8 Dog/OC – As Above, So Below

8 Dog/OC (Cherokee, Wolf/WOLF/KANA’TI)

8 Dog/OC

8 Dog/OC

Galactic Tone 8: Justice. Harmony and balance are the intent of Eight. Eights carefully weigh all evidence to reach a balance of justice. Eight is the power of organization demonstrated in the statement, “As above, so below”. From simplicity to infinity, the energy of Eight organizes all levels of creation. Some Eights are “Neat Freaks”.

Dog/OC: Courageous, loyal and warm-hearted, very alert and valiant, people born of Dog are respected for their sense of justice and their protection. People born of the sun sign Dog are very sensual and know how to enjoy life. Playfulness and a good understanding of the basic human nature lead to prosperity for Dog. Dogs are good team players who love to travel and have a keen sense of their position in society. Dogs are ambitious and will take opportunities when they offer themselves, including infidelities. Dog persons share the nature of coyotes, spies, wolves and lawyers

Cherokee, 8  WOLF/KANA’TI: Wolf’s symbol is Sirius (Dog star) and Antares, one or the other always visable but never at the same time.  Wolf is our brother, shares our very roots.  All dogs are domesticated wolves, companionship and guidance.  Connecting link between the worlds. One who inspires loyalty, diplomacy and sense of humor with unlimited potential.  A teacher, healer, pathfinder and transformer.  Sharp as obsidian, gentle as a lamb. Totem -Dog.  Loyalty and faithfulness that survives beyond death.  This was the first day of creation energy in this 4th world, sets the energy for love, loyalty and faithfulness on the 5200 year cycle.  Heart chakra energy is involved so that we can move to the state of “unconditional love” with compassion.  All sexual desire issues that are not in harmony will surface to be cleared.

As Above, So Below

Both Galactic Tone 8 and Dog/OC speak to us about justice and harmony. The teaching, “As above, so below” illustrates that what is held as intention by the higher self, is reflected in the physical plane. This principle offers justice and harmony for all.

The power is not in the intention itself, but in the attention we are willing to invest into it. We have to first ‘see’ the completion of our intention in Spirit (above) for it to be created on the physical plane (below). As we are able to see and fully-experience our dream we are empowered to make it real.

Therefore I say to you, all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them, and they will be granted you. Mark 11:24

Believing isn’t easy. Our greatest challenge is to simply believe in our dreams and in our own unlimited power. By nature, we need to see some evidence to form the belief. Really seeing our dream and believing it can become real, requires work and an investment of our personal time.

How much time do we actually spend, seeing our dreams? The outer would have us believe that daydreaming is a waste of time, yet it is the very key to creation. This is where our Spirit Tools come in handy. We are nurtured by ANY daily practice that provides a time to reflect and be centered in our gratitude.

Here we are able to realize the Truth – that we are unconditionally loved and guided, and that our dreams are the result of a larger divine purpose – worthy to come true. Seeing our own divine power as co-creators is a seed of faith we are capable to grow.

I began a new daily practice at the time of my birthday as I was choosing my seeds of intention for the coming year. I was willing to invest everything I could to turn some things around in my life. My most important new daily practice was begun by simply NOT turning on the TV in the morning. Starting my day in silence became the most critical element in my daily practice.

I start each day lighting candles and burning sage and sweetgrass as a symbolic way to clear the air and to call sacred the time I would spend with myself in Spirit. I turn to the Mayan calendar for the inspiration of the day, though one could turn to any resource or faith for inspiration.

This was a fairly simple practice to put into place, yet it has lead to some profound personal changes. I found a new freedom from commercial programming. I realized how I was constantly irritated by programming that was telling me “what everyone thinks” and “what’s on trend” – i.e., what I need to buy to be equal to everyone else.

Suddenly, I was getting so much more out of the time I set aside for myself. I didn’t WANT to turn on the TV because I was too busy in the process of learning and growing. The whole attraction of watching TV simply fell away. I couldn’t remember why it was so difficult to turn off.

