK – Journey of Dynamic Consciousness

MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

4 Deer/MANIK

4 Deer/MANIK

Greetings Kin,

As we return to the beginning of a new Tzolk’in cycle, Deer/MANIK falls in step with the energy that will stabilize our journey. Deer/MANIK is the Day Sign of the Mayan Priest, God’s Hands in the world. Deer/MANIK is symbolized as a grasping hand with fingers completing a circuit with a thread of ether/plasma that connects us to God.

GREEN DAY: Today is the second of 10 consecutive “Galactic Activation Portals” that magnify our conscious awareness, so that we may “feel” things more clearly.

THE TRECENA OF SEED/KAN

4 Deer/MANIK (Cherokee, Deer/Ahwu’sdi)

Galactic Tone 4: Stability; the cube is most stable of all forms and establishes volume by definition of height, length, depth and breadth; 4 directions establish orientation. The energy of 4 sets the parameters, which establish the freedoms and barriers needed to create a game, work, or relationship.

Deer/MANIK (Hand): Deer are spirit tools. Silence itself is a spiritual experience for Deer. For Deer life is a pilgrimage. Deer are dominant persons who defend the people and will make sacrifices for others. The spirit of Deer upholds the pillars of the four directions. With the power inherent in the number four, Deer pushes away bad influences or negative energies. Skill and quality of work are very important to Deer. They are presented with tools for every task in life and it is with these that they are able to rise above limitations. Deer has a habit of keeping every tool it has ever used. This leads to clutter and indecision, loss and procrastination. When confronted with promises not kept, Deer becomes stubborn, manipulative and evasive.

Cherokee, Deer/Ahwu’sdi: Symbolized by Constellation Galagina, the Stag, known as Taurus, the Bull. It does not include the Pleiades and Hyades clusters which in Cherokee are viewed as separate. To feed, gatherers of food and supplies, they enjoy rituals, ceremonials, feasts, the souls of hospitality, sociability. Freedom versus security issues often inspire leadership and unique solutions.  Combined with artistic and inspiring energies in harmony with lunar cycles, they nourish the clans. Totem-Deer:  A priest or shaman, a powerful person in general, to overwhelm an individual with one’s personal power, divination; inclined to become a teacher, healer, guru, civic leader, or politician.  Ability to create harmonic resonance.

Seed/KAN Trecena: Galactic Portal DaysGREEN DAY: Today is the second of 10 consecutive “Galactic Activation Portals” that will magnify our experiences. This is a thinning of the veil, that remains open for 10 consecutive days. The trecena of Seed/KAN has the power to bring forward the conscious awareness of the inherent power of Spirit through the 5th Element of Ether.

DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

Journey of Dynamic Consciousness: Day 4

We are completing the 260-day spiritual journey of the Tzolk’in as observed by the Quiche/Maya region of Guatemala. The preparations are already underway for a celebration and the sacred initiation of the Mayan Daykeepers – those who carry on a spiritual path that was led by our ancestors. As we are returning to the center of a most sacred place, we can see the end of our journey just ahead.

The last steps of any journey require more effort than the beginning. MANIK is the Day Sign of Spiritual Tools. If we look within to our feelings of limitation, Deer can bring a solution. Deer stands silently in its own power. Our stability will come from standing in our Truth and holding on to the sacred vision we carry.

This is the end of a sacred journey that calls us to approach it with reverence and humility, remembering it was the wisdom passed down by our ancestors that carried us to a new awakening.  Together, each of the 260 Kin of the Tzolk’in lead us into an expanding consciousness.

Remember that we are still moving through the chaos of new creation. This is a time to cast off any doubts based on a reflection of a work that is yet unfinished. We hold our power as faith in ourselves to have the perseverance to keep going with the single-minded faith that each step is ordered in God’s plan.

To all my relations, may we find our stability in vigilant stillness and press on to experience the fullness of God’s blessing. May we honor our feelings and open our hearts so we may know the Divine Purpose for which we were made.

in lak’ech, i am another you
