3 Deer / MANIK
Greetings Beloved Kin,
Touched by the Hand of God our Hearts were forged through the Word to the Light of the Highest One. Deer/MANIK is a symbol of the shaman and the Mayan priest. Another name for MANIK is Hand. The glyph illustrates the Vigilant Eye of the Deer that is focused on the Truth Above. Between the forefinger and thumb, the Hand grasps a Light of Ether, the plasma that welds us to a circuit of Divine Love on behalf of the whole.
The Mission of the Mayan priest is the Count the Days, and to carry out the rituals and sacred ceremonies as ordered by Time. All eyes are turned to see the Smoke when the smell of copal fills the air. MANIK is dedicated to the purpose to help us Remember. Holding the Gift of Harmonic Resonance, all lower vibrations are drawn into sympathy with the Purest Tone of Unconditional Love. When someone says a prayer on our behalf, we are inclined to bow in agreement with the One who creates the opportunity of Divine Trinity.
The Word of Truth speaks for itself and strikes a Note we can Feel and Hear that’s as clear as a Bell. Like the Sound of the Shofar, the Divine Truth is the Trumpet’s sound that echo’s in our Heart.
The trecena guided by Serpent/CHICCHAN holds the meaning and purpose for us to Know the Truth of our Divine Gifts of Spirit. They are a Divine Offering given to the whole in Harmony and Equity. Through the Vigilant Consciousness of the Deer, we’ll Know the Truth. That’s the purpose of our Mission to be dedicated to a daily practice that leads to an altar. Through our offerings of Atonement, we’ll Feel the Truth and KNOW our own special gifts, given directly from Above.

Algiz – Symbol of the Sage that knows the Highest Meaning and Purpose of our Life – to Save another. We were created to Know, as the witness that shares the same Truth, As Above, So Below.
Deer/MANIK is the nahaul that shares the Spiritual Tools for Knowing, the one that keeps every Spiritual Tool that’s been given. In the down below, the High Priest holds the Medicine Bundle, the Staff and the Tools passed down by every generation that came before. Don Alejandro is the 13th generation High Priest of the Maya and leader for many indigenous tribes on Earth. He was called to serve in the Time of the 13th Baktun that completed an era of Humanity, and the one to share the Sacred Mysteries of the Mayan calendars with the world.
The Elders say that the Masters of Spirit Feel the Truth when we remember them in our prayers and send them our offerings of Love. Remember “Wandering Wolf” in your prayers. Remember His Holiness the Dalai Lama. Remember the Inam, the High Priests of the Muslims, the Holy Rabi of the Jewish faith. Remember Jesus the Christ, and the Highest Masters of every tradition on Earth. We can share our Light with the Whole who kneel in humility at the Altar to Love. We are connected to the Source of Divine Power to Spread our Light around the world. The Whole will receive the blessing, and FEEL the Truth to be drawn to follow. Love is our Highest Calling and the most Powerful Truth we can Create to Know about our Self.
The Whole is reaching to the One Lord of Creation who shared the Gift of Unconditional Love. One God, the Omega, is the all-in-one.
MANIK holds the Element of Water, used by the Mayan priest for the Sacred Ceremonies of Baptism, Initiations, and Purification, through the Offering of Living Water. Deer/MANIK symbolizes the Hand of God below. The path to every altar is consecrated and blessed by the One and Only Highest One. Humanity holds the Living Water of Spirit and the Spark of Divine Power to ignite the Truth of the Whole.
Through CHICCHAN, the symbol of Feeling the Truth of our own Spirit you will Know when you feel the involuntary Light of Divine Revelation rising from from your roots to the Crown of your Tree of Life.
The Supreme Lord of Creation always shares the Truth we need to know, exactly when we need to know. Our most developed Gift of Spirit is the Sense of Danger we know as “fight or flight.” We don’t even have to believe in supernatural powers to take heed of that warning. We were given the Divine Sense to follow. We feel it, every time we double-check all the locks on the doors, and when we Know the times and places where we should never go. CHICCHAN represents that Power to move us beyond all the evidence of Reason by a Feeling in our Heart.
From the Truth of that One Divine Provision we Know, we can use our Gift of Reason to know that all our Gifts are Real as an Offering of Divine Design. When we choose the Gift of Vigilant Consciousness, we’ll follow all the Gifts to know the Truth of our own “gut instincts.”
Whenever we asked the Elders for an Answer about Spirit, they always said, “The Answer lies in the Question.” We wouldn’t ask if we didn’t already know an Answer. We only ask the question to validate the Truth we already know within. I remember in the beginning how I wondered, “Why don’t they just tell us the Truth?” It took years “to get” that we’ll never grow into the Maturity of Knowing, until we See and Acknowledge the Truth that always lies within.
