Greetings Beloved Kin,

My thoughts must have been led off-track on the Holy Days. The BIG Next Thing is TODAY. I’m grateful God Created Timing that’s beautiful.

There’s a Global Burner day in the center of each season of the Tzolk’in (as well as the center of our personal round from our Mayan birthday.) Global Burner’s mark the Time of a major release of residual energies of our past season. The tradition carries on in the Maya lands. The Mayan priest carries out the sacred fire ceremony on behalf of the whole. The presence of the “smoke of prayers” and the smell of copal serve as a signal to the whole of the one who is praying on behalf of the whole. (The Mayan priest isn’t a preacher per se, but a solitary one who counts the days, and carries out the sacred ceremonies as they are ordered by Time.)

 

When I first started follow the Tzolk’in, I was amazed by the synchronicity with every calendar observed by every tradition. Besides that, the meaning of every day had an uncanny way of telling my own story. Now I know it’s a simple matter of all these ways following the Moon’s calendar. The most Holy days on the Christian calendar, Christmas and Easter, are ordered by the Moon and the Solstices. A “new Light” is born on the day when the Sun starts moving again. Easter is ordered by the first Sunday, after the first Full Moon, after the Spring Equinox (that’s 3 firsts (1’s). Last year I watched it line up with the Jewish calendar’s Holiest Days. It’s aligned perfectly with the I-Ching calendar, and the Full Wesak Moon of Buddhist tradition as their Holiest Day – the “High Watermark of  Spirit” on the Moon that marked the Birth and Death of the Buddha.

The Elders said the way to Higher Consciousness was to “track the mind.” That’s how the Maya figured it out, on the scale of personal experience. They all lived close to their own fields, since their commute was a walk to work. They didn’t have alarm clocks or cell phones to know what everyone else was doing. Yet, every morning they were all up at the same time, and in the 3rd hour of Light (Movement) were likely crossing paths on their way to work in the 3rd Hour of Light (8:00AM on Mayan time). They were all surveying their fields in the 4th hour to “set the rules” for the day.

“Setting Rules of Thought” is what Tone 4 is about. The Sum of our thoughts is like the cube, defined by its borders and parameters. Human’s are easily led astray by the thoughts of our Ego. We’re like a dog with a bone when we hold a resentment. The “reason” is, “we deserve to be mad.” You HAVE to have the Monkey’s sense of curiosity and keep a sense of humor about it. How can we be happy as long as we think we deserve to be miserable. We deserve to Forgive, so we can “live and let live.” You HAVE to have a strategy from the start. You can CHOOSE the thoughts you will intend to follow. If you do, when you forget, you’ll see what your doing and turn back before you go all the way down that road. It’s something we ALL have in Common. It’s a Common side of our Human Nature, we could call “bad” – but, hey, how else would we learn if we weren’t humbled by our own foolishness.

There are no “scheduled services” for the GLOBAL BURNER. When you know someone is praying for you, you silence your thoughts to hear and join in Divine Trinity. When the whole community knows there are many praying together, they all remember what Life is all about and all the reasons we have to be grateful. Bygones become bygones when we release the residue of the past. (If you’ve been more stressed than usual, it’s due to a big crescendo of feelings that build up to this release.) So, the GOOD NEWS – it’s Here and Now. This is the Best Time on the calendar to “let it go,” and wholly turn your thoughts back to your Dream of the Future.

Eagle/MEN is the nahaul of an Intermediary that flies in the realm near the Highest One. Eagle shares its vision of the future and the Faith that what it sees likes within its grasp. We all have to see it for our self, though the Eagle shares the vision to see a speck of Light in the future. An Eagle doesn’t have to see the whole image of the end. A distinctive color of fur in a bush nearly 2 miles away is all it needs to lock in the coordinates and lean in to the Wind without every looking away.

Like the circle of the Sacred Fire Ceremony, this is a beautiful time to write down your biggest sorrow and burn it. Replace it in the circle of your closen thoughts by everything you want to believe. Make sure you include the Creator. The Caim Prayer is a perfect reflection of this. We will always forget when the emotions of our Ego get the best of us, but oh well, we can stand with integrity with every choice we make to turn it around. It gets way easier with a little Time as an “invisible jaguar” on your own. Avoid all Humans and move in stealth. LOL

You only have to light a candle to join the ceremony. It’s an added bonus if you have some copal incense. Remember to engage all your senses. You will if you burn away your worries as party of your own ceremony. You won’t be the only one and we can stand with the prayers of the Maya in Divine Trinity.

