MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL
Tone 2 holds the Intention of Duality. We began in Unity, One with Everything. Tone 2 represents the Consciousness of seeing that we are separate, a Consciousness unto our Self.
The second step in Creation is our own Discernment of Divine Inspiration. From our Primordial Mother, IMIX, we learned that we were given a choice to be anything our Heart Desired. Tone 2 leads us to consider the possibilities and Choose what our Heart Desires to bring Life to the Creation.
Wind/IK is the Breath of Life and Breath of Spirit. Wind/IK guides a way to make our Choice.
Wind/IK resides in the North, the direction of Wisdom. Holding the Element of Air, Wind relates to our Mind and all our faculties of Wisdom and Consciousness.
Crocodile/IMIX awakened our Imagination with “wild ideas.” We were guided to see that even our “wildest ideas” are worthy dreams of Creation. There’s not a dream we could imagine that our Primordial Mother wouldn’t celebrate and encourage. IMIX is known for unleashing our passion by opening the door to all possibility.
Wind/IK is awakening our Mind of Intellect. We will need a logical way to discern the best choices for our Self. We’ve been given an important decision to make in the Intention that will lead our first climb of Spiritual Growth. If we can create anything, how should we choose between one thing and another?
Wind draws upon a Source of Collective Wisdom, all the Truths Known about the Creator and The Creation. Our Divine Guidance will be the Creator’s first Breath. The One who Loves us the Most would only guide us in a Divine Direction.
Master Numbers: Each of the Day Signs represent a Position in the rotation of the 20 Day Signs. During the first trecena of 1 IMIX, each of the Kin reflect their Master Number. 2 Wind/IK is second in position, reflecting Tone 2 and Position 2, Master Number 22. Number 2 relations to our Divine Life Purpose and Soul Mission.Master Number 22 magnifies the attributes of our Divine Nature for the manifestation of our Highest Ideals and Desires. [Sacred Scribes]
The Sacred Breath is the Element of Air that connects us all. We are one in the Rise and Fall. Using our Intellect, we can remember yesterday, when all we knew was Oneness. Remembering that our Spirits are a Collective Consciousness, it would only make sense that we should create something that Honors the Whole. There are an Unlimited Number of Choices that Honor the Whole. When we set out to learn and acquire Wisdom, any wild idea we’re passionate about, holds blessings for the Whole. With Passion we can be the Innovators for the Whole. Not bound by what the world thinks, our Creation doesn’t have to fit into any mold that was created before. Whole New Creations are Possible.
Using our Intellect, we will Know the Difference between Darkness and Light. The Life of the Seed is sustained by the Sacred Breath of Wisdom. We were Born Knowing the direction toward the Light. We only need to Move there On Purpose.
Our Mind of Reason was given for Divine Discernment. Reasoning serves Human below, allowing for calculations, measurements, and figuring out how things work. Our Mind of Reason is the contractor that reads from the plans to create. There’s another Divine way to apply this same Gift of Reason to the realm of Spirit. To create in the realm of Spirit, we throw out all the plans and let Spirit direct us.
We are guided to make a Discernment that draws upon Divine Wisdom. The Choice is always ours. Seeking Advice offers a measure of comparison. Our Choices will be guided by a Divine Meaning and Purpose.
The Cherokee Whirlwind is the double-helix of smoke that carries our Prayers Heavenward to the Creator. Wind is a channel through which the Creators breath was spoken. The Earth spun into the Movement of Life by a Sacred Breath. The Winds of the Creator will guide a direction. We have a Divine Wind at our Back, when our Creations Express our own Unconditional Love.
The Elders always said to pay attention when a gust of wind stirs up, or when a friendly breeze passes by. They said to stop and remember what we were thinking about. Often, a friendly breeze is the Creator’s response to a Divine or Loving Thought. There is a Sacred Exchange through the Wind. We even question whether the Wind that changes our landscape isn’t a leveling of Harmony and Equity, a larger response that speaks to collective thoughts of Humanity.
We can always count on the Wind to blow us toward a Divine Experience. The Whirlwind is also known as the 13th Dancer, the one who leads the 12 Constellations (reflections of Humanity) from Above. Wind holds the Wisdom of the Ascended Ones, the Wisdom of Experience, and the Innocent Wisdom of a Child. We aren’t expected to Know How, but only Believe Like Children that a Higher Wisdom will blow us in the right direction.
To all my relations, may Honor the Divinity of the Sacred Breath that brought Mother Earth to Life. May give thanks that we inherently Know where the Sun is shining, even under cloudy skies. May the Creator be our Direction. May we Know that anything we choose that we Love is a Worthy Creation as long as it Honors the Sacred Choice of Every Human. All our Creations are worthy as an Expression of Love, because Love is the Beauty that every living thing is Conscious Of. May we Draw the Sacred Breath of the Creator’s Light, Love, and Direction. Whatever we choose that our Heart Desires, may we ask that it be manifested in the way that the Creator would intend for it to come together. May we know that we don’t have to take shortcuts, or compromise our own Truth, to manifest our Dream in the Best Way, Time, and Place. Our New Inner Strength will be gained Believing in the Way of the Creator.

2 Wind/IK (Cherokee Whirlwind/ DAK’SI I’SB)
Galactic Tone 2: Mysterious as the question ‘to be or not to be?” Two is the recognition of the separation of self from all else and the desire to be rejoined. Walking a balance while making choices of all kinds, light/dark, male/female, good/bad, Yin/Yang, is the energy of this number. Experiencing the differences between one and another is the use and purpose of this number.
Wind/IK: Breath of Spirit, breath of life. Winds embody the power of dissemination and planting of good seeds or ideas. Dreamers and planners with powerful imaginations, Wind persons make great orators and they spread the word of spiritual inspiration as it is carried by the wind. Wind is the power behind the movement of natural cycles such as weather, erosion, and cultural change. As the wind, these persons are extremely changeable and adaptable. They may appear inconsistent or fickle to others. Wind can be destructive to self and others by putting on airs. When Winds strut and boast, expanding on facts and accomplishments, they are building the dark clouds of trouble that may become hurricanes.
Cherokee, Whirlwind/AGALU’GA: Whirlwind’s symbol is a double spiral helix in rising smoke. Wind brings energy for an Inquiring mind, learning and wisdom. In Cherokee, the constellations are represented by 12 birds (dancers), the 13th bird is the Whirlwind, the lead dancer. This reflects the whirling of life. Wind is the breath of the Universe (matching the Mayan symbol) channel of communication and carries the Sacred Smoke to the Great Spirit (Source- Hunab Ku in Mayan); matches the pulse of the breath of the Cosmos.