To all my relations, I am grateful for the Gifts of Spirit so freely available whenever we choose to turn to them. Show me a way to grow my seed of faith into something more beautiful so I may learn and know how powerful we really are.

7 Offering/MULUC – Clearing and Purification

7 Offering/MULUC (Cherokee, The River/YUN’WI GUNNAHI’TA)

7 Offering/MULUC

7 Offering/MULUC

Galactic tone 7: Reflective. Seven stands as a mirror to divide light and dark and to reflect all that is and is not. Seven is associated with the source of creation and the flow of divine will. With a keen sense of ethics, seven establishes purpose to current and future goals.

Offering/MULUC: Also known as the sign of water. Ceremonially, Maya use water as an offering in baptisms and purifications. These ceremonies are done to bring about a collective strength, adaptability and harmony. In sincere appreciation, Offering people gladly give more than they ask for themselves. Offering persons are dynamic communicators with great intelligence making them excellent employers. Like a shaken vessel of water, Offering people regain equilibrium quickly. Also like a body of water, there may be deep undercurrents of emotion and hidden dangers. Others perceive these as hidden agendas in offering people and so extend them little trust and may even slap blame on them.

Cherokee, The River/YUN’WI GUNNAHI’TA  BO EO  IW:  The River is symbolized by The Milky Way, the Gihli’Utsun’stanun’yi “Where the Dog Ran” to gather the souls for Heaven.  The River is the minion for Grandfather Moon.  Long Man is the personification of the River stretching from the mountains to the lowlands, speaking to those who can understand.  People of this sign find “sermons in the stones” and good in everything.  These souls march to a different drummer, driven by inner volcanic forces.  The River is the “Fountain of Life” and represents the fluid of the cosmos to fluids in the body, with the energy to clear all karmic debts, personally and on a mass level with fluidity and grace.  The Moon controls our fluid cycle, to clear and understand emotional issues.  When you take this step to clear the emotional body, then you are ready for transformational energies at the next level.  As humans, our actions are ruled by our emotions, the key is to understand the connection and honor the emotions.

Clearing and Purification

7 Offering/MULUC has the power to touch our deepest emotions and bring them into our consciousness. Seven is the Tone of Reflection and Spirit. With a deeper clarity of vision we are capable to see that our experiences are not the true source of our suffering. Instead, Muluc reveals that our sorrow is born from those place where we may be stuck – believing that we are unworthy, or somehow, not enough.

Muluc offers a way through Sacred Ceremony to dissolve our feelings of separation and to bring new healing through purification. We are empowered to create our own ceremony. We have the power to create something sacred… for what we call sacred is SO, only by our own definition. That which we approach as sacred focuses all our attention into the present moment where we can create an enduring memory of our connection to Spirit.

Muluc reminds us of Baptism as the a sacred ceremony of ritual bathing. We can call forth water as the descending light of Spirit as our source for purification. (Ta t’se clo ee ee eh) Under the trecena of Night/AKBAL we are guided by the unseen forces from the great beyond. We are free to make our own choices on how we may bring all which needs to be healed into sacred ceremony for purification.

When we are returned to wholeness, we are empowered to see the stories that define us with a new understanding. We can move beyond our sorrow, to see how every experience has provided a source for empowerment as blessings in disguise.

To all my relations, thank you for the unseen helpers who guide me on a journey to my wholeness. Give me the courage to feel what needs to be healed so that I can see how every experience holds a deeper meaning and purpose.

13 Offering/Muluc – Spirit will answer.

13 Offering/Muluc (Cherokee, The River, Yun’wi Gunnahi’ta)

13 Offering/MULUC

13 Offering/MULUC

Galactic Tone 13: Ascension: Thirteen assists us to go to the next higher step, propels us to try something new or to try again. Thirteen energy takes us over the next mountain just to see what is there. Thirteen carries the last success to the newest effort. Thirteen is a number associated with the Ascended Masters, creation, expansion, and manifestation.