The Sacred Right of Choice is the only way to learn when our instincts are guided by Spirit or guided by the doubts and fears of our emotions. Only by making Conscious Choices of what “we think” the Truth to be, will we Feel the difference between the Truth of Spirit and the Lies born of the Human Ego. That’s a perfect reason why we are always given a Second Chance. It takes more than one try to learn the way. The sacrifice we have to make is admitting when we were wrong. Our pride and ego gets in the way of our Highest Blessings of learning we DO KNOW. And, we knew all along. The only Truth we don’t know is the Truth we can’t accept because we don’t want to know. On the “hard road” of life there are some very dark truths that are hidden on purpose. The whole problem started in the “Garden of Eden” when we chose to know the Whole Truth of our Darkness and our Light.
Humanity spends a whole era of time wandering around in the darkness to find the Light. The first Truth we have to face is the darkness within. Serpent/CHICCHAN is the Time for a Second Chance to know the Darkness that Reveals the Greatest Truth of Light. No matter which way we go, if we’re willing to see the darkness, the One Above can prove we’ll be Saved by the Light of Unconditional Love, for our Self and through our Love for the whole.
Only standing in the Integrity of our own Truth can the Truth Speak for itself. When we see the dark truth within, and realize all the Time it takes to learn, we’ll raise the “Christ Spirit” within that raises the Divine Offering to the Highest One, “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.” Only the wounded Heart can be born again with the Love of Compassion, when we are Wiling to Know how it feels to walk in someone else’s shoes.
The Deer holds position 7, as a Divine One, capable to see “all that is” and “all that is not” the beautiful Truth of the Creator’s Love.
Time is the challenge we share because we want to know everything “right now.” It takes a lot of Time and a lot of Choices to know. Our greatest human limitation is that we forget, when the Ego tells us we hold the power to change the Truth we don’t want to know. No one can tell us the Truth we’ve chosen not to see. Our Ego can’t bear the Light of the Truth. The Mission of the Deer and the Way of Vigilant Consciousness is the only way to Remember at least once every day when we’re kneeling at an altar, humbled by the Truth of Unconditional Love. Only the Ego worries what “everyone will say” about us, when we speak the Truth from our Heart.
The Power we hold to make it to the end is to claim the Truth we’ll follow from the beginning. This is the Day of Divine Trinity when we’re Moved by the One Above to step onto the path of Right Relationship in Divine Harmony. Through all our different ways the Sounds of our own Truth can strike the Lost Chord of Faith in one another for all the paths that lead to the same Divine End of Love.
Where two or more are gathered we are Gifted with an Exponential Power of Prayer. The Truth of Love is the Living water that can ripple through the whole body of Living water. We hold the Power to pray backwards and forwards for those who came before, and those who will follow to complete the Divine Circle of Life for the Creator’s Highest Meaning and Purpose for Time. The Deer offers the Gift of Stability with 4 legs to stand in every direction of our Life.
A Divine Creator shared an Army of Angels to guide us. We can Choose to Believe in the Messengers of Light and we can Choose to be an Earth Angel when we dedicate our Hand, our Heart, and our Mind. A Divine Father will bless our Soul.
all my love, in lak’ech – I am another you, praying for you and me and every Master that leads our way back, beyond the Stars that shine above

3 Deer/MANIK (Cherokee, Deer/Ahwu’sdi)
Galactic Tone 3: Action. Three is basic movement and communication, which begins as a vibration. Three energy is very eloquent in all types of self-expression. Communication is how Three establishes a point of agreement between any point “A” and any point “B”. Three persons are rhythmic to the core and are often restless, as motion is their nature. By working closely with the energy of Three, any person becomes more able to predict motions of all kinds.
Deer/MANIK (Hand): Deer are spirit tools. Silence itself is a spiritual experience for Deer. For Deer life is a pilgrimage. Deer are dominant persons who defend the people and will make sacrifices for others. The spirit of Deer upholds the pillars of the four directions. With the power inherent in the number four, Deer pushes away bad influences or negative energies. Skill and quality of work are very important to Deer. They are presented with tools for every task in life and it is with these that they are able to rise above limitations. Deer has a habit of keeping every tool it has ever used. This leads to clutter and indecision, loss and procrastination. When confronted with promises not kept, Deer becomes stubborn, manipulative and evasive.
Cherokee, Deer/Ahwu’sdi: Symbolized by Constellation Galagina, the Stag, known as Taurus, the Bull. It does not include the Pleiades and Hyades clusters which in Cherokee are viewed as separate. To feed, gatherers of food and supplies, they enjoy rituals, ceremonials, feasts, the souls of hospitality, sociability. Freedom versus security issues often inspire leadership and unique solutions. Combined with artistic and inspiring energies in harmony with lunar cycles, they nourish the clans. Totem-Deer: A priest or shaman, a powerful person in general, to overwhelm an individual with one’s personal power, divination; inclined to become a teacher, healer, guru, civic leader, or politician. Ability to create harmonic resonance.
