9 Wisdom / CIB – Ascension of Consciousness: Day 9 of 13

MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

9 Wisdom / CIB

Greetings Kin,

“Owl is the Mystic Ferryman who guides Earthlings on the return path to the stars holding the torch aloft.” ~Cherokee Sacred Calendar

Tone 9 is a day of Peak Energy that offers a Gift of Retrospection. The intention is to complete our Transformation through a deeper understanding. We can learn from the Intention of 9 that there is always more to discover by looking beneath the surface.

9 presents the warning that there could be suffering if we fail to see a deeper significance. This is not a reason to fear that “something bad could happen.”  This is suffering we already bear, that could be healed forever.

Wisdom/CIB is the Day Sign of the Ascended Ones and connects us to the Collective Wisdom of their journey. They shared the same experience of being Human and remember the “hard road of life.”

The CIB glyph illustrates the Mind in its Highest State of Consciousness. We’re offered the Wisdom that Forgiveness is the “Key to the Kingdom” of Spirit. Forgiveness is the Divine Gift that Human was meant to share. Forgiveness may be the most difficult Human assignment. Even when we Choose to forgive, Human suffers from the injustice they can’t forget.

Human recognizes Forgiveness as Divine. Forgiveness is our most cherished experience offered as Grace from the One Divine Consciousness. Though Human sees Forgiveness as their own Salvation, it’s not in our Human Nature to share it. Fighting to survive, we see the infractions of others as set-backs impossible to overcome. We’re more likely to get even. Wisdom/CIB offers a Way for Forgiveness to be Multiplied to Abundance in our Highest Ascension of Consciousness.

Wisdom/CIB is said to “grow luck like a crop.” Holding the full-understanding of what it means to be Human, CIB guides us to Discover the Archeological Treasure within our Self.  Only Human has the Gift of Retrospection – to look at an experience again to see what we missed the first time. Only Human can go back to Transform any Experience into a Treasure of Truth and Wisdom. Tone 9 and Wisdom/CIB are perfectly positioned together for our Highest Ascension.

Through each round of the Tzolk’in we learn something Deeper about Forgiveness. To understand that we are the ones hurt by our own resentments, barely scratches the surface. I could never “reason” my way out of resentments. The injustice of childhood may be the most difficult “crimes” to forgive, because we Know we were Innocents. We Know we didn’t deserve it.

Childhood resentments were among my greatest hurdles of Forgiveness. I wanted to forgive and be free. I cried, read books, and met with counselors about it, though decades passed without any progress. Sooner or later, the sorrow would all come flooding back. To Forgive and Forget seemed impossible. My fear was that I was damaged beyond repair. That even if I could forgive, there was no way to recover what was lost.

In 3 short years, I’ve Totally Forgiven my childhood. Sorrow is only an “unconscious moment” between Conscious Thoughts. Through Forgiveness, I now see my parents as two of the greatest people I’ve known. I see the Whole instead of small slices of misery that once defined the experience. My Forgiveness never needed to be spoken, because I saw nothing to forgive. I just started loving more.

Mom’s 90, and Dad is 91. They eloped on April 1st, 69 years ago. They called themselves “April Fools” and have always been in love with each other. Mom has lost most of her short-term memory, and Dad is her primary care-giver. They’re determined to live on their own, though have relatives living on land near the farm.

My Dad is as sharp as he ever was, an Expert of Common Sense. He used to pride himself that, “There’s nothing I can buy that I can’t build myself… for twice the price.” I always compare his looks and ways to Spencer Tracy. Though, he had some harder edges in his 20’s. There was really NO monkey business. I was the “different” one. The one who always had to learn things the hard way. Later, it was my sister the Doctor, and me the Divorcee.

He says Mom is “down to a minute.” I make more regular calls knowing he really has no one to talk to. I think of long afternoons he must spend caring for her with his own COPD and poorly mended broken hip. I send care packages of odds and ends, mostly for the entertainment. I figure it kills an hour, plus Mom could explore it multiple times. He doesn’t share many details. I don’t think anyone knows for sure how hard it really is. They refuse free in-home care.

On one of our last calls, Dad said that Mom just didn’t deserve this, that she was always the one to help others. I thought about what he said. We never talked about feelings. I wrote him a message to say that Mom’s Divine Justice was to have him, and how grateful I was to have a Father that loved and cared for my Mother. I told him what he was doing was a Divine Service. I believe I will print his reply and hang it where I can always see it. He said, “Only you would say something nice like that.” What a Miracle it is that I was given 67 years to exchange this Love with my Dad, and that he was kept around for 91 years to See Me, and say something I needed to hear. It was Divine Justice born of finally Seeing Him.

Looking deeper, I received the email on January 26, 7 Wind/IK, the Balancing Place of Spirit and the Winds of Change… guided under the trecena of 1 Wisdom/CIB. I Believe in Miracles, enough to Believe the Miracle is Happening for You.

Through a Transformation of Spirit, our ability to Forgive will be Multiplied to Abundance. We were Drawn to the Creator by our own need for Forgiveness. Our own Transformation was made possible through a Choice to “Give up” in Humility. Our breakthrough was the Truth that we were accepted Just as We Are. The Creator’s gift of Love never saw us at fault. From the Collective Wisdom of Humanity, the Creator Knows the “hard road of life” is strewn with injustice.