Offering/MULUC: The sign of water. Ceremonially, Maya use water as an offering in baptisms and purifications, done to bring about a collective strength, adaptability and harmony. Fluid of the cosmos to fluids in the body, Muluc offers the energy to clear all karmic debts, personally, and on a mass level with fluid and grace. Muluc is also associated with the Moon and the emotional body. Water days are a good time to analyze your wishes and prayers and connect them to any rituals or practices you follow.

Cherokee, The River/ Yun’wi Gunnahi’ta: The “Fountain of Life”, giver of all fluids, water, rain, tears; the Milky Way is also referred to as The River.

Spirit will answer.

The River carries water along the way to its final destination. At the delta, water passes into the ocean to be transformed into something new.

With the Tone 13 of Ascension, we have arrived at a new horizon. We are prepared to move our intentions forward with the vision from a higher vantage point. Offering/Muluc touches our hearts and emotions that we may be fully engaged in the process.

On 5 (Empowerment) Star/LAMAT (Multiplication to Abundance) Spirit drew forth the tradition of a 21-Day Ceremony of Gratitude as a proven and worthy Spirit Tool. On the following morning, this journal was begun in earnest when I realized the message was meant for me. Proceeding as Day 2, I offered the commitment of my presence through the 21 days with the intention of multiplying gratitude. With no idea what I may be able to share for 21 days, I continued forward with the assurance that all that was necessary was for me to just be present.

The 21 days were completed yesterday, and as we arrive at 13 (Ascension), Muluc (Offering) my attention is focused on the way ahead and how I may continue on with my journey. On 8 Batz, the Mayan New Year, I made a personal commitment to complete the 260 Tzolkin round, journaling inspiration from Spirit and to recreate the art of the glyphs each day. With new vision I can see that the power for the transformation that followed was in the commitment and in my connection to all, in lak’ech.

To all my relations, I present myself as an Offering. I release myself into the divine flow of The River as an open vessel to be guided as the energies of the sacred Tolkin may find me worthy… for the greater good of the collective, the One and the All.

21 Days of Gratitude, Day 21 – A Gift of Understanding

12 Star/LAMAT (Cherokee, Rabbit/NOQUI’SEGWA)

12 Star/LAMAT

12 Star/LAMAT

Galactic Tone 12: Understanding. Twelve is a gift of great capacity of retrospection. It is the ability that allows Twelve to connect disassociated parts into a (new) functioning whole. The energy of Twelve is that which presents a new piece of understood information or accumulated experience to be applied.

Star/Rabbit/LAMAT: Star energy is multiplication of all things to abundance. Star has been associated with the fertility of rabbits for its ability to multiply. Each sun in the sky, Stars shine equally in all directions. This natural tendency of harmony and balance can become compulsion, motivating Star to be too agreeable and too generous.

Cherokee, Rabbit/NOQUI’SEGWA: Symbol-Venus, The Morning Star cycle of 260 days and Evening Star cycle of another 260 days, inspired the 13 numbers, 20 Day sign Sacred Calendar. Rabbit is the Trickster of Cherokee culture, matching the Coyote in other nations. The personification of Light and New Life, Sunrise, the sign of the Moon-Father of earth children, the Rabbit is fertility, be fruitful and multiply. Represents softness, gentleness and vulnerability.

See my Tzolkin Page for resources.

A Gift of Understanding

The 21 Days of Gratitude are now completed through the Tone of Understanding. One step after another became a journey, bringing us to a new horizon where we can look back to see how far we’ve really come. The world that existed for me 21 days ago shows little resemblance to the new Earth/Caban world that evolved through this trecena. Though, the destination may still not be in perfect focus, a WAY of getting there has become clear.

Star/LAMAT multiplies to abundance whatever we focus upon. The ’21 Days’ was inspired by our last visit to Star/LAMAT with the intention of multiplying gratitude. Residing in a place of deeper joy, we exist in the center of creation where all things are possible.