Eagle/MEN resides in the West – direction of the Sunset as our Unknown Future. The Elders say to let the worries of the day go down with prayers to the West on the Setting Sun. The Element of Water (and Blue) are symbols of Truth that flows through the Heart. We’ll likely be “sowing with tears” if we Count our Blessings and remember all that’s beautiful about being Alive in a Living world, where all things are Conscious of Light and the Times and Seasons. “Tomorrow is another day,” is a wise thing to say in the reflection of Spirit Above. Thank GOD for that.  (Maybe I’ll write that down in a circle of all the thoughts that are WORTHY to follow.) It might make me laugh through the tears.

I’m re-sharing prayers from the 4 Eagle/MEN Global Burner in 2022 – the year of Second Chances. All our prayers are answered as soon as we ask. What we have a hard time grasping is that the Divine Way never plays out OUR way. This is a day to admit, OUR best thinking doesn’t get us anywhere most of the time. The Creator’s way is the way we DESERVE and WILL learn someday in plenty of Time to carry our Highest Dream to its end.

I’ll be lightning candles, like every day – but the “Sun” deserves a bigger fire than that after sharing an X-Class Solar Wind that will bring the Energy of Light that flows right through us and orders our biological clock into alignment for the Season. It will be a beautiful day, like always.

THE GLOBAL BURNER PRAYERS FROM BEFORE, WORTH REMEMBERING AND REPEATING: 

That’s Ian Lungold’s of MayanMajix.com in the NW corner of the altar, a picture that traveled with me on the pilgrimage to Ek’ Balam, a jaguar’s journey for the Day of the Dead, October 31, 2018. The timing was planned for a vacation there before I looked to the Tzolk’in to find it was Ian’s Mayan birthday (12 Sun/AHAU) falling on Halloween, 13 years after his Ascension to the other side. It’s a Miracle how Time was written in all things to tell our story, and raise Faith to Knowing. His last dream was to serve us all among the Legion of Light that is the gathering of angels and all our Divine Ancestors that tend the sacred fires Above, as Below. May we remember the Masters of Faith that shared their Divine Inheritance of wisdom, and walked this same “hard road” too.

The Global Burner in 2022 marked the Day I left a whole world behind in Seattle, on another pilgrimage of 2,000 miles as a solo jaguar journey. I made it through blizzards, prepared for anything. I even had prepackaged baggies of food in the truth, in case I found myself in the company of travelers stranded on the road. It was horrible, and beautiful when I reached the end. Then it repeated itself. LOLOL

Prayers for all the 2’s, and the Year of the Tiger,
ASKING Peace, Harmony, Love, Happiness and Well-being for the Whole.
And Giving Thanks for it from the Beginning…
while we wait for Faith to become Knowing, just like before.

Galactic Tone 4: Stability; the cube is most stable of all forms and establishes volume by definition of height, length, depth and breadth; 4 directions establish orientation. The energy of 4 sets the parameters, which establish the freedoms and barriers needed to create a game, work, or relationship.

Eagle/MEN: Intermediary between Heaven and Earth. Due to the Eagles superior point of view and keen intelligence, they achieve material abundance and good fortune. A messenger gifted with patience and a deep sense of value, Eagle brings hope and trust on the wings of Spirit. Eagle persons are very detail oriented and technically inclined. Compassionate service to others sustains prosperity for Eagle personas as the flapping of wings would sustain their bird brothers. If Eagle becomes viciously competitive or possessive, greed and jealousy cause a fall from the heights. Eagles, being blessed with freedom of movement, should be aware of escapism. Eagles may be tempted to just fly away from troubles by using indulgences.

A GOOD DAY TO: Ascend to a Higher Perspective

Cherokee, Eagle/UWO’HATLI:  Symbol is Mars the Spirit Warrior. He is a minion of Grandfather Moon. Eagles were the warrior society, the braves the protectors of the nation.Women were included. There was no discrimination which is reflected in the language: third person singular is divided into animate, human and animate, not human instead of he and she.  The energy of high hopes and anticipations, dreams and visions,cosmic consciousness and commitment.  On earth a provider of excellence, leader, husbandry, care-taking of others, financial security and inheritance. Totem-Eagle. Powerful energy for success in worldly affairs, due to far seeing  vision.  Ability to create masses of money and abundance through an intellectual type of profession.  Eagle asks for what he desires and manifests it.  Professor, lawyer, teacher, leader.

REMEMBERING RAYSHARD BROOKS
On June 12, 2020, (4 Dog/OC) Rayshard Brooks was killed by police after falling asleep in the Wendy’s drive-through lane. He was 27 years old, preparing to celebrate his daughter’s 8th birthday. The Love of a Dog was with him on the path to the stars. All those that we Remember, Know the Light of our Prayers in the Up Above. Our Divine Justice is claimed the moment we cross to the otherside. The Love that is ours to grow is the Sound of Living Prayers. May we remember the children, the families and friends who bear the sacrifice for ALL Humans who are Taken.

By the Golden Rule, we know we all dream that someone will remember. That’s the way we honor all life.