We can be Transformed to Forgive by looking more deeply into our own experience of Forgiveness. We were Healed by the Creator’s Unconditional Love. The Creator’s Unconditional Love made it possible to Love our Self and our Life in the world. Knowing we are Forgiven was the Key to our Human Salvation. Forgiveness is the gift that is wanted by every Human Being, the Highest Gift we can Bring. We can Bring It, knowing how deeply we needed and wanted it for our Self.

Our breakthrough will be to see how broken we were before we knew we were Forgiven. In our unconscious struggle to just survive, we were ambitious. Without knowing, we’ve taken advantage of our position. It’s easy for me to pass judgement on those who spend lavishly on their own comfort, while so many others are suffering. At the same time, there are “many ways I accomplish the same thing.” Not a month goes by that I look at what I’ve spent, and see the loss to a Higher Purpose… even for my own interest. Who among us could NOT claim the same thing?

This is our common suffering. How could we be expected to do for someone else, what we can’t even do for our Self. We seek “Forgiveness” as we become Conscious of our own fault. Looking deep into the Heart of Humanity, we see the pain that generates our emotional reactions to injustice. We can’t forgive as long as we are “licking our own wounds.” Forgiveness becomes easy when we are Conscious enough to see that we are ALL broken, ALL suffering, ALL in pain.

Through the Consciousness of this Truth, our Hearts will be turned by Compassionate Love toward each other. We will no longer see the injustice of others as a personal offense, but as the condition of a Broken Heart.  When we can SEE that Hearts are Broken, even our Human Heart can Forgive AND Forget.

Forgiveness is the Key to all Wisdom. When we Forgive, looking beyond the fault that is the same as our own, we begin to See Clearly. Knowing how Forgiveness changed our own life, we have a Higher Reason to Forgive. We can see the Divinity in the Gift we have to offer. We see the Healing it can bring. We can become the “Wounded Healer,” capable to Heal itself by Forgiving Others. Our suffering is exalted in its Highest Purpose. We are capable to Forgive as the “Christ Spirit” Forgave, “because they know not what they do.” When we separate ourselves from the world to Live in Consciousness of our Divine Nature, Forgiveness is Transformed into the Gift we Long to Bring.

Our tolerance to injustice will be Magnified to Abundance. In our State of Highest Consciousness, we will no longer see injustice, no longer cast blame, even when the wounds were intended.

As we Forgive, so will we be Forgiven over and over again. Living in Spirit doesn’t mean we will be immune to our Human Nature. The difference will be we’ll only need to Forgive Once. We may still remember the sorrow, but our tears will be shared equally for each other.

The Cherokee Day Sign is the Owl. The totem Owl is seen as the “announcer of death.” Owl is announcing the Death of our Old Self, as we complete the Birth of our New Spirit. Guided to the “other side” of the Stars, we are being Born as the Old Ones, the Seers, the Sages, and Mystical One. We’ll engage our Highest Thoughts for Humanity to counter the gravity of the world. We’ll take on Owl’s Higher Identity… the Intuition and ability to see what others do not see. We will see beyond deceit and illusion. We’ll hold the Light aloft to signal the nearness of a Transition from Death to Life.

To all my relations, may we see our Meaning and Purpose distilled to the One Divine Act of Forgiveness. Our Forgiveness confirms to others that they are also Beloved… inherently more valuable for Being than for what they’ve done. With our Key, we can open the door for others to Know the Love we were meant to Know. May we look more deeply into the Hearts of those around us. Those who have caused us the most harm, need our Forgiveness the Most of All. May our Compassionate Love serve as the “mystic ferryman who holds the torch aloft” for our Brothers and Sisters, shining a Light on the path of our return to the Stars.

9 Wisdom/CIB (Cherokee, Owl U’GUKU’)

Galactic Tone 9: Patience. The energy of Nine is one of the getting a better perspective of the bigger picture. With the energy of Nine, plans or patterns begin to come to completion. Nine requires patience and perseverance that is found in the bigger picture, otherwise there is great suffering from the lack of insight. The completion of cycles of action is all-important to Nine.

Wisdom/CIB: The old ones. Wisdom of the ancients. Wisdom persons are aligned with the ancient memories that wait in the stone of temples and sacred sites all over the world. Wisdom people grow luck like a crop using a balance of prudence and tenacity. The tremendous inner strength of this sign enables silent introspection to discover areas of oneself that contain wisdom more valuable than any trove of archaeological treasure. Wisdom persons are valiant defenders of family and community. They may become hardened to life and sentiment turned cold. In these cases, they need much forgiveness for their uncaring errors. Periodically connecting with nature and or visiting sacred sites will bring great stability to wisdom persons. A good day to sit on a rock.

Cherokee, Owl U’GUKU’ : Symbol is the Owl is Arcturus, the brightest Star in the Constellation Bootes. The Cherokee Bear constellation (Ursa Major) includes the Big Dipper plus four stars in Bootes.  Owl is a hunter, who stands for the wisdom and ability of all great hunters, the cunning of a fox, the tenacity of a bulldog and strength of a bear. Energy for deep thinkers, strong-willed, rigid convictions, bold and authoritative.  Owl is the Mystic Ferryman who guides Earthlings on the return path to the stars holding the torch aloft.