Tone 12 of Understanding is the last step before Tone 13 of Ascension. Now with ‘great capacity for retrospection’ we can see our process as a whole. We can see we are now capable of more than we imagined before. I know with greater conviction the empowerment that results, when I am willing to invest of myself to make it so.

To all my relations, thank you for the new light of understanding and for the Spirit Tool of gratitude that we may use so that our joy may be multiplied to abundance.

21 Days of Gratitude, Day 20 – Deepest Gratitude

11 Deer/MANIK (Cherokee, Deer/Ahwu’sdi)

11 Deer/Hand/MANIK

11 Deer/Hand/MANIK

Galactic Tone 11: Resolution; 11 assists every new thing to find it’s place in the universe in the process of ‘fitting in.’ some modifications must occur. Eleven is the energy of dynamic actions facilitating change, simplification and improvement.

Deer/Hand/MANIK: Deer are spirit tools. Silence itself is a spiritual experience for Deer. For Deer life is a pilgrimage. Deer are dominant persons who defend the people and will make sacrifices for others. The spirit of Deer upholds the pillars of the four directions. With the power inherent in the number 4, Deer pushes away bad influences or negative energies. Skill and quality of work are very important to Deer. They are presented with tools for every task in life and it is with these that they are able to rise above liitations. Deer has a habit of keeping every tool it has ever used. This leads to clutter and indecision, loss and procrastination.

Cherokee, Deer/Ahwu’sdi: Totem-deer is a priest or shaman; ability to create harmonic resonance; they enjoy rituals, ceremonial feasts and are the souls of hospitality and sociability; combined with artistic and inspiring energies in harmony with lunar cycles, they nourish the clans.

See my Tzolkin Page for resources.

Deepest Gratitude

11 Deer/MANIK calls on us to reflect on our Spirit Tools. The Mayan Calendar is a very powerful Spirit Tool revealing the ‘sacred cycle of creation.’ The Tzolkin illustrates an evolutionary process that is advanced in cycles of 13 days. 20 cycles of 13 complete the 260-day Tzolkin round. The power of this tool is palpable only in the process of using it, as over time, its synchronicity reveals the evidence of our connection to the One and All.

20 Days ago, on 4 Deer/MANIK (October 14), the idea of ‘21 Days of Gratitude’ as Sacred ceremony was brought forward as a worthy Spirit Tool. The ceremony amounts to the process of simply holding/returning attention to gratitude over the course of 21 days… as a Sacred charge.

Without realizing it, you were also chosen as a Spirit Tool. Because of you, I found myself committed to a daily journal. And, because of you, I have committed more time to a daily spiritual practice than ever before in my life. 20 days later, I can’t begin to explain all the ways my world has been changed, through our connection.

As we arrive back at Deer/MANIK, the Galactic Tone 11 of Resolution makes clear the power of the Spirit Tools that were chosen, and encourages us to consider what Spirit Tools we may now carry forward.

To all my relations, YOU. Thank YOU in lak’ech from the place of my DEEPEST GRATITUDE. 11 Deer/MANIK calls me to Honor ‘your presence’ as I find our shared connection as being among the most powerful Spirit Tools of all.

21 Days of Gratitude, Day 19 – New Vision

10 Transformer/CIMI (Cherokee, Twins Takato’ka)

10 Transformer/CIMI

10 Transformer/CIMI

Galactic Tone 10: Manifestation; what were once intentions or ideas, hopes or fears become physically present with the energy of 10. What is focused upon with attention and intention becomes real. Ten is a powerful energy that carries a great responsibility.

Transformer/CIMI: Cycle of life, death, and rebirth; abundance in all life choices; dissolution of polarities to create great wealth

Cherokee, Twins Takato’ka: Female Sun and Male Moon whose union keeps the world going round in perpetuity is the first order. Cherokee myth has the Morning Star heralding the Sun, Venus, also being the Evening Star as representing the Twins. The energy brings major changes all throughout life, riding the tsunamis of earthquake and upheaval, making their own waves wherever they go. They undergo powerful transformations, alternating like a flashing neon sign. The challeng is to master Balance while experiencing Chaos leading to re-birth and abundance through infinity.

