6 Eagle / MEN
Greetings Beloved Kin,
Peak Tone 6 raises the Intention of Flow. When we carry on turning from the darkness to the Light, a force of Momentum is created from a rhythm and pattern of movement. The Dog/OC trecena is “the work” of creating the Creator’s Highest Meaning and Purpose for Life. In affinity with Monkey/CHUEN, the nahaul of a Master of all Arts holds the power to manifest the Beauty of Life.
Dynamic developments are possible in the Peak Tones of the trecena. Unseen forces at play are the Laws of the Supreme Creator’s Divine Design. On Tone 6 we’re guided to let go, and be carried by the Flow of the Creator’s Unconditional Love and Sacred Exchange for every Divine Choice we make.
The Eagle shares the Vision to see the future, knowing that whatever it can see lies within its grasp. We are guided by MEN to direct our focus beyond the Highest Hopes we can imagine. We don’t have to see the whole picture. The Creator’s blessings are beyond our imagination. It’s better to mark the destination with an “X” that marks the spot.
The Year Bearer, 11 Deer/MANIK shares the Spiritual Tool of Vigilant Consciousness, and Eagle/MEN offers the Intention to never look away. The Eagle flies by intuition, leaning in to the Wind of Truth. The Eagle flies in the closest proximity to the realm of the Creator, seeing the direct path without any obstacles from Point A to Point B.
Number 6 is a symbol of 3 x 2. Tone 6 offers the consciousness of Two Divine Trinities working as One to manifest the Highest End.
The only way the Eagle fails to grasp the prize is through a choice to fly away. The Eagle’s shadow is a fear of competition, the obstacles that were seen from the ground. Holding the Element of Water, Eagle holds passion for the future and is burdened by the Time. 6 Eagle/MEN guides us to let go of any idea that “it’s too late now,” or any doubts or fears that someone else “will get there first.”
Eagle/MEN resides in the West. Remember that the Truth is always found right in front of you. Keep following the Jaguar’s path to the East where the Sun Rises, to REMEMBER the Divine Source of your Dreams. Eagle represents the Heart that reaches for its Highest Hopes and Highest Aspirations. Our Unseen Future is bound to weigh heavy, when we’ve never experienced it before.
We can turn the darkness of the Unknown into Light when we remember how much we LOVE the Dream, and a Promise that the Dream that was given has our name on it. A Divine Authority won’t let anyone else grasp the prize that was intended as our own from the beginning. They have their own prize. The Wind will carry them elsewhere.

Beginning in January, hundreds of Bald Eagles migrate along the Skagit River in the Northern Cascades of Washington State.
To fly by Intuition, we lean in to the Truth we KNOW. The Eagle zero’s in on the prize to take a Leap of Faith, falling into the Wind that catches its wings. We can let go and a Truth of Divine Unseen Forces will catch us when we fall. The One most important Truth to Remember is the Divine Provision for every Human limitation. That Truth applies to One and the Whole. No Human limitation to Love will ever stand in our way, for what is Divinely Meant to Be.
To all my relations, may we claim our Highest Hopes and our Highest Aspirations are all held under the Authority of a Higher Hand Above. May we remember that the Creator’s Divine Will is the Beauty of Unconditional Love. Through a Gift of Living Water, the Creator holds the power to change every Human Heart.
May we keep our Eagle Eyes fixed on the Prize, and never look away from the end. May we remember the “X” marks Our Spot, and think only of the moment when our Hand closes around a Dream as it was Promised from Above.
love, in lak’ech,
Debra, 9 Eagle/MEN
THE JAGUAR’S MAGIC OF GRATITUDE:
I’m grateful for the nahauls of Spirit that taught us that it’s possible to fly.

NEW SEASON – VOLUME 2: Tzolk’in Seasons 3 and 4 (PUBLISHED SEPTEMBER 20,
6 Eagle/MEN (Cherokee, Eagle/UWO’HATLI)
Galactic Tone 6: Six is responsiveness and the art of negotiation. It is the movement of volume through space that creates time. This energy in action is like the art of dance or a great athlete in motion. Six facilitates dynamic developments in all aspects of life.
Eagle/MEN: Intermediary between Heaven and Earth. Due to the Eagles superior point of view and keen intelligence, they achieve material abundance and good fortune. A messenger gifted with patience and a deep sense of value, Eagle brings hope and trust on the wings of Spirit. Eagle persons are very detail oriented and technically inclined. Compassionate service to others sustains prosperity for Eagle personas as the flapping of wings would sustain their bird brothers. If Eagle becomes viciously competitive or possessive, greed and jealousy cause a fall from the heights. Eagles, being blessed with freedom of movement, should be aware of escapism. Eagles may be tempted to just fly away from troubles by using indulgences.
Cherokee, Eagle/UWO’HATLI: Eagle’s symbol is Mars the Spirit Warrior. He is a minion of Grandfather Moon. Eagles were the warrior society, the braves the protectors of the nation. Women were included. There was no discrimination which is reflected in the language: third person singular is divided into animate, human and animate, not human instead of he and she. The energy of high hopes and anticipations, dreams and visions, cosmic consciousness and commitment. On earth, a provider of excellence, leader, husbandry, care-taking of others, financial security and inheritance.

By providing the original text, I hope to offer a way to see what inspired my thoughts and by including all the aspects – allow for something more to inspire you. Mayan descriptions are those written by Ian Lungold. Cherokee descriptions came from multiple sources.
