MY JOURNAL FOR THE WIND/IK TRECENA IS DEDICATED TO MINISA CRUMBO HALSEY
“WE MUST WALK WITH HUMILITY. WE MUST DO THIS IN ORDER TO SEE AND HEAR ALL THINGS CLEARLY, AND PUT AN END TO THAT WHICH IS NOT REAL.
THE ORIGINAL INSTRUCTIONS
Now comes the work of setting these things we shall call the Original Instructions in place and tending them with attention and highest consciousness.”
Minisa Crumbo Halsey, Author, “Spirit Talk, a count of days”
[Excerpt from Minisa’s writing on the Medicine Wheel Tradition page.]
Minisa is an Elder on the Native American Medicine Wheel path. Her heritage is Citizen Band Potawatomi of the Shawnee, OK agency and Muscogee Creek of the Okmulgee, OK agency. Minisa carried me through the Wind to my first Mayan teaching in San Diego. She has guided the Wisdom of the Medicine Wheel that’s led me since 2002. Thank you Minisa for a Gift of Consciousness that we Breathe and are Breathed by Divine Spirit!*
MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL
Tone 3 is the day of Movement. Through the action of movement or communication, a Dream conceived in our imagination is born into the world.
Night/AKBAL led us to the Void, the place of the Unknown where it’s possible to create anything. Undefined, no limits were placed on what could be. This is a place of the Unseen, yet no less real. Like our world inside the womb, it is a Promise of Life that is yet unknown to the Human within. In the womb we can only imagine a world we hear in muffled tones… as we wonder how we could ever cross the divide into an unseen dimension of being.
We anticipate, yet fear this new world at the same time. Only as the contractions begin, do we feel our freedom is more important. Only when pressed on all sides, do we surrender to an Intention to move into a new world.
Seed/KAN is a symbol of Humanity. They Maya related the Seed of Corn as a representation of all the People, the varied colors of our skin, and the colors that exist within the Human body. Seed holds our two identities, our unique “I Am” in the world, and our Divine “I Am” in Spirit.
Seed/KAN represents the Intention of Life that forms an Identity with a Meaning and Purpose. The two sides of Human are brought into Wholeness by a Spirit of Being, and a Purpose of Movement. In an Intention to live in the realm of Spirit, our Intention is a Spark of Being that will be moved by Divine Spirit.
Human’s Spiritual Gift of Creation is the Power to Reach into the Void and draw forth what we imagine. The Cherokee Day Sign, the Dragon, the ability to “see clearly.” KAN presents the Clear Vision of our Dream.
KAN represents the Spark of the Divine within our own Design, the Creator’s dream for us. Looking deep within our own Spiritual DNA is the Power of Creation, the Power to Create Life. Today we bring to life the creative force within the Seed of our Dream. KAN, also known as the Lizard and the Cherokee Dragon, is the Force of Life, reproduction, sexuality, and creation.
Held within each Seed is the Life Created by the coming together of the Divine Masculine and the Divine Feminine. The Divine Masculine relates to Reason and Will. The Divine Feminine represents the Heart’s response that discerns the Meaning and Purpose. Our Dreams are germinated as a movement for the purpose of a Conscious Intention.
“As Above, So Below” is one of the Principles from the Emerald Tablets, among the oldest recorded Spiritual Teachings as the Principles of Hermes. These Divine Principles are defined as the Answers to all the Mysteries of the Universe. Like the Elders say, “The Answer is in the Question.” These Principles don’t give Answers, but Principles of Truth that can be applied to discern one’s own answers (ie. “if this is true, then…).
In the Summation of the writing, the teaching defined the two identities of Human. The Higher and Lower Self are defined as two unique “identities of consciousness.” The Lower self is our “me” – the personality that exists in the world, managing the mundane tasks of living. Its Power is limited to Human Willpower.
Our Higher Self is an identity of Divine Power, directly connected to the Power of God. Our Higher Self holds the Power to Will the Will of our Lower Self. The Authority of our Higher Self is limited by Human’s Free Will. To access our Divine Power, our Lower Self must Ask for Help.
An Almighty Creator, in Communion with our Higher Self, holds the Power to influence and direct our Human Will. Our Greatest Freedom and Power is Grasped as we Offer the Will of our Human Nature.
Seed/KAN can help us to see clearly in Spirit. Our Human eyes can only perceive a limited range of light. Though, we Know the Truth that other colors exist. Seed/KAN guides us to believe in something that is Real. Even though for now we can only see it in our Imagination, it is no less Real. KAN Sparks our Faith to Believe in the Life Created by our Dream.
To all my relations, may we Breath Life into the Creation of a New “I Am.” May we see it clearly in our Imagination. May we imagine a world where we are all Connected, Because we Are. May we Breathe and be Breathed by the Creator, giving Life to a New and Higher Dream by taking a Higher Leap of Faith in Love, and the Promise that we Can Create Love in the Realm of our Imagination. May we Grasp the Opportunity that Ian’s 12 Sun/AHAU guides us to do and Carry On a Creation of Unconditional Love.

3 Seed/KAN (Cherokee, Dragon/UKTE’NA)
Galactic Tone 3: Action. Three is basic movement and communication, which begins as a vibration. Three energy is very eloquent in all types of self-expression. Communication is how Three establishes a point of agreement between any point “A” and any point “B”. Three persons are rhythmic to the core and are often restless, as motion is their nature. By working closely with the energy of Three, any person becomes more able to predict motions of all kinds.
Seed/KAN: Family, sexual activity and the magic of germination are the characteristics of this sun sign. Natural net workers, Seed people strive to free themselves and others from debt or oppressive patterns of the past. Abundance is gathered by Seeds as if with a cast net. Seed persons are public defenders who work toward uniting community by discovering hidden traps and secret influences of others. To generate true abundance, Seed must learn to appreciate all gifts and lessons received and conduct profound investigations into its self. In the absence of gratefulness and the courage to face oneself, Seed finds itself in less than less fertile environments.
Cherokee, Dragon/UKTE’NA O’STO: Dragon’s symbol is Draco winding between the Little Dipper and Big Dipper. Dragon is the Corn Spirit, symbol of dual personality of Corn Mother and Maiden; fertility and pro-creation from generation to generation. The word dragon means “eye, to look at, to see clearly”. Spirit brings energy of Lawgiver, Justice, vigilance and protective, loyal unto death. Ley lines in China are “dragon lines”, energy is sometimes called “orgone energy”, pyramid power or magnetic force. Pyramids and kivas are collector portals for this energy, knon as vortexes. Dragon energy beats a path everywhere, stirring things up with a big stick in tune with the beat of the drum, heartbeat of the Earth.