See my Tzolkin Page for resources.

New Vision

We reach Galactic Tone 10, the Tone of Manifestation, and Transformer/Cimi reveals to us how we’ve been changed into something new. We are looking at the world through new eyes and in a new place of being. We can’t go back to seeing things the same way we did before. Cimi helps us to find the new balance.

On Galactic Tone 10, the peak energies of the 13-day trecena begin to subside. We can go inward to review what we’ve experienced. We are guided to consider the new lessons, where they may lead us, and how they may alter the course of our intentions.

We may be exhilarated at the new perspective that has been revealed. At the same time, we may be discouraged by the light that’s been shed on our ‘before’… as, new knowledge may have made clear the places within us that could use some fixing.

This is the moment when we can both look back at who we were and forward to see what we may become, but have yet to see exactly how the changes will play out. The transformation is completed as we apply our new knowledge. Like children, we are ‘just learning to walk’ – in a new way.

To all my relations, I am grateful for new eyes, new vision, and the new abundance it brings. Give me the courage to be the new creation that, in this moment, is known by only me.

21 Days of Gratitude, Day 18 – Spirit that Transforms

9 Serpent/CHICCHAN (Cherokee, Serpent Do’tsi)

Chicchan, Feathered Serpent, Kukulkan or QuetzalcoatlGalactic Tone 9: Patience; getting a better perspective of the bigger picture. With energy of 9, plans or patterns begin to come to completion. 9 requires patience and perseverance found in the bigger picture.

Serpent/CHICCHAN: Movement and the creation of time; sensual and dramatic, this sun sign embodies intense instinctual wisdom and creates a connection from Earth bound to heavenly aspirations. By sincere service to others, Serpent opens and expands its heart. Serpents are very adaptable, even fluid, until trapped in a corner, and then they explode. Chicchan symbolizes the transformation of time, transcendence, and individual evolution, and represents those predestined for spiritual vocations.

Cherokee Serpent/DO’TSI: Symbol is Constellation Serpens. (The brightest star in Serpens is Unukalhai or Cor Serpentis “Serpent’s Heart”.) Serpent people are Sky people who come to earth periodically as Educators. As above-So below, on Earth the Serpent is the roots of the tree of knowledge. Serpent power is vital energy, the moving force, the instinct and desire for creativity, the trigger that sets off the action. It lights the fuse that magnifies and explodes the life force itself.

See my Tzolkin Page for resources.

Spirit that Transforms

Serpent/Chicchan is described as one of the most powerful daysigns in the Tzolk’in and is “associated with the mystical Feathered Serpent, Kukulkan or Quetzalcoatl as the Aztecs called this deity.” (Mayan Calendar Portal) Chicchan presents us with an opportunity to be transformed through Spirit.

The transformative energy of Chicchan is likened to the quickening of “Kundalini Energy,”  also referred to as “The Serpentine Fire.” The symbol of intertwined snakes is representative of spiraling energy making its way up the spine and  resembles the double-helix DNA molecule of all living organisms.

Galactic Tone 9 encourages us to see something through. We may be impatient due to a limited perspective.  “The way things should be” can prevent us from seeing transformation already in motion.

If we are willing to see things in a new light, we may experience a profound awakening. If we are ground in to closed thinking, we may suffer the lost opportunity. Under the 13-day trecena, Earth/Caban we are creating a new world. That requires new thinking. We can be opened through our willingness to throw aside preconceived notions.

Serpent/CHICCHAN embodies deep, instinctual wisdom and intelligence, and can teach us how to be fluid and flexible. The new inspiration that will result is the catalyst for a longed-for Spiritual transformation.

To all my relations, I stand steadfast in faith that my prayers are heard and responded to.

