THE TRECENA OF SUN/AHAU
MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL
Tone 12 presents the Intention of Understanding. A Divine Truth becomes our own Wisdom when it moves from the Head to the Heart. Tone 12 is Human’s Divine Gift of Comprehension.
Number 12 is the symbol of Human, associated with the 12 tribes, the 12 disciples, and the 12 constellations. 12 is the number of Human as a “2 below” that stands by a “1 above.” The energy of 12 evolves by Divine Design to the Ascension of 13. The 2 aligned with 1 becomes the 3 of a Divine Trinity.
Monkey/CHUEN corresponds with Dog/OC as the essence central to the Consciousness of a Supreme Creator. Dog/OC offered Love as the Freedom to Create. Like the Dog celebrates its Life on Mother Earth, the Monkey celebrates its Consciousness. A Monkey is driven by a curiosity just to see what it can do and how things work.
When we Know we will always Belong, that nothing could ever separate us from the Creator’s Love, we’ll Realize the Beauty of our Freedom to Be. Monkey/CHUEN is the Master Artist and the Weaver of Time. The glyph illustrates a Monkey with All Time rolled up on its head. Like the Dog seizes every opportunity for Love, the Monkey seizes ALL Time as a Place to Love Creating.
CHUEN Awakens our Love of Creation. Loving our Self, we’ll choose what we Love to do instead of what we thought we had to do. The Monkey loves to use its Imagination. Holding the Element of Water that suspends the Ether of our Spirit, CHUEN is a Mystical Muse of Creation and an Alchemist at Play.
One of the Spiritual Gifts we take for granted is the Power of Time Travel. We hold the Power to Create Love in the Past, Present, and Future. We can follow Dog’s trail back to the treasures that were buried. Looking for it again with the Wisdom of Love, we’ll find what we look for. Monkey/CHUEN can weave the Times of our Life into a the Beauty and Tapestry of our Life. Residing side-by-side with the Dog, CHUEN comprehends that Love is Eternal.
Monkey/CHUEN resides in the West, the direction of our Unknown Experience. A Monkey Loves the Darkness as Time to Dream. CHUEN doesn’t finish every Masterpiece. The vision of it has already manifested the possibility. A Monkey knows it can travel back later and pick up where it left off. The Monkey is more interested in the next “shiny thing” of Love.
Monkey knows ALL human creations hold the Light of the Creator’s Love. When it’s hard to see, Monkey looks closer to see what may be hidden beneath the surface.
The Cherokee Day Sign is the Raccoon, another friendly trickster. The Raccoon and the Monkey trick us into seeing our Self by poking fun. The Raccoon is said to be intent on coaxing a smile. The Raccoon laughs at all the treasures of Love that were tossed out with the trash. A Raccoon knows all things look different when they’re cleaned up with a little bit of Water that holds the Ether of Love.
The Raccoon and the Monkey don’t “get” the idea of failure. They Love the mystery. A Monkey is gifted like Human with the Sense to figure things out.
When we Know Love is everywhere, Love will become an object of curiosity. CHUEN also Loves Tools. Every experience can be adapted as a Tool for the Monkey.
Monkeys have been studied for a phenomenon of collective consciousness. Science called it the “100th monkey effect.” They discovered monkeys isolated on an island employing a new tool. The 100th monkey was conceived as a threshold number, as other monkeys is places far away suddenly adopted the same tool. Our Consciousness of Love like thoughts floating in thin Air, multiply into a body of thought that shines brighter than random or unconscious thoughts. By the Power of Numbers, a pack of Light, like a constellation, is easier to See than a Star that shines alone. We add the Light of Love to the Whole Pack when we Believe in the Treasure.
With the help of the Monkey and the Raccoon we can see how silly it is to believe Love has to look a certain way. How could it be true when so many see it from a different perspective? Believing in Love, Monkey sees the exceptions as a puzzle to figure out.
Our Love can be hard to see when we are unconsciously trying to create it. That’s when our Ego is Hoping To Be Seen. The Monkey helped me see one of my own silly tricks. I used to think I was Loving when I related my own experience to the experiences shared by others. I thought I was empathizing by sharing something we have in common. (Now that I look at it again, I thought “sameness” was the key to Love.) What Monkey helped me see was that when I responded to someone else’s story with my own shared experience, I wasn’t LISTENING. I was actually thinking about myself and my story while they were telling theirs.
Seeing and Acknowledging creates the experience of Love. It’s more Divine to draw out the story someone else wants to share. Love is created by genuine curiosity about each other.
I’ve discovered that in nearly every personal conversation, somewhere amid the pleasantries, people will mention something they Love. It is not the headline story, but a side note from Love on their mind. It could be a simple as mentioning their child’s soccer practice last night. It might be the last line of an email that shares good wishes for the day. When we LISTEN without thinking about our Self, we will hear Love we can see and acknowledge. When we draw others out, they will receive the Blessing of Love that IS “being Seen and Acknowledged.”
