THE TRECENA OF OFFERING/MULUC: THE SACRED EXCHANGE
MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL
2 Dog/OC, (Cherokee, Wolf/KANA’TI), Destiny Kin 210
January 28, 2023, 01/28/2023
Greetings Beloved Kin,

2 Dog / OC
Dog/OC (Wolf/KANA’TI) represents the “God of Unconditional Love.” OC (awk) resides at the “top of the uinal pyramid” in position 10, next to Monkey/CHUEN in position 11. They hold affinity as two, aligned as one in Divine Trinity. Offering/MULUC holds position 9, representing the “whole investment” in the lower place that creates the Higher One (10). Sirius, the Dog Star, is a symbol of the Light of the Creator’s Love.
Tone 2 raises the Consciousness of our Duality. Our body of thoughts is separated from the One with a longing to be reunited. Tone 2 represents our side of a Divine Conversation, sharing thoughts of Duality. We were offered Divine Inspiration on Tone 1. Now we consider the possibilities, considering our own strengths and human limitations to carry it out. We face the question, “to be or not to be.”
Tone 1 is the first thought of every day, when wake up with the Inspiration for what we could do with a new beginning. Our “second thought” is about yesterday. Our faith depends on how we see what we accomplished before. We consider ways to invest more in the Dream for tomorrow. It’s easy to be “all in our head” on Tone 2.
Dog’s Element of Air relates to our faculties of Consciousness and Discernment. Residing in the North, the direction of Wisdom, our best way is to remember what we’ve learned in the trecena of Wisdom/CIB. The Element of Air is One with the Heart of Sky. We breathe and are breathed by the Creator. Through the Sacred Breath we can raise our faculties of Consciousness and receive the Light from Above. The Truth of the Creator’s Love holds the Truth of Love that can change our mind. We can’t see beyond Human’s imagination on Tone 2. At an altar we can remember a Divine Promise for the Future. Monkey/CHUEN is with us to remind us we create tomorrow’s possibilities, today. We have to learn everything the “hard way” for the Truth to be born out as our own experience.
The 2 most important things we learned from Wisdom/CIB is that “we don’t know anything,” and, “the Creator knows everything.” We may not see what tomorrow brings, but we can remember to Look for the Signs of the Creator’s Offering of Unconditional Love, and Divine Provisions for every Human limitation. We at least know the Wise thing to do, when we listen for the Master’s Voice.

Sirius, the Dog Star, and the Orion Nebula, our Nursery in the Heavens. To find Sirius, use the belt of Orion as a pointer. The belt’s three stars point downward toward Sirius to the left. Source: Space.com
Sirius is nicknamed the “Dog Star” because it is part of the constellation Canis Major, Latin for “the greater dog.” The expression “dog days” refers to the period from July 3 through Aug. 11, when Sirius rises in conjunction with the sun. The ancients felt that the combination of the sun during the day and the star at night was responsible for the extreme heat during mid-summer. (Sirius shines above the pyramids of Giza at the Lion’s Gate, 08/08.)
Dog/OC is “man’s best friend,” faithful beyond death. The Dog is said to lead our journey back to the stars. The Milky Way was called “the place the dog ran.” Wolf/Kana’ti is the leader of the pack. For every offering the Wolf brings home, it leaves the scent of the trail for others to follow all the way back to the place where a treasure was found. We only have to follow the way of the Dog to remember the place where we are always One.
The Dog seizes every opportunity for Love and knows where to look to find the treasure. A Dog engages ALL its senses in the experience of Life. A Dog always shares an Offering of Love. If there is no love given in exchange, it simply moves on to the next opportunity. A Dog doesn’t hold resentments. It leaves the door open for Love in another time. The Dog knows that Love is an offering we can never forget. And, a Dog knows that sometimes we have other things on our mind… like today, when we’re trying to figure out how to find Our Way. We forget when we’re lost in Human thoughts of reason, that a Divine Master will always lead the way.
Go outside, or open the windows to draw a breath of fresh air. Smell the roses. Dig everywhere for the treasure of Love and you’ll find it. Imagine how happy the pack will be when you have a gift to bring home. Treasure the gifts that others bring home. It may look like a gooey mess to you, but remember the smile on their face is the evidence that THEY think it’s pretty swell. Repay kindness with kindness. And remember MULUC’s guidance, to pay it forward. Assume someone will see the beauty of the offering when they have the time to look to see.
Monkey/CHUEN is along for the ride, so above all, remember to hold a sense of humor, and apply CHUEN’s gift of curiosity. People have very strange ways of expressing themselves when it comes to Love. Love is what we’re always searching to find, and half the time we can’t see it when it’s right in front of our face. If someone you love steps on your toes, remember, they know they can because you love. (They are just untrained dogs.) You might also resist jumping up on people with your offering. There’s a time and a place for everything.
The Elders say that some totems come to us for a time and a specific purpose, but when the Dog makes an appearance, you’re forever a member of the pack. If we’re dreaming of heaven on Earth, we have to find some way to see the best in everyone. It’s a sacrifice we were born to make. Remember, we can hang out with the members of the pack who are having the best time at the moment. It’s a choice, as long as we remember to Love and Forgive, to keep the door open to another time.
And, REMEMBER, everyone is likely to be caught up in the passion of their Human emotions. The Dog can share “the work” of Love to build the Inner Strength of our Heart. And, we’re ALL a bunch of monkeys at least half the time. Focus on the Creator’s Love when there’s no human love around, and look to see the best in others as a way to Give Back and Pay Forward.
I remembered you in my prayers tonight (1 Muluc, 01/27/2023). I pray that you are surrounded by all the heavenly hosts, and that no enemy that rises against you, seen or unseen, will prosper from an intention of evil. You’ve been such a blessing, I wish I could give something back that means as much as the offering of your presence means to me. I’ve never seen you, but I know the beauty of your Light. I pray we all meet again, somewhere on the “otherside,” across the Milky Way.
love, in lak’ech,
Debra