The evidence may not be seen (yet), but felt within.

HOLIDAY WISHES…
Happy Dia De Los Muertos (Day of the Dead)

The Day of the Dead is a holiday celebrated in central and southern Mexico on the days of November 1 and 2. Though it coincides with the Catholic holiday called All Soul’s and All Saint’s Day, the indigenous people have combined this with their own ancient tradition of honoring their deceased loved ones.

Altars are decorated with candles, flowers, photos and other items that represent the interests and life of the deceased, along with offerings of food, drink, and bread. The belief is that the gates of heaven open on midnight of October 31st and the spirits of the children are allowed to return for 24 hours to reunite with their families. On the second day, November 2nd, the spirits of the adults arrive to enjoy the festivities prepared for them.

Day of the Dead Altar

Day of the Dead Altar

Observing the holiday with friends in Puerto Penasco, MX, students built altars as a school open house project. Blazing candles throughout the school would never have flown in the USA. 🙂  The students loved sharing stories about the meanings behind their displays. I was curious to see bottles of tequilla and some kind of silver hooks on one altar, which turned out to be cock-fighting spurs of an uncle, who I was told also liked tequilla.

It was their tradition to have a party at the cemetary on November 2nd, where  folding chairs, coolers, picnic food and boombox music was the backdrop for sharing old stories and memories of the deceased.

The tradition has spread to parts of the US. I was first introduced to the tradition by celebrations held in Tucson, AZ. I created my own Day of the Dead altar and found it to be an awesome experience. It was as if I were hosting an open house for my deceased loved ones, as their presence was felt coming and going over the course of the holiday.

The door of Spirit is open to acknowledge and send love to your deceased loved ones.

21 Days of Gratitude, Day 17 – A Sacred Gift

8 Seed/KAN (Cherokee, Dragon Ukte’na)

8 Seed/KAN
(c) Copyright 2015, Debra Malmos

Galactic Tone 8: Harmony and balance; weighing evidence to reach a balance of justice. The power of organization demonstrated in the statement, “as above, so below”; from simplicity to infinity

Seed/KAN: Family, sexual activity and the magic of germination are the characteristics of this sun sign. Seed strives to free themselves and others from the debt or oppressive patterns of the past. Abundance is gathered by Seeds as if with a cast net.

Cherokee, Dragon Ukte’na: The Sky constellation Draco represents this sign. Dragon represents Matriarchy, the Great Mother Figure. Dragon is the Corn Spirit, the dual personality of both Corn Mother and Corn Maiden. This Sign is fertility and procreation, generation to generation.

A Sacred Gift

From the mystery of Akbal we emerge to a new day, Seed/KAN, holding new inspiration with which to fire our seeds of intention. We are made fertile soil through love and forgiveness of ourselves and others.

8 Seed/KAN holds within it the Earth magic of germination – the ability to emerge and grow into something brand new. The seeds we have chosen require some help in our garden. We can nurture our seed/KAN with the acknowlegement of its inherent wonder and magic. We can love the ‘generations to generations’ of seeds that have now brought THESE seeds forward. Every living thing flourishes within the light of love.

“As above, so below.” The measure of the joy we receive is directly proportional to the love we give.

Love that you have been given a magical seed that has within it the power to become something beautiful. Give it the ‘love of your attention’ as the care and nourishment needed for it to grow.

To all my relations, I have been given a Sacred Gift that holds the energy of abundance. Help me to honor it in a good way so that I may receive the full expression of the beauty in its creation.

ASTROLOGY NOTES: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m5UqcRWJ_Nw
This is significant time of giving birth to a new identity. The daykeeper Seed/KAN emerges as Venus conjuncts Mars on October 30. (The energies of the Mayan Daykeepers subside as the Sun sets, and the new Daykeeper begins to emerge.) Venus conjunct Mars is the meeting of the God and Goddess under Jupiter as the Overlord. It is the meeting of the divine feminine and masculine, the yin and the yang, through which there is promised a new birth… in perfect synchronicity with the potential of all creation held within this day, Seed/KAN.

