4 Storm / CAUAC

Greetings Beloved Kin,

There are over 3,000,000 flashes that strike the Earth every day. Lightning breaks the molecules of Oxygen apart that’s recreated into Water that holds the molecules of Nitrogen, the building blocks for Life. Lightning senses the positive charges reaching highest from Earth to direct its path. We can expand the Offering of the Creator’s Light, by reaching higher to apply the Truth Above, to our experience in the realm of physicality below. That’s the proof our subconscious mind needs to claim the Truth as our own experience.

On a scale of Earth’s time, we’re enriching our soil for the Seed that will be planted in the Spring. We can create the stronger legs to stand through experiences that expand the “Truth we see with our own eyes” that will be claimed by our unconscious thoughts to empower our way. We hold the power to change the logarithm of our Faith to Believe, and Know our Divine Dreams are meant to be.

I’m sharing my new strategy for new ways to expand my faith and stand stronger on my own two feet.

This morning I woke to all kinds of ideas about making wiser choices for the future, to better utilize the “powers at hand.” It started with small things, like turning off the lights, turning down the thermostat and switching to wearing a sweater. Small steps lead to greater things when our subconscious mind sees the Truth of any intention.

I’ve been saving cardboard boxes, inspired by DIY YouTube videos about all the things you can create with them, like reinforced storage shelves and decorative boxes. It’s all coming together now with the passion to get busy and organize my life.

I’ve been drawn to think about the effects of purifying water. There is very hard water where I live. I found it can have a profound effect on health. I found the effects of bathing in it are hard on the hair and skin. Maybe in the future, I’ll install a water filter. But for now, I’m looking for conservative solutions.  I found that you can add salt when you shampoo, as well as using on your skin to clear away old residues left behind by hard water. At the same time I learned that rinsing hair in water with lemon, ascorbic acid or vinegar, in cold water closes the hair follicles to help keep it clean.

A virtual buddy, Pauline, recently shared insight on creating “structured water” – changing stagnant tap water by pouring it over river stones in a sieve to mimic nature’s way of purifying water. She pours it back and forth 13 times and has learned to add Amethyst, clear quartz, moonstone, citrine, carnelian, sodalite, red agate, red jasper, and green aventurine into the mix. Shungite is another stone/mineral for purifying water that’s inexpensive when bought in bulk chips. It’s inspired me to create my own Holy Water for my altars, and enough to drink at least one glass a day. (See update to instructions in comments.)

Sweet breads and Hostess Cupcakes have been a set-back lately. I remembered an old recipe for Irish Soda Bread that’s an easy quick bread that would be better than that, if I need some treat to turn to. (Recipe below.)

Have you been inspired to “amp it up?” Any “higher way” to apply the Truth of reaching for something better is an experience that the subconscious mind will claim as a new Intention and direction for elevating the meaning of everything we do.

The best ones will be things that you are personally drawn to as positive to you – things you may have already collected around the house, that can be put to a higher intention and purpose.

The only other personal recommendation I’d offer is to “create something every day.” I’m working in small steps on arts and crafts toward intentions of manifesting a new revenue stream in the future. There is  SO MUCH DIY inspiration on YouTube about what you can do with cardboard boxes and other things we just throw in the trash. We don’t have to do BIG things to put an Intention into motion toward a higher end. And we are always inspired by some “next thing” when we’re creating ANYTHING that’s fun to do. I’m starting on small scales, and claiming that there’s no rush. One thing will lead to another on God’s Time. It FEELS big and easy that way. And, it will keep me busy with a dream for a little step I can accomplish every day.