The Monkey and Raccoon might have a laugh at the simple Truth that LISTENING is an Expression of Love. All we have to do is open our eyes and shut our mouth. It’s genius how this one little effort to SEE and LISTEN can bring Harmony and Happiness to ALL our relationships. (Do you know anyone who never hears your story? You hesitate to share it with them, when what you share becomes the intro for their story? Sometimes it’s easier to see it someone else.)
We HAVE to have a sense of humor to see these things in our self. When I look back at my beginning of a daily Intention of Consciousness, I can clearly see how I’ve changed. So clearly, sometimes I’m mortified by foolish things I was doing just a few years ago… things I’ve said or done without any forethought. Consciousness has forged new relationships over Time. We have to remember that God Honors the Intention just the same. Holding the Wisdom of Love, we allow someone else’s Love to take center stage.
We have the power to go back and change our beginnings of Love. It took so many years to forgive the injustices of my childhood. At one time I was sure I was damaged beyond all repair due to a lack of Love at the beginning. I kept going back in time to the same moment without looking around. Then one day, while I was back there, I simply looked around. I saw my old bedroom… a bedroom that was all my own. Then, I saw summer vacations and Dad’s scheme with the neighbors to play Santa and lay out the toys while we were out on our Christmas Eve drive to see the lights. I remember how we couldn’t go back home until Dad was sure he’d seen Santa’s sleigh over our neighborhood. I was always Loved. I could finally see the Whole picture of an Intention to Love. There was more Love than silly tricks. We might consider the Truth that yelling at the kids to get out of the street is a call of Love.
Monkey/CHUEN holds the potential for a mystical experience of understanding. The Maya were Masters of Time and used the Divine Gift of Consciousness to explore other Times and Places. Ian Xel Lungold explained the Time and Place of Consciousness as an intersection of Truth… a Divine Moment that marks the Truth of Love.
To all my relations, may we Give Thanks for the Consciousness to See the Love of ALL Time. May we know that even in our darkest days, Love is buried somewhere as a treasure. The next time we go back to relive an “injustice” – as long as we’re traveling through Time – may we have the curiosity to explore the whole landscape. May we celebrate our own Spiritual Gift to go back and see it.
May we give thanks that a Divine Creator sees the Truth behind our silly ways. We’re still Sacred for an Intention, even in our failures of execution. May we see others in their Best Light before we pass final judgement. May we see our Self in our own Best Light, and see the humor in errors of unconsciousness we can finally leave behind. May we believe in the Magic of the Creator’s Love that allows us to change the past to create a new future.
May look with curiosity for the Love that is meant to be seen now. The Love of each one of us will be given its own Time and Place. Love always multiplies over Time. May we Know that what we were unable to see before when we acknowledge that we See it Now. May we realize the Magic of Love to create a New Life from the beginning to manifest a New Reality Now and into the future. May we put ALL the pieces of Love back together and take the Truth of Love to our Heart.

Jaguar Woman/9 Eagle/MEN
A JOURNEY HOME:
I’ll be with you in Spirit as I make a visit home to celebrate my Dad’s 93rd birthday. Posts have been written and scheduled in advance. The Internet is not so reliable out on the farm, so please excuse my delay in responding to your comments over the weekend. I would welcome the Light of your prayers. The time becomes more precious with every visit. It took 65 years to see the whole picture. It only took 260-days to figure it out, once I chose to follow the thoughts of a Divine calendar. It seems like there’s hardly enough time to share all the Love I’ve discovered.
I have been afraid something could happen while I’m there. I’ve decided to make it a 4 day Sacred Ceremony. I’ll begin the journey at the altar and follow the Jaguar’s footprints until I get back home. much love, in lak’ech, Debra

12 Monkey/CHUEN (Cherokee, Raccoon/KVH’LI)
Galactic Tone 12: Understanding. This number’s energy is a gift of great capability, of retrospection. It is this ability that allows Twelve to connect disassociated parts into a (new) functioning whole. The energy of Twelve is that which presents a new piece of understood information or accumulated experience to be applied.
Monkey/CHUEN: Monkey is known to the Maya as the Weaver or Weaver of Time. Monkey takes ideas as threads of vines and weaves them into the fabric of our reality. New patterns or inventions are also woven into our lives by Monkey. Amiable, intelligent, generous and a jack of all trades, Monkey’s innocent curiosity leads to artistic expression and constructive solutions. Many Monkeys become highly respected merchants or speakers. They love performing practical jokes and crave attention, so much so that they may over-act or play the fool to get the spotlight. Monkeys have a short attention span and find it difficult to stay with anything long enough to master it.
Cherokee, Raccoon/KVH’LI: Star Symbol: Algol, a star in Perseus. Restless energy yearning for long-lost love. Algol was named DEMON STAR or MISCHIEVOUS ONE by the Ancients because it winks and fades at times. Raccoons are full of friendly mischief, eager to swap kisses for candy; magnetic leaders, full of humor and gaiety. Favorite food is corn, the mainstay of the Cherokee. Very artistic while being the “masked bandit” who steals your heart.