21 Days of Gratitude, Day 16 – Darkness Brings the Light

7 Night/Akbal (Cherokee, Hearth / O’ya)

7 Night/AKBAL

7 Night/AKBAL

Galactic Tone 7: Reflective; 7 stands as the mirror to divide light and dark and reflect all that is and is not. 7 is associated with the source of creation and the flow of divine will. 7 establishes the purpose to current and future goals.

Night/AKBAL: Bringers of the Dawn, the dreamers who bring the new sun to clarity and illuminate the road of life. Thus the insecurities and doubts born of darkness of the sub-conscious mind are dispelled. These persons travel the Void – a place where nothing yet exists, but all potential dwells, the womb of creation. From this void, Night persons bring forth new solutions and artistic inspiration. If Night does not bravely journey into the void they may find themselves wandering the darkness of self doubt and insecurity. Cherokee, Hearth/O’ya: Night Totem OWL,Guardian of the Night Sun.  Energies for the opening of mystic secrets, see through the masks of deception, trickery.  High ability of discernment.  Portals open to other worlds and dimensions for your learning and spiritual growth.  Magical abilities are possible.

Darkness Brings the Light

7 Night/Akbal exists to reveal the mystery of Spirit “where nothing yet exists, but all potential dwells.” To receive Akbal’s blessing we must be willing to travel into the void to know our own darkness. Akbal gives us the courage to look within, where our greatest blessings may arise from seeing those parts of ourselves we prefer to avoid, deny, or keep hidden.

Under the 13-day trecena of Earth/Caban we are being lead to create a new world. Days 7, 8, 9 represent the peak energies of this trecena. What you are meant to see may be revealed as a ‘peak experience’.

The place for healing is here. Dive deep into the void and embrace what you may learn from the sticking points and stubborn places that resist the changes necessary to create your new world.  Surround in light whatever darkness you discover and love it for the new understanding it brings.

As we learn to love even our shadow, our darkness is transformed into light. From our courageous journey within we are  empowered from the source where all potential lies to remember that miracles are possible.

To all my relations, thank you for the ways unseen that you are ever-present, helping to guide me through the darkness and into the light.

21 Days of Gratitude, Day 15 – Breathe Love

6 Wind/IK (Cherokee, Whirlwind Agalu’ga)

Galactic Tone 6: Six is responsiveness and the art of negotiation. It is the movement of volume through space that creates time. This energy in action is like the art of dance or a great athlete in motion. Six facilitates dynamic developments in all aspects of life.

Wind/IK: Breath of Spirit, breath of life. Wind embodies the power of dissemination and planting of good seeds or ideas. Those born unto IK are dreamers and planners with powerful imaginations, spreading the word of inspiration as carried by the wind. Cherokee, Whirlwind Agalu’ga: The Cherokee symbol of the whirlwind is a double spiral helix in rising smoke and related to the direction of the North. In Cherokee, the constellations are represented by 12 birds (dancers) and the 13th bird is the Whirlwind, the lead dancer.

Breath Love

copyright 2015 debra malmos

6 Wind/IK

6 Wind/IK as Air, is among the primary elements required for human survival. Our earthly lives begin with our first breath.

From the in-breath we draw our life and inspiration from source. The out-breath is the dissemination of ‘who we are’ to the world around us. How we use our voice/breath in the world always reflects the condition of our heart, whether or not that is our conscious intent.

Galactic Tone 6 calls upon our desire to be in right relationship with the world. IK exists that we may be breathed by Spirit of the highest frequency, so that the out-breath may embody harmony and love.

Breath is a healing force. Acknowledge IK with humility and gratitude and direct Wind/IK through your breath into those places in the Body, Soul and Spirit that desire to be healed. Use your out-breath and your voice to extend healing and love to the world around you.

Be breathed by Love.

Breathe love.