Earth Exchanges the Power of Lightning from Above when we offer her our bare feet.
Lightning is one of nature’s most recurrent and common spectacles. Around the world, there are over 3,000,000 flashes every day. Lake Maracaibo in Venezuela is the place on Earth that receives the most lightning strikes. Massive thunderstorms occur on 140-160 nights per year with an average of 28 lightning strikes per minute lasting up to 10 hours at a time. That’s as many as 40,000 lightning strikes in one night! While nitrogen is in the air all around us, for plants to be able to absorb it (a process vital for their growth) they rely on a process called Nitrogen fixation. It’s fast, easy, and so good… and made from ingredients I usually have on hand. If I have to splurge, this is better than a Hostess cupcake, and I can make it with Love and KNOW what’s in it. My DNA test shows I’m predominantly English, Scottish, Irish and Dutch (in that order), so surely an Ancestor has made this before. I can remember when I make it and share some on my altar to the Grandfathers and Grandmothers.

UPDATE: This could feed an ARMY. I’ll cut the recipe in half next time.

1 and 3/4 cups (420ml) buttermilk (You can make your own with 1Tbls vinegar per cup of milk.)
1 large egg (optional)
4 and 1/4 cups (531g) all-purpose flour, plus more for your hands and counter
3 Tablespoons (38g) granulated sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
5 Tablespoons (70g) unsalted butter, cold and cubed*
optional: 1 cup (150g) raisins
TIPS: Don’t over-mix, and cold butter keeps it lighter.
Mix dry ingredients before combining with butter,  and mix egg and buttermilk to add all wet ingredients at once. Don’t over-work it.
Preheat oven to 400°F (204°C). Score a 1/2 inch deep X into the top. Bake until the bread is golden brown and center appears cooked through, about 45-55 minutes. Let it sit for 10 minutes. Store covered at room temperature for 2 days or 4 days in the refrigerator.

I pray you are feeling the lightning strikes from Above.  They are the Creator’s offering for a renewal and regeneration of the Earth in you that will receive the New Seed in Spring. I’m claiming Spirit brought me what’s already here and now, to Be Applied to a higher purpose.

much love, in  lak’ech,
Debra

The Jaguar’s Magic of Gratitude: I’m grateful for the Grandmothers and Grandfathers who are still with us now, and always in a personal way when we remember.

Galactic Tone 4: Stability; the cube is most stable of all forms and establishes volume by definition of height, length, depth and breadth; 4 directions establish orientation. The energy of 4 sets the parameters, which establish the freedoms and barriers needed to create a game, work, or relationship.

Storm/Cauac: Day of the blessing of rain, giver of all life and lightening, a gift of nitrogen to Mother Earth and ozone to Father Sky. Cauac is also associated with the moon and the cycles of the moon, which are the meter of the feminine aspect of creation. The essence of Storm is the feeling of unity, security and warmth experienced in the home while the tempest of trouble rages in the world outside. Perpetually youthful, Storms exist to experience the ecstasy of freedom. They have the great capacity to both learn and teach. Their constant quest for novel experiences often leads to difficult tests and storms of emotion. Looking at these difficulties for the lessons they indeed are, will enrich our lives rather than destroy. Cauac individuals teach much through their electricity of being. Lightning energizes earth, this same energy energizes humans. Divine connections can be accessed.

Cherokee, Redbird/TOTSU’HWA: Redbird’s symbol is Alcyone of the Pleiades Star in constellation Taurus.  Alcyone is the Central Sun of the Universe, heart of heaven. Lightning is the visible evidence of the presence of Redbird Spirit in the Sky, daughter of the Sun Spirit, sign of Fire, Sun’s alter ego on Earth. Redbird is a feminine sign; the hand that rocks the cradle. The symbol of nurturing, the lightning nurtures and energizes, with energy for zest, curiosity, imagination, and ideas. Lightning adds spiritual force to the human by way of “lightning of the blood” of a healer, directly body to body vibration. The key to spiritual communication and access to the wisdom of the Ancestors lies in the ability to bestir the blood to speak. Sacred stones such as flint, obsidian, crystal are created by lightning striking the ground.

  1. Structured Water Update – Pauline shared that the EMOTO portion for structuring water is Key to the Process. “When I do the 13 count, I sing the number from a heart full of gratitude, and not from an attitude of being annoyed spending time with the process. Each number carries a (mayan!) attribute that can be placed in the water as a bonus to be ingested.” (Thanks, Pauline.)
