8 Eagle / MEN – Ascension of Consciousness: Day 8 of 13

MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

HAPPY EQUINOX!

8 Eagle / MEN

Greetings Kin,

8 Eagle/MEN is the Holy Day of the Star/LAMAT’s trecena of our Highest Ascension. Tone 8 holds the Intention of Divine Justice, the Creator’s Highest Dream for Humanity. Our last trecena was guided by the Eagle who raised us up to the heavenly realm to see a Promise of our future.

On Tone 8, Eagle is exalted in the Intention of “Pure Spirit.” The Kiche Maya observe 8 Eagle/MEN as a Celebration of Holy Communion. Today is an Initiation of Spirit.

In synchronicity, this Holy Day falls on the Spring Equinox, the day the Light of Kulkulkan descends the pyramid. Kulkulkan (Quetzalcoatl) is the God of Light, Justice, Mercy, and Wind. We are Reborn by a new Sacred Breath and Gifted with the Wind.

The discovery of Every Spiritual Truth is possible on a Flight of Spirit. We can turn to the Spiritual Wings of our own Consciousness when our Human sorrow pulls us down. We grew our Wings by Believing in a Consciousness Greater than our own. Our Highest Hopes are One with the Consciousness that Created the Universe.

Tone 8 is the day our Transformation begins as a Gift of Divine Justice. Left to our Human instinct of survival we up a fight to advance and be the first in line. The more we grasp, the more we want. In a world conceived by our Lower Self, there is never enough.

Living in Spirit we find our Salvation in an equal and opposite way. We Give Up to advance our way. We volunteer to be the last in line. We realize the Truth of an Unlimited Abundance – the more we grasp, the more we long to give it away. The more we give away, the Higher we Fly. The Higher we Fly, the more we have to give. We can be Transformed by the Truth of an Unlimited Treasure that exists in the experience of our Spirit Consciousness. Our “Miracle” will be the moment when our Lower and Higher Self agree that our lives are touched by a Divine Hand.

Today we only have to Come as We Are to receive a Blessing of Divine Initiation. Our Gift waits at the Altar where we will kneel in Humility. We will be Healed by a Holy Light. Our Communion can be the High Spiritual Experience we always hoped it could be.

Today is a Life and Death Transition. Something always dies as something new is born. We are born into a new way of living, Conscious of the Gifts we hold. We die to the Human that was suffering to survive.

Eagle/MEN resides in the West, the direction of our Life Experience. The Element of Water is the substance that holds the Ether of Spirit. The Truth that will transform us will be received through the language of the heart.

To all my relations, may we open our heart to receive a Blessing of Divine Justice. May we Know we are fulfilling our Meaning and Purpose. May we Know our Dreams are all fulfilled by our Highest Aspiration, to Know the Dream of the Creator. May we hold our own Holy Communion with the Creator to mark this as a day when we were Acknowledged by the Creator for our Willingness to offer our lives for the fulfillment of a Divine Intention.

in lak’ech, i am another you

8 Eagle/MEN (Cherokee, Eagle/UWO’HATLI)

Galactic Tone 8: Justice. Harmony and balance are the intent of Eight. Eights carefully weighs all evidence to reach a balance of justice. Eight is the power of organization demonstrated in the statement ‘as above, so below,’ from simplicity to infinity, the energy of eight organizes all levels of creation, some eights are ‘neat freaks.’

Eagle/MEN: Intermediary between Heaven and Earth. Due to the Eagles superior point of view and keen intelligence, they achieve material abundance and good fortune. A messenger gifted with patience and a deep sense of value, Eagle brings hope and trust on the wings of Spirit. Eagle persons are very detail oriented and technically inclined. Compassionate service to others sustains prosperity for Eagle personas as the flapping of wings would sustain their bird brothers. If Eagle becomes viciously competitive or possessive, greed and jealousy cause a fall from the heights. Eagles, being blessed with freedom of movement, should be aware of escapism. Eagles may be tempted to just fly away from troubles by using indulgences.

Cherokee, Eagle/UWO’HATLI:  Symbol is Mars the Spirit Warrior. He is a minion of Grandfather Moon. Eagles were the warrior society, the braves the protectors of the nation.Women were included. There was no discrimination which is reflected in the language: third person singular is divided into animate, human and animate, not human instead of he and she.  The energy of high hopes and anticipations, dreams and visions, cosmic consciousness and commitment.  On earth a provider of excellence, leader, husbandry, care-taking of others, financial security and inheritance. Totem-Eagle. Powerful energy for success in worldly affairs, due to far seeing  vision.  Ability to create masses of money and abundance through an intellectual type of profession.  Eagle asks for what he desires and manifests it.  Professor, lawyer, teacher, leader.

By providing the original text, I hope to offer a way to see what inspired my thoughts and by including all the aspects – allow for something more to inspire you.