Sirius, and the White Dwarf Star – Sirius, the Dog Star is the shiniest star in the night sky. It has a high luminosity, or intrinsic brightness, relative to other stars, and it’s relatively close to Earth (8.6 light-years away). According to NASA, Sirius has a mass that’s two times that of Earth’s sun. If the star were placed next to our sun, Sirius would outshine it more than 20 times over. The nearest white dwarf star is buried in the glow of the brightest star in the nighttime sky. This burned-out stellar remnant is a faint companion to the brilliant blue-white Dog Star, Sirius, located in the winter constellation Canis Major. (The white dwarf is called Sirius B.) Source: NASA
THE JAGUAR’S EARTH MAGIC OF GRATITUDE:
I’m grateful for the Light and the Power of Love.
The Wolf Conservation Center says that the Wolf’s howl strengthens the bond of love and marks the boundaries of their pack. I’ve taken to sending out a howl from the altar once in a while for you… one of the blessings of my new place. I couldn’t do that in an apartment. I hope you have a private sanctuary somewhere. I tried it on the dog next door and he’s been a little less prone to bark at me. Maybe I should try it at Walmart, and see who shows up. 🙂

Galactic Tone 2: Mysterious as the question ‘to be or not to be?” Two is the recognition of the separation of self from all else and the desire to be rejoined. Walking a balance while making choices of all kinds, light/dark, male/female, good/bad, Yin/Yang, is the energy of this number. Experiencing the differences between one and another is the use and purpose of this number.
Dog/OC: Courageous, loyal and warm-hearted, very alert and valiant, people born of Dog are respected for their sense of justice and their protection. People born of the sun sign Dog are very sensual and know how to enjoy life. Playfulness and a good understanding of the basic human nature lead to prosperity for Dog. Dogs are good team players who love to travel and have a keen sense of their position in society. Dogs are ambitious and will take opportunities when they offer themselves, including infidelities. Dog persons share the nature of coyotes, spies, wolves and lawyers.
A GOOD DAY TO: Enjoy Friends and Family.
Cherokee, WOLF/KANA’TI: Wolf’s symbol is Sirius (Dog star) and Antares, one or the other always visible but never at the same time. Wolf is our brother, shares our very roots. All dogs are domesticated wolves, companionship and guidance. Connecting link between the worlds. One who inspires loyalty, diplomacy and sense of humor with unlimited potential. A teacher, healer, pathfinder and transformer. Sharp as obsidian, gentle as a lamb. Totem -Dog. Loyalty and faithfulness that survives beyond death. This was the first day of creation energy in this 4th world, sets the energy for love, loyalty and faithfulness on the 5200 year cycle. Heart chakra energy is involved so that we can move to the state of “unconditional love” with compassion. All sexual desire issues that are not in harmony will surface to be cleared.
