MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL
On Tone 6 we enter the Peak Energies of the trecena that help establish a rhythm and pattern of movement. The effort of new Spiritual Growth is now positioned for dynamic developments as our Intention takes on the momentum and our effort becomes second nature.
Seed/KAN represents fertility, reproduction, and a containment of Life Force. The Storm/CAUAC trecena is clearing away the dead branches to make way for the growth for a new season. “Seed people strive to free themselves and others from debt or oppressive patterns of the past.” Night/AKBAL helped us see that our past holds no Power over our future. We must keep looking forward from the Higher Ground of today. We are tending a garden where our Spirit can Grow unrestricted by any entanglements.
Seed/KAN is a symbol of the People. The Maya revered Corn that reflects the many colors of Human and the colors within our Human body. Seed reminds us that our own Spiritual Growth is the Inheritance shared from one generation to the next. Our Transformation to Divine Consciousness is a shared effort passed down through time.
The Monarch Butterfly illustrates Power passed down from one generation to the next. Monarch butterflies are the only insect that migrates each year to a warmer climate that is 2,500 miles away. Their migration is completed by 4 generations. The first generation begins the journey, and each following generation is born knowing the next destination from a new starting place. Even the next “first generation” that begins the next journey travels to the very same trees each year.
The dynamic developments of our Spiritual Growth extend beyond our lifetime. Our progress doesn’t rely solely on our own effort, but is carried on from the accomplishment of past generations.
The Cherokee Day Sign is the Dragon, which represents this Spark of Life that is held within the Seed. This Force of Nature is one with the energy and vibration that moves through the Earth as the ley lines, or “dragon lines,” and the force of of higher frequency in vortexes, known as “orgone energy” or “pyramid power.” The Dragon is a symbol of “seeing clearly.” As we look within to our own design, we can see that in both Body and Soul we were designed for Transformation. The Seed is our everyday-evidence of Miracles. Regardless of its surroundings, when it meets fertile soil, it’s capable to overcome the obstacles in the dark. When we consider the places a Seed is capable to grow, we might compare its Force of Energy to the Human Power to push beyond what appear to be insurmountable obstacles.
The Pattern of Movement that 6 Seed/KAN would encourage is the ongoing cultivation of our Garden. As we become conscious of habits and patterns that inhibit our growth, Spirit is capable to advance through a clearing of our karma as an upgrade to our design. Each generation is is One in the Perfection of the Whole.
Seed/KAN can eliminate the illusion that we are inherently incapable, to see that we are empowered to become stronger with each generation. We are inherently more Powerful that every generation that has come before through an accumulation of our Collective Wisdom. The Transformation of Human to our Highest State of Consciousness is not an effort born solely on our own shoulders. The role of each generation is to complete the Spiritual Journey of one lifetime that offers a new starting place for the next. Just as we hold new hope for the future of Humanity, so did the Ancestors hold this dream for us.
The Seed’s source of nourishment is found in a Spirit of Gratitude. We can think of ourselves resting in fertile soil with all the nourishment we need to breakthrough to a Spiritual Renewal. The soil on my parents farm is black sandy loam. My Dad carried some to every house we ever lived in before they retired, because it would grow anything. I remember the smell, feel, and coolness of it in my hands. God places us in fertile soil when we serve a Divine Intention. It is a hard road of life, though the Creator promises a reward beyond our Human Understanding.
With each Ascension to a Higher Consciousness we begin to see how Love is the Spark of Life that is worth living for, and is the Power to Carry out a Divine Intention of Justice.
AKBAL touched me with the Suffering of Humanity. I can only describe what I felt as total outrage. I thought, “How can I find Peace until there is a solution? All I can do is Pray.” Prayer is not a last ditch hopeless effort. The most Powerful thing we can do is hold Faith and Help Bear the Burden of Broken Hearts. In order to receive Divine Intervention we have to give permission by resting our fears in the Creator’s hands.
THE HAAB: The current Year Bearer, 5 Wind/IK, marks a year of Empowerment with IK being known as year’s of change and upheaval. We are being challenged for Higher Growth and there is something to look forward to. February 20, 2018 will begin a new year led by 6 Deer/MANIK. We can look forward to the Peak Energy (6) of Flow and the Spiritual Strength of the Deer, the Keeper of the Spiritual Tools and the Hand of God.
Tone 6 helps us see that a pattern of Spiritual Movement was established long ago. Through an effort of Faith, all we have to do is surrender our Self into the Divine Flow. We will be Divinely Inspired in the right direction as we acknowledge the worthiness of the place we are today.
To all my relations, we hold Jaguar’s magic when we hold deep gratitude and appreciation for Mother Earth. May we listen for her heartbeat and consider the richness of her bounty. May we be grateful to her as the sole source of nourishment for Humanity, and the only Direct Source available to millions who have been struck by tragedy. May we make our most Valiant effort of Faith to Become the Light for a New Generation. May we be witness to a Divine Intervention that Evidences the Truth that our Love can reach beyond time and space.

6 Seed/KAN (Cherokee, Dragon/UKTE’NA)
Galactic Tone 6: Six is responsiveness and the art of negotiation. It is the movement of volume through space that creates time. This energy in action is like the art of dance or a great athlete in motion. Six facilitates dynamic developments in all aspects of life.
Seed/KAN: Family, sexual activity and the magic of germination are the characteristics of this sun sign. Natural net workers, Seed people strive to free themselves and others from debt or oppressive patterns of the past. Abundance is gathered by Seeds as if with a cast net. Seed persons are public defenders who work toward uniting community by discovering hidden traps and secret influences of others. To generate true abundance, Seed must learn to appreciate all gifts and lessons received and conduct profound investigations into its self. In the absence of gratefulness and the courage to face oneself, Seed finds itself in less than less fertile environments.
Cherokee, Dragon/UKTE’NA: Dragon’s symbol is Draco winding between the Little Dipper and Big Dipper. Dragon is the Corn Spirit, symbol of dual personality of Corn Mother and Maiden. Fertility and pro-creation from generation to generation. The word dragon means ”eye, to look at, to see clearly”. Spirit brings energy of Lawgiver, Justice, vigilance and protective, loyal unto death. Ley lines in China are “dragon lines”, energy is sometimes called “orgone energy,” pyramid power or magnetic force. Pyramids and kivas are collector portals for this energy, known as vortexes. Dragon energy beats a path everywhere, stirring things up with a big stick in tune with the beat of the drum, heartbeat of the Earth.
