9 Star / LAMAT
Greetings Beloved Kin,
Peak Tone 9 completes a Transformation. Through the Intention of Patience to see the big picture, we see the Truth from a different perspective – how it fits into the grand scheme. There’s always a “next” question until we comprehend the Truth of Understanding.
AFTER the darkness is over, we can see a meaning and purpose and the Truth of Cause and Effect. On Tone 9 we can see the reason “why.”
LAMAT is a symbol of Venus, who shares Human’s cycle of 260 days as the Morning and Evening Star. We are intended to shine in the darkness and the light. The glyph illustrates the 4 directions as a purpose to shine equally in all directions.
A star that shines inward will implode. Shining all around, a Star holds the balance of its Time and Place. Residing in the South, Star/LAMAT relates to our Relationships with one another and with the Natural World. We can’t focus all our Love on a few without compromising our Right Relationship with the whole. We have to Love the Whole Earth, just the same.
LAMAT’s totem is the Rabbit, a cauldron of life and symbol of sexuality, reproduction, fertility, and Instant Manifestation. This is a “lucky day” when whatever we focus on as the “object of our affection” will be multiplied to abundance.
Venus is following the Sun as it sets in the Western horizon. Venus is known as the Divine Timekeeper by the Maya. When Venus transits the Sun, all the Mayan calendars are said to align in synchronicity as the moment of “perfect time.” Star/LAMAT is a symbol of the Scion, the first descendent of the Supreme Lord of Creation. Venus is the 2nd brightest star, next to the Sun.
We are transformed to shine our brightest light, following the Light of the Creator as it crosses the horizon from the East to the West. The trecena of Sun/AHAU marks the perfect time to see the Cause and the Effect of an Intention of Divine Trinity. When we make the Creator the greatest object of our affection, we’ll be held in the balance of Right Relationship all around. Today the Truth can make Common Sense when we see the Truth from the perspective of the Master of Creation and Lord of Time.
It always takes Time to see the Truth. Our Human Ego always wants what it wants right now. It’s the same with the prayers we offer in Divine Communion. We have to look and listen and wait to know the Answer. We could at least give 24 hours to see a Miracle. Three days is even better. It takes 3 days to arrive at the Truth all around. By the 4th Day we take the Truth to Heart. We prayed on 8 Deer/MANIK for the end of sorrows and the beginning of a new cycle of Light. We will reach a Divine Understanding on 12 Monkey/CHUEN. On the Day that symbolizes the Human Creator, we will comprehend the Truth and the Way to create our own Reality, holding Faith in Love that’s shared in Harmony and Equity – a Hand Above guiding the Hand Below.
We aren’t shining all around when we’re focused on trying to earn someone’s love. We end up shining all the light on our self, trying to prove that we’re enough. Meanwhile, we’re distracted in the everyday from the love there is to Look and See that’s shining in every direction. The Creator’s love is expressed through the Beauty of every direction. We have to learn to love the darkness of the unknown (West) just as much as we love the Light of Illumination that rises in the East. Live is a balance between the darkness and the Light. For all the darkness there is to see, a Divine Father created a Universe that holds the balance. It’s only a matter of Time to see the Truth. It’s a LAW of the Universe. It can’t be broken any more than the LAW of the Golden Rule. (The Golden Rule is the Law of Cause and Effect.)
This is a day to “think about what you want and love” and NOT “what you don’t want or don’t love.” The energy of the Rabbit can be all over the place. Our thoughts may wander, but when we CHOOSE our thoughts by Intention, we’ll be stopped in our tracks as soon as we Remember. And, that’s the best we can do – that’s the tangible Truth of a Human of physicality. We’ll only be Perfect when we follow a Divine Father all the way to the “otherside.”
Imagine everything your heart desires and GIVE THANKS that whatever we can Dream that’s in line with the Golden Rule, was offered as the Dream we can create to come true. By the Time we reach the understanding of 12 Monkey/CHUEN, we’ll Know the Truth if that’s what we’re looking to see. Knowing changes everything. Once we Know the Creator’s Love is True – that there’s a Divine Meaning for everything, we’ll be turned away from our doubts and fears. “How it’s happening” will be a matter of curiosity. We may find Love that looks like the Dog dragged home, but we’ll only see the Beauty of the Offering as our highest object of affection. Isn’t that the Truth? Aren’t we always trying to fix something on the “outside,” when Love is Beauty that shines from within? We have to love our self, too. Not for what we create, but for who we were created to be.
Love is seeing and acknowledging the beauty within someone else, beyond all the human limitations. By the tradition of the East, “Namaste” is the greeting that acknowledges the Truth of the Light in everyone. Darkness is not the same as evil. There is evil in the world, thought it is not of us. Evil found its way in through our doubts and fears. We can’t Love and we can’t even Create when we’re caught up in our resentments. We can only think straight when we keep Love on our mind and remember, sometimes it’s hard to see through all our broken human ways.
Wish on a star. Whatever you can imagine that’s beautiful and pure is meant to come true. We don’t have to see it now, when we KNOW the Dream is coming true. If it happened right now, we would wish we could go back to see where it all began and how it happened. (We always do, when we find True Love. We remember how we happened to be in a time or place, or we imagine our “first impression” that didn’t see a glimmer of hope.)
Time is the only Perfect Way to see everything. If only we could see that Big Picture from the beginning. And, this is a new beginning, just like every day when the Sun rises and brings Light to the Truth of the Beauty all around.
love, in lak’ech, i am another you,
NAMASTE,
Debra, 9 Eagle/MEN

LUNAR NEW YEAR: Year of the Rabbit (2023)

9 Star/LAMAT (Cherokee, Rabbit/NOQUI’SEGWA)
Galactic Tone 9: Patience. The energy of Nine is one of the getting a better perspective of the bigger picture. With the energy of Nine plans or patterns begin to come to completion. Nine requires patience and perseverance that is found in the bigger picture, otherwise there is great suffering from the lack of insight. The completion of cycles of action is all-important to Nine.
Star/LAMAT: Star energy is multiplication of all things to abundance. Star has been associated with the fertility of rabbits for its ability to multiply. As each sun in the sky, Star persons shine equally in all directions. This natural tendency of harmony and balance can become compulsion, motivating Star to be too agreeable and too generous, rejected gifts cause fear and resentment. When a Star believes it has been given too much, they are weakened or may even collapse. In this “Black Hole” state, Stars are prone to verbal jousting and arguing to force their point of view on everyone.
Cherokee, Rabbit/NOQUI’SEGWA: Symbol-Venus, The Morning Star cycle of 260 days and Evening Star cycle of another 260 days, inspired the 13 numbers, 20 Day sign Sacred Calendar. Rabbit is the Trickster of Cherokee culture, matching the Coyote in other nations. The personification of Light and New Life, Sunrise, the scion of the Moon-Father of earth children, the Rabbit is fertility, be fruitful and multiply. Represents softness, gentleness and vulnerability. LAMAT– Totem Rabbit. Energies of re-birth, regeneration, ripening, harvest and abundance. This person is overflowing with love energy in all areas of life. Spiritual growth is natural and with ease due to the unconditional love energy that flows.
